Important:
Before using the appliance for the first time, carefully read this instruction manual and save it for future reference. Also save the warranty statement.
Attention: Before connecting the appliance to the power mains, make sure it rests for at least 2 hours. Failure to do so may result in compressor failure.
The appliance should be transported in an upright position.
Danger
Make sure the appliance is standing in an upright position on a level surface, and that there is at least a 15-centimetre clearance between the appliance and other objects and walls adjacent to it, to allow adequate ventilation. Do not cover the ventilation slots. Do not move or
cover the appliance during operation. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands. Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid.
After use and before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power mains.
Do not wash the appliance with water hotter than 80°C.
Warning
Before connecting the appliance to the power mains, make sure the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance matches the voltage of the power mains in your home.
Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cord, or any other component is damaged.
If the power cord is damaged, it may only be replaced by Gorenje,
Gorenje's authorized service and repair center, or an adequately trained professional.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised during the use of the appliance or if they have been provided relevant instructions regarding the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Do not let the children play with the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance to operate unattended. If you leave the room
where the appliance is located, disconnect the appliance from the power mains.
Attention: The appliance is intended solely for personal household use.
Do not use the appliance outdoors. Keep the appliance away from sources of heat such as cookers, ovens or heaters. Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight. Do not use the appliance in a room with high humidity. Do not use spare parts by other manufacturers unless they are expressly recommended by Gorenje. In case of use of such non-original attachments or accessories, the warranty shall be void.
Before switching on the appliance, make sure all components are correctly installed.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power mains after use.
Attention: Only use clean water without any additives for making ice cubes.
This equipment is labelled in compliance with the European Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electric and electronic equipment - WEEE. The Directive specifies the requirements for collection and management of waste electric and electronic equipment effective in the entire European Union.
Preparation for use
- Remove the packaging.
- Clean the appliance as instructed in the section "Cleaning".
- Fill the water tank up to the MAX marking with clean uncontaminated water. Water in the tank should not reach the ice basket.
Fill the appliance with water at room temperature.
Use
Upon first use, it is recommended for hygienic reasons to discard the ice cubes made from the first two cycles.








After connecting the appliance to the power mains, the indicator on the POWER button will flash in red. Flashing of the indicator means that the appliance is in standby mode. Press the
button to start the appliance. The indicator will be lit continuously. If you press the POWER button at any time during operation, the appliance will switch back to standby mode and the indicator will start flashing.

Use the SELECT button to choose the size of the ice cubes. The indicators above S (small) and L (large) indicate the selected option.

If the indicator above the ICE FULL sign is lit, the ice basket is filled to capacity. When the maximum amount of
ice has been reached, the appliance will switch to standby mode. Remove the ice from the basket to restart it.

If the indicator above the ADD WATER sign is lit, there is not enough water in the water tank. When there is not enough water in the water tank, the appliance will switch to standby mode.
To restart the appliance, remove the ice basket and add water up to the MAX sign and press POWER.
Depending on the temperature of the environment and water, the first ice cubes may be smaller.
Due to rapid freezing of the water, the cubes may appear cloudy or opaque. This is a result of the air trapped inside the ice and it does not affect the quality of the ice.
After the appliance has been switched to standby mode, wait for at least 3 minutes before starting its operation. Failure to do so may result in compressor failure.
Replace the water in the water tank at least every 24 hours.
To prevent the development of mould and bacteria, we recommend leaving the cover open after use (7).
Cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance, stop its operation and disconnect it from the power mains.
Do not clean the appliance with scouring pads, caustic or corrosive cleaners, or aggressive liquids such as alcohol, gasoline, or acetone.
Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth. Do not submerge the unit in water, and do not clean it under running water or in a dishwasher.
Ice basket: Clean the basket with lukewarm water and some liquid detergent; then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Water tank: Use the drain (11) to empty the water tank.
Appliance interior and exterior (housing): Clean the appliance interior and exterior with a soft damp cloth. A diluted mixture of water and vinegar may be used.

The appliance is switched on by pressing the «POWER» («BOIL») button. The indicator will light up.
The indicator indicates that the appliance is in the boiling mode. Press the button to start the appliance. The indicator will light up. You can press the «POWER» («BOIL») button at any time during operation; it will switch to the boiling mode and the indicator will light up.

