How to use my kettle for the first time?

Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum level, bring it to a boil, then empty the water. Repeat the operation a second time. The kettle is then ready for use.

What to do if the kettle does not turn on?

Check that the base is properly plugged into a power outlet and that the kettle is correctly placed on its base. Also ensure there is enough water (above the MIN level). If the safety circuit breaker has tripped, wait 5 to 10 minutes after unplugging before trying again.

How to descale my kettle?

Use a commercial descaling product following the instructions, or diluted white vinegar (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water). Bring the solution to a boil, let it sit, then rinse several times with clean water. Regular descaling (every 3 to 6 months) extends the life of the appliance.

Why is my kettle making noise?

Excessive noise during boiling is often due to a buildup of limescale. Perform descaling (see previous question). Normal gurgling noise is usual when water heats up.

How to clean the outside of the kettle?

Unplug the kettle and let it cool completely. Wipe the outside with a soft, damp cloth. Never use abrasive products or scouring pads. Never immerse the kettle or its base in water.

Can I heat something other than water?

No, this kettle is designed only for heating water. Never heat milk, soup, or other liquids, as this could damage the appliance or cause burns.

The kettle stops before the water boils, why?

This may be due to a lack of water or a safety circuit breaker that activated due to overheating. Check the water level between MIN and MAX. If the problem persists, descale the kettle or contact after-sales service.

How to change the kettle filter?

The plastic filter located in the spout can be gently removed. Clean it under running water with a soft brush, or replace it if necessary. For a replacement filter, visit livoo.fr.

My kettle is leaking, what to do?

Check that the lid is properly closed and that the water level does not exceed the MAX mark. A leak may also be due to a poorly fitted filter or a damaged seal. If the leak persists, stop using the appliance and contact after-sales service.

What is the capacity of the kettle?

The maximum capacity is approximately 1.7 litres. Do not fill beyond the MAX mark to avoid boiling water overflow.
