Use of the device

Before using for the first time, fill the „ettle with cle·n w·ter to its m·ximum c·p·city ·nd boil the w·ter. Then dr·in the w·ter ·nd repe·t the process · second time. The „ettle is now re·dy for use.

Remove the „ettle lid, •lw•ys fill your „ettle between the “MIN” •nd “MAX” m•r„s on the product. Pl•ce the b•se of the „ettle on •fl•t, dry, level surf•ce. Pl•ce your „ettle on the b•se •nd close the lid securely. Plug in the „ettle •nd press down the on/off button. The „ettle will light up blue •nd the w•ter will st•rt to boil. When the w•ter boils, the „ettle will switch off •utom•tic•lly •nd the light will go out.

An automatic safety cut-out has been fitted for protection against overheating, it will operate if the kettle is switched on when containing insufficient water.

If the automatic safety cut-out has operated, switch the kettle off, disconnect from the power outlet and allow the kettle to cool down for á to 10 minutes before using it again.

èleaning and maintenance

M•,e sure the •ppli•nce is unplugged from the supply soc,,et •nd fully cooled down before cle•ning. To cle•n the exterior surf•ces, slightly wipe over with • soft d•mp cloth.

To cle•n the inner w•lls of the „ettle, use • soft d•mp cloth or • soft brush to remove the residues on the filter. Note: Never use •br•sive product

The •ppli•nce h•s to be desc•led regul•rly to ensure optimum perform•nce. The frequency depends on the w•ter h•rdness •nd the boiling frequency.

If you begin to notice the incre·se of the noise during boiling, or if the „ettle switches off before w·ter being boiled, this indic·tes th·t desc·ling is necess·ry.

Gener•Ily, the desc•ling should be done in the following periodicity:

• With soft w·ter, ·t le·st once every 6 months.
• With h·rd w·ter, ·t le·st once every 3 months.

You c•n use • dec•lcifying product (in this c•se re•d the instructions supplied with the product c•refully) or diluted white vineg•r (one p•rt vineg•r to three p•rts w•ter).

After the desc·ling, rinse the inner of the „ettle thoroughly with cle·n w·ter.
