Intended use

This appliance is intended for indoor use only.

This appliance is intended exclusively for domestic, non-commercial use.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

• by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
• farm houses;
• bed and breakfast type environments.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

Any use of the appliance other than described in this user manual is regarded as misuse and may cause injury or damage to the appliance and void the warranty.

Safety precautions

WARNING

Safety hazard due to unintended use:

• Do not use the appliance with wet hands, in a damp environment or on wet surfaces. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Unplug the appliance when you're not using it, especially if it's near water. Be extra careful when using it in the bathroom.
• Only use the appliance as described in this user manual.
• By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
• Never use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage or defects. Always replace a damaged or defective appliance immediately.
• Never make any adjustments to the appliance. Adjustments may affect safety, warranty and proper operation.

Electric shock hazard due to short-circuiting:

• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
• Never use the appliance if there are visible signs of damage or defects to the appliance or power cable. Always replace a damaged or defective appliance or power cable immediately or contact customer service.
  • Always avoid spillage on the power cable.

Fire hazard due to overheating:

• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. Only use the appliance under supervision. Switch off the appliance and remove the power cable from the power outlet when you leave the room.
• Never use the appliance with a programmer, timer, separate remote control system or any other device that switches the appliance on automatically.
• Never place the appliance directly underneath a power outlet. The appliance may become hot during use. Always keep the back of the appliance clear of any objects.
• Never place the appliance near a heat source.

Fire hazard due to short-circuiting:

• Never drop the appliance and avoid bumping. Excessive vibrations can lead to loosened connections and can influence proper functioning of the appliance. Stop using the appliance if the appliance has been dropped.
• Never use the appliance with an extension cable.
• Never connect any other appliance with high power consumption to the same group.

Choking hazard due to plastic packaging:

- Never let children play with the packaging material. Always keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.

CAUTION

Burning hazard due to heat:

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never touch the hot surfaces during or shortly after use. The hot surfaces may be subject to residual heat. Let the appliance cool down completely before handling the appliance.

Tripping hazard due to loose cables:

• Never leave the power cable hanging out in a way that someone might trip over it or accidentally pull it.
• To protect against fire, electric shook, and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs, or other electric parts in water or other liquids.
• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

NOTICE

Risk of damaging the appliance:

• The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
• Only use the appliance with the provided accessories or accessories recommended by Princess.
• Never place the appliance near the edge of a countertop during use. Vibrations may occur during use which may cause the appliance to move. Always place the appliance on a stable, flat, heat, and moisture resistant surface.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
2. Place the base on a dry, level and stable base.
3. Plug power cord into wall socket.

USE

Using the appliance

• Make sure your hands are completely dry before plugging in the appliance.
• Connect the hair dryer and switch the power switch from ON to OFF. See image B
• Adjust the desired temperature

When turned on for the first time, the hair dryer will blow air at the lowest temperature and intensity. The first LED on the side buttons will light up. See image C.

Air flow speed

The hair dryer is equipped with an air flow adjustment button. By pressing its top, the air flow increases and blue LEDS light up. To decrease the flow, press the bottom part of the adjustment button. See image D.

Temperature settings

The hair dryer is equipped with 3 temperature levels that can be adjusted by pressing the dedicated button. By pressing its top, the temperature increase and red LEDS light up. To decrease the temperature, press the bottom part of the button. See image E.

Cool shot

You can use the 'Cool Shot' button while drying your hair to help set your style. When the Cool Shot is on, the temperature indicator lights will flash quickly. When you turn it off, the temperature will go back to the previous setting. See image F.

Lock button

After selecting the speed and temperature of the airflow, lock the power switch in the chosen position. See image G.

Memory function

The hair dryer has a memory function that saves the temperature setting from your last use. This lets you set the temperature and airflow speed that works best for your hair type, making it convenient and efficient to use.

Auto cleaning function

This hair dryer has an auto cleaning function to clean its inner parts. To use auto cleaning:

• Make sure the hair dryer is off.
• Gently rotate the external filter counterclockwise and pull it out.

- Press and hold the cool button on the top of the device for 5 seconds. See image H.

The motor will run in reverse for 15 seconds while other buttons are disabled. After the auto cleaning is done, put the external filter back in place and turn on the hair dryer. To stop auto cleaning early, simply turn on the hair dryer by switching the power from "o" to "l". The cleaning will stop, and the hair dryer will work normally.

Oxy-active technology

TROUBLESHOOTING

The hair dryer has an error detection function. If it finds any problems, the hair dryer won't turn on or will stop working. Depending on the type of error, the LEDs may indicate the following:

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

All our hair dryers have an innovative system that prevents hair from getting into the motor. To keep your appliance working well and extend its life, follow these maintenance tips:

• Always unplug the hair dryer and let it cool down before cleaning.
• Regularly remove dust and hair from the unit.
- To clean the rear filter, hold the hair dryer by the handle, turn the rear cover (filter holder) counterclockwise, and remove the internal filter.
- Wipe the filter with a cloth or damp sponge, and make sure it's completely dry before putting it back.
- Clean the body of the hair dryer with a damp cloth or sponge.
• Make sure the appliance is completely dry before using it again.

A well-maintained hair dryer will last much longer than one that isn't cared for.

STORAGE

Store the appliance in a dry and enclosed space.

DISPOSAL

The crossed out wheelie bin symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste. Electronic and Electrical Equipment not included in the selective sorting process are potentially dangerous for the environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous substances. Please dispose of responsibly at an approved waste or recycling facility.