Use the SELECT («SELECT») button to select the size of ice cubes. The indicators S (small) and L (large) indicate
the selected parameter.

The indicator light
labeled «ICE FULL» («ICE FULL»)
indicates that the ice
container is full. After reaching the maximum amount of ice, the appliance will switch to the boiling mode. Remove the ice from the container to continue operation of the appliance.

The indicator light labeled «ADD WATER» («ADD WATER») indicates insufficient water in the reservoir. If there is
not enough water in the reservoir, the appliance will switch to the boiling mode. To resume operation, remove the ice cube tray and fill the reservoir with water up to the «MAX» («MAXIMUM LEVEL») mark and press the «POWER» («BOIL») button.
Depending on the water and air temperature, the first batch of ice cubes may be smaller.
Replace the water in the cube container if it becomes cloudy or opaque. Take care not to spill it on the device and do not affect its operation.
Before first use, run the device in idle mode for about 3 minutes. Failure to follow this rule may lead to compressor failure.
Replace the water in the reservoir every 24 hours.
To fill the water after use and to prevent bacteria after using the device, it is recommended to leave the lid open (7).
Cleaning
Before cleaning the device, turn it off and disconnect it from the power supply.
Do not use abrasive sponges, caustic or aggressive agents, or solvents for cleaning the device. For cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water and do not wash it under running water or in a dishwasher.
Brush for the device. The brush should be washed with warm water and a mild detergent; then rinse and dry.
Water reservoir. Use the drain valve (11) to empty the water reservoir.
Internal and external parts of the device (body). To clean the internal and external parts of the device, use a soft, damp cloth. You can use a diluted solution of water and detergent.
Troubleshooting
Do not allow children to play with the device!
Do not leave the device running unattended.
When leaving the room, disconnect from the power supply.
Attention! The device is intended for household use only.
If the water level in the tank is insufficient, the ADD WATER indicator lights up. If there is not enough water, the appliance stops automatically.
To resume operation, remove the basket, add water up to the MAX mark, and press the POWER button.
Depending on the water temperature and the ambient temperature, the first ice cubes may be smaller.
Due to rapid freezing, the ice cubes may be cloudy. This is caused by air bubbles in the freezing water and does not affect the quality of the ice.
Before turning on the appliance, let it stand for a while so that the refrigerant settles. This will help avoid compressor damage.
Change the water in the reservoir every 24 hours. To prevent the growth of mold and bacteria, it is recommended to leave the transparent lid open after use (7).
Cleaning
Before cleaning, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply (remove the plug from the socket).
For cleaning the appliance, do not use rough sponges or aggressive cleaning agents such as alcohol, gasoline, or acetone.
Clean the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water, do not rinse it with water, and do not put it in the dishwasher.
Ice basket: wash the basket with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent, then let it dry.
Water reservoir: drain the water through the spout (11).
Inner and outer surfaces: wipe the inner and outer surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a small amount of vinegar.

For first use, according to hygiene principles, it is recommended to discard the first two batches of ice cubes.








After plugging the appliance into the mains, the ON/OFF button and the indicator light will illuminate. The light
of the indicator means that the appliance is in standby mode. Press the button to start the appliance. The indicator light will stay on continuously. If you press the button at any time during operation, the appliance will switch back to standby mode and the indicator light will start to flash.

Use the SELECT button to choose the size of the ice cubes. The indicators above S (small) and L (large) show the selected size.

If the indicator above the symbol FULL is lit, the ice basket is full. When the maximum amount of ice is reached, the appliance will switch to standby mode. Remove the ice to restart the appliance.

If the indicator above the symbol ADD WATER is lit, there is enough water in the tank. When there is enough water in the tank, the appliance will switch to standby mode. To restart
the appliance, remove the ice basket and add water up to the MAX mark, then press the ON/OFF button.
Depending on the ambient temperature and the water temperature, the first batch of ice cubes may be smaller.
Due to rapid freezing of the water, the cubes may appear matte. This is a result of the freezing process and does not affect the quality of the ice.
After the appliance has switched to standby mode, wait at least 3 minutes before starting operation. Otherwise, the compressor may be damaged.
Change the water in the tank at least every 24 hours.
To prevent the growth of mold and bacteria, it is recommended to leave the lid open after use (7).
