The concrete grinder is indented for professional useó
With an appropriate grinding wheelω the tool may be used for smoothing rough concreteω removing mould seamsω residual mudω joint fillers and tile adhesivesó
If the mains cable gets damaged or cut during the use do not touch it but instantly pull the plug out of the socketó Never use the tool with damaged mains cableó

The tool must neither be wet nor used in humid environmentó
- Do not use the tool in an environment with danger of explosionó
- Do not drill into asbestos containing materialsó
■ Modifications of the tool are prohibitedó - Never use the machine without dust guardó
Use machine with partly removed dust guard in corners onlyó
Always check the toolω cable and plug before use and plug before useó Have damages only repaired by specialistsó
Insert the plug into the socket only when the tool switch is offó
- When you work outside the machine has to be used with a fault current circuit breaker with maxó oπ mAó
The machine should only work under supervision of somebodyó
Plug and switch the machine off if it is not under supervisionω in case of putting up and stripping down the machineω in case of voltage drop or when fixing or mounting an accessoryó
- Switch the machine off if it stops for whatever reasonó You avoid that it starts suddenly and not under supervisionó
- Don't use the machine if a part of the housing is damaged or in case of damages on the switch the cable or plugó
- Pay attention that the speed indicated on the grinding wheel meets or is higher than the maxó speed indicated on the machineó
-
Grinding wheels have to be stored and used carefully according to the instructions of the produceró
-
Check the accessories before useó Do not use any products which are brokenω cracked or damaged in another wayó
■ Before useω make sure that the tool is correctly fixed and fastenedó Let it run idle for about 0π seconds in a safe positionó If considerable vibrations occur or if other defects are recognisedω switch off immediatelyó - Always lead the mains and extension cable as well as the extraction hose to the back away from the machineó
- Power tools have to be inspected by a specialist in regular intervalsó

Close-up of a black electronic component with red light and directional arrows, no visible text or symbolsThe EBS 125.4 RO is equipped with an adjusting wheel in order to allow a stepless variable control of speed from γπππ to εππππ rpmó The adjusting wheel is on the top side of the handle opposite of the onuoff switchó
A permanent use with reduced speed can cause an overload because the motor then gets less cooling air and therefore the machine will be overheated much fasteró A thermal switchtoff can be released!

Dust which occurs during your work is hazardous to healthó That is why the EBS 125.4 O/RO must be used with a vacuum cleanerω and a dust mask has to be wornó The suitable WetuDry Vacuum Cleaner (dust category M) is available as accessoryó It can directly be attached to the connection on the dust hoodó
k hanging the brush rim
If the length of the brushes is – due to wear τ smaller than η mm (extreme formation of dust during grinding)ω the brush rim has to be replaced completelyó
ΙάοδηΕδΑσά Νσς ξοΗ
Switch the machine on and put it carefully on the surface you want to work onó Hold the tool with both hands and work with circular or linear movementsó For best working resultsα Don't put too much pressure on the surface you
want to work onó
For grinding works right into edges of the wall one segment of the dust guard can be openedó This allows grinding on surfaces which are usually hard to reachó

In order to protect the operatorω motor and the toolω the concrete grinders are equipped with an electronic and thermal overload protectionó
Electronica In case of overload caused by a grinding pressure which is too highω the electronics react by decreasing the speed of the machineó You can continue working when the grinding pressure has been reducedó f you don't relief the
pressure on the machine or put furthermore too much pressure on the tool it reacts by witching OFF the machineó After automatic switchOFF of the machine you can continue working after switching OFF and ON the power tool againó
Thermalα In case of permanent overloadω a thermal sensor protects the motor against destructionó In this caseω the tool switches off automatically and can only be restarted after a certain cooling period (approxó ζ minutes)ó Actuate the ONuOFF switch! The cooling period depends on the heating of the motor winding and the ambient temperatureó

Repairs may be executed only by appropriately qualified and experienced personneló After every repair the machine has to be inspected by an electric specialistó Due to its designω the power tool needs a minimum of care and maintenanceó The following works have to be carried out or rather the component parts have to be inspectedα
■ Always keep the power tool and the ventilation slots cleanó
- During workω please pay attention that no particles get inside the machineó
- In case of failure a repair has to be carried out by an authorised service workshopó
To avoid damages on transportationω the power tool has to be delivered in a sturdy packingó Packaging as well as unit and accessories are made of recyclable materials and can be disposed accordinglyó The tool's plastic components are marked according to their materialω which makes it possible to remove environmental friendly and differentiated because of available collection facilitiesó

natural_image
Simple line drawing of a trash bin with no text or symbolsDo not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material!
In observance of the European Directive ȘȚĂȘUȘEȘUȘEU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation in accordance with national lawo electric tools that have reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facilityó
The indication of noise emission is measured according to DIN δη γοηω part ζεό The level of acoustic pressure on the work place could exceed λη dB (A); in this case protection measures must be takenó

WHaç Haç τσδΗΕδοςο!
The typical handtarm vibration is below çón musó
Measured values determined according to EN γπ íδηό
The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tooló However if the tool is used for different applicationsω with different accessories or poorly maintainedω the vibration emission may differó This may significantly increase the exposure level over the total working period An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the jobó This may significantly reduce the exposure level over the total working periodó Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration such asα maintain the tool and the accessoriesω keep the hands warmω organisation of work patternsó
Dηοδ τσσδΗΕδΑσά
Dust from material such as paint containing leadω some wood speciesω minerals and metal may be harmfuló Contact with or inhalation of the dust may cause allergic reactions and/or respiratory diseases to the operator or bystandersó Certain kinds of dust are classified as carcinogenic such as oak and beech dust especially in conjunction with additives for wood conditioning (chromateω wood preservative)ó Material containing asbestos must only be treated by specialistsó
- Where the use of a dust extraction device is possible it shall be usedó
- To achieve a high level of dust collection use industrial vacuum cleaner (dust category M) for wood and/or minerals together with this tooló
- The work place must be well ventilatedó
- The use of a dust mask of filter class Pζ is recommendedó
Wασσαάδυ
According to our general terms of delivery for business dealingsω suppliers have to provide to companies a warranty period of ες months for redhibitory defects (to be documented by invoice or delivery note)ó
Damages due to natural wearω overstressing or improper handling are excluded from this warrantyó Damages due to material defects or production faults shall be eliminated free of charge by either repair or replacementó Complaints will be accepted only if the tool is returned in nonrdismantled condition to the manufacturer or an authorized Eibenstock service centreó
