PLEASE NOTE: The maximum area which can be cleaned with one battery charge depends on the conditions of the particular pool and the dirt which needs to be removed. If there is a very high level of dirt with large pieces of dirt on the pool floor, the pool robot will slow down on its journey across the pool floor and this can mean that less area can be cleaned with one battery charge than with moderate soiling.

Changes to technical and visual aspects of the product may be made without notice as part of future developments. All dimensions, information and specifications in the operating instructions are therefore subject to change. The operating instructions cannot therefore be used as the basis for asserting a legal claim.

CRIVIT CRPR 50 A1 - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK: - 1

ATTENTION! NOT SUITABLE FOR DRINKING WATER

- Only use the original battery when operating the device. In the case of damage, please contact our service point so that the battery can be replaced by an expert.

■ Only charge the pool robot when it is switched off.

■ Do not leave the pool robot unattended when it is charging.

■ The charger must not be used outdoors or exposed to moisture, rain, liquids or heat.

■ Dry the pool robot completely before recharging and only charge

it in a clean, dry area. Do not charge in a location which is not protected from the sun or near explosive gases.

■ The filter insert may be damaged if there are sharp objects in the pool.
■ The pool robot will stop automatically when it is out of the water.

■ During operation, do not work near the rotating nozzle head as it can be dangerous due to its suction force. This applies in particular to the human body, animals, hair or clothing.

  • Do not dismantle the pool robot beyond the instructions described in this manual for maintenance and cleaning purposes.
  • Stop the device if something is not right and please then contact our service point.
    ■ When using the pool robot make sure you observe the following: max. water depth: 3 m, water temperature: 4°C-35°C
Before you submerge the pool robot into the swimming pool, make sure that the cover cap of the charging port is fully in place.

- Principle of operation

Inside the pool robot 1 there is a pump which draws in water on the underside of the device. The water is pumped through a filter insert 13 inside the pool robot 1, and this filters dirt particles out of the water. These dirt particles are collected in the base tank in the bottom cover 9. The filtered water is then expelled from the top of the pool robot 1 through the rotating nozzle head 2. Thanks to the recoil principle, the pool robot 1 then moves in the opposite direction to the expelled water. As soon as the pool robot 1 encounters an obstacle, the rotating nozzle head 2 rotates in the opposite direction and the pool robot 1 starts to move along a new route away from the obstacle.

- Before using the device

  • Unpack the pool robot and remove all transport packaging. Check the device for completeness and damage. Do not use the device if it is defective.
  • You should charge the pool rob before using it for the first time. Only use the charger 14 of type YS12C-0841500C delivered with the product.

- Using the device

- Charging the device

■ Only use the charged type YS12C-0841500C delivered with the product.
■ Make sure that the pool robots switched off and is completely dry.
■ Remove the cover of the charging port from the charging port 12 by pulling it upwards. See Fig. B.
■ Connect the charge to the charging port 12. Plug the charger 14 into a power socket.
During the charging process the LED on the charger will light up red.
- When the charging process is complete, the LED on the charger will light up green.
Once the charging process is complete, disconnect the charge from the power socket and charging port 12 and seal the charging port 12 again with the charging port cover 11.

If the pool robots fully charged, then an operating period of up to an hour is possible. ATTENTION! Make absolutely sure that the cover of the charging port 11 is fully in place and that no water can get in! Risk of material damage and risk of injury due to electric shock!

- Putting the device in the water

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend that the pool's filter system is switched off when the pool robot 1 is being used, as otherwise water circulation in the pool could disturb the movement of the pool robot 1.
PLEASE NOTE: Obstacles in the pool such as, for example, ladders or floating objects could also affect the movement of the pool robot 1 under certain circumstances.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using a saltwater pool, make sure that all the salt is dissolved before using the pool robot 1.

  • Switch the device on by pressing the on/off switch. The on/off switch lights up blue. The device has a sensor which only switches the motor on when the appliance is immersed in water.
    ■ Loosen the float ④ and the ring ⑤, then put the pool robot ① into the water at an angle and swivel it until all there is no air left in the housing. It is only possible for the pool robot ① to suck in water and the motor to start once all the water has drained out of the housing. See Fig. H.
    ■ Then let the device sink to the bottom of the pool.
    ■ Shorten the length of the into suit the depth of the pool, by tying a knot in the line, for example. See Fig. H.

As described in the "Principle of operation" chapter, the pool robot 1 will then move along the pool floor in random paths to clean the pool.

■ When the battery is empty, the pool robot will stop near the edge of the pool.

● Taking the device out of the water

- When the pool cleaning is complete, pull the pool robot of the water by using the ring 5 or float line 4.

■ When doing this, allow all water to drain out of the housing of the pool robot 1.

■ Switch the device off by pressing the on/off switch

■ Dry the device after each use.

If you are using a saltwater pool, rinse the device thoroughly under running water after every use. Do not use cleaners.

- Maintenance and cleaning

ATTENTION! When carrying out maintenance work, disconnect the pool robot 1 from the charger 14. Make sure that the device is switched off!

■ Open the housing of the pool robot by separating the top cover 3 and bottom cover 9 by undoing the four quick-release connectors 7 (Fig. E). Rinse it out with clear water and dry it before refitting.

■ Remove the filter insert Rinse it out with clear water and dry it before refitting.

■ Empty the dirt which has been collected in the base tank in the bottom cover 9.

- Rinse the bottom cover with clear water. Dry it before reassembly.

- Clean and dry the device after each use with a soft, clean cloth or a soft brush. You must not use any aggressive or abrasive detergents!

Reassembly after cleaning:

- Insert the filter in the groove of the bottom cover 9. Make sure it is in the correct position, see Fig. G.

■ Then put the top coback onto the bottom cover 9 and the filter insert 13 which is fitted inside.
- Fix the top cover onto the bottom cover 9 by tightening the four quick-release connectors 7.

PLEASE NOTE: One of the main wheels 8 has an integrated magnet. This ensures that when this main wheel 8 is stationary, the pool robot changes direction as soon as it encounters an obstacle. If problems should occur with this, then please contact our service point to discuss changing the main wheel 8. See Fig. F.

- Storage

■ Store the dry device in a clean, dry, well-ventilated location and protect it from frost. Keep the device away from sunlight, heat, fire sources, children and (swimming pool) chemicals!
The battery will self discharge when in storage. You should therefore charge the device every 2 months and make sure that the device is fully charged before storing.
The optimum storage temperature is between 10 °C and 25 °C. Higher temperatures can permanently affect the service life of the battery.

If you are not going to use the pool radio for a longer period of time, then you must clean the device thoroughly after the last use and before using it again. Otherwise it may be difficult to start the device because of deposits or residues.
