PURPOSE
The unit is intended for use in homes and small premises. However, these rooms must not be smaller than 5m^2 . It is not intended for use in greenhouses or construction sites. During initial start-up, there may be an odour indicating heating. This is normal and will disappear after several minutes of operation. However, if it persists longer, contact the service department.
FOLDING INSTRUCTIONS
The heater is packaged with the feet unattached. These must be fitted before the heater is put into operation.
CAUTION: Do not use the unit without the castors fitted. Only operate the heater in an upright position (castors at the bottom, controls at the top), any other position could create a dangerous situation.
- Place the heater body upside down in a scratch-free place, make sure it is stable and will not fall off.
- Insert the castors fig. B8 into the holes in the mounting plate as shown in fig. B7 and tighten with the cap nuts fig. B7. Repeat this operation for the other 3 castors.
CAUTION: do not over-tighten as this may damage the mounting plate or the threads.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Before using the heater, place it on a flat and stable surface, damage may occur if placed on an incline or slope.
- Set all controls to the off position and insert the plug into an outlet with a good earth connection. Make sure it matches the nameplate and the plug is a good fit.
- Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the MAX position and switch on the heater as follows:
first switch (I) fig. B3
➢ or second switch button (II) Fig.
or press both switches (I) fig. B3 and (II) fig. B4 setting both heaters together.
- When the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat knob Fig. A1 counterclockwise until the indicator light goes out. You can now leave the thermostat on this setting. As soon as the room temperature falls below the set temperature, the appliance will switch on automatically until the set temperature is reached again. In this way, the room temperature remains constant with the most economical use of electricity.
- If you want to change the temperature setting in the room, turn the thermostat knob Fig. A1 clockwise to increase the temperature or counterclockwise to decrease it.
- This radiator is equipped with an overheating protection system that shuts down the radiator when parts of the radiator become excessively hot.
- To switch off the heater completely, set all controls to OFF and remove the plug from the socket.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
- Always remove the plug from the socket and wait for the heater to cool down before cleaning it.
- Wipe the radiator with a soft, damp (not wet) cloth
WARNING:
Do not immerse the heater in water. Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives. Do not allow the interior to become wet, as this may cause a hazard.
- To store the heater, wrap the cable around the spool Fig. B6 and insert the plug into the designated holes Fig. B5 and store the heater in a clean, dry place.
- In the event of a fault or doubt, do not repair the heater yourself, there is a risk of fire or electric shock. Contact your dealer or an authorised service centre.
