What type of electrical plug is needed?

It depends on the version: for North America, input voltage 120 V with NEMA 5-15 plug; for Europe/Australia, input voltage 230 V with Schuko or equivalent plug. Check the device label. Never reverse input and output.

Can I use this device continuously at full load?

Yes, but within specification limits. Do not exceed the maximum output current (23 A for 120 V, 10 A for 230 V). Prolonged full-load use may trigger the built-in thermal protection.

What to do if the output cuts off automatically?

This may be due to an overload or high internal temperature. Check that the current used does not exceed the rated value. If thermal protection has tripped, wait for the device to cool down (about 85°C) to automatically reset. If the overload protector has tripped, press the reset button after checking for short circuits.

How to adjust the output voltage?

Turn the regulator knob. Turning in one direction increases voltage; in the other, decreases it. The adjustment range is 0 to 130 V (NA model) or 0 to 300 V (EU/AU model).

What is the lifespan of the carbon brushes?

It varies with usage. Regularly inspect the brushes: they should be replaced when the contact width exceeds the width of two wires. Consult a professional for replacement.

Can I connect multiple regulators in parallel?

No, it is prohibited. Parallel use can damage the devices. Each regulator must be used alone on its circuit.

How to replace a fuse?

First unplug the device. Remove the defective fuse and insert a replacement fuse provided in the package. Use only fuses of the same rating. Power on the device again.

Is the device protected against short circuits?

Yes, thanks to a resettable overload protector. In case of a short circuit, the protector cuts off the output. After solving the problem, press the reset button to restore operation.

Where to install this device?

Place it in a dry, well-ventilated location, away from dust, corrosive gases, and vibrations. Do not expose to rain or immersion. Keep altitude below 1000 m and ambient temperature between -15°C and +40°C.

How to clean the device?

Unplug the device before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Never use water, solvents, or abrasive products. Ensure ventilation slots are not blocked.

- Basic principle: The regulator is a self-coupling transformer whose circle ratio can be adjusted continually. The main axes act with the brush frame when the regulator brush recurs to the hand-wheel. The circle ratio can be changed continually when sliding with the grind surface of the coil, so that the output voltage adjusts from zero to max smoothly.

- Main structure: The product is a single-phase 0.5KVA~3KVA adjustable voltage structure. The coil on the upper surface has a certain wide smooth surface fixed on the FRP base, and the contact carbon brush closely matches the grinding surface under the action of spring stress. The hand wheel drives the carbon brush to regulate the voltage on the enameled wire grinding surface, and the standard product regulator is vertical with a safety ventilation cover on the outside.

- The variable carbon brush is connected to the a-end of U2, and the output voltage of U2 becomes lower when the carbon brush moves to the X-end, and the output voltage of U2 becomes higher when the carbon brush moves to the a-end.

Warning: U1 is the power input and U2 is the power output, and the sets of terminals cannot be reversed, otherwise the equipment will be damaged.

SERVICE CONDITIONS

● The average ambient temperature is +40 degrees Celsius to -15 degrees Celsius. ● The pressure regulator should not be installed more than 1000m above sea level, with 90% relative humidity of the air. ● The power supply voltage wave type is a sine wave. ● It should be used in an environment free of explosive and corrosive substances such as gas, smoke, chemical dirt, and dust discharge. ● The site of use should be free of severe vibration and water immersion. ● Two or more devices are not allowed to be used in parallel. ● When using under special conditions that do not meet the above conditions, please contact our customer service.

Note:

- This product has a built-in temperature protection switch. When the internal temperature of the machine exceeds about 100 degrees Celsius, the machine will automatically turn off the voltage output, and the output will be automatically restored when the internal temperature of the machine is lower than about 85 degrees Celsius.

- When the machine automatically shuts off the output during use, please check whether the current used has exceeded the rated current of the machine, otherwise the machine will always be in the cycle of auto shutdown and automatic start.

- Most of the machines are equipped with overload protectors. When it is used improperly, the overload protector will automatically jump out and turn off the voltage output. At this time, please check whether the load is short-circuited or seriously over-rated current, and after confirming that it is correct, you can press the reset button of the overload protector by hand and the equipment will restart working.

- In use, if the device suddenly stops working, and after resetting the overload protector and waiting for the temperature of the device to drop, the device still cannot work normally, at this time, please take out the

fuse of the device and replace the current fuse in the device with the attached fuse in the package.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

● During normal operation, the regulator should be checked regularly with a charcoal brush and make sure that the brush and parts won't be more than the wide of two wires. ● Connect the ground wire to the case of the device. When you're done using it, turn the hand wheel pointer to the "zero" position and cut power.
