We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use

This product is intended for normal use.
This product is only suitable for private use in dry indoor locations, e.g. in storeroom or
corridor. The product is not intended for commercial use or for use in other applications. For indoor use only!
This product is not suitable for household room illumination.

Safety instructions
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use! When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents!


WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children
unsupervised with the packaging material.
Always keep children away from the packaging material.
This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking experience and/or knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products.
- Do not use the product if you detect any type of damage.
- Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids!
- Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the product yourself. The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
■ The Illuminants are not replaceable.
If the Illuminants fail at the end of their lifes, the entire product must be replaced.
■ Dispose of the product when the product, the USB cable 10 are damaged.
■ Ensure the USB ca10 cannot become damaged by sharp edges or hot objects. Unwind the USB cable 10 completely before use.
■ Protect the product from extreme heat and cold.
The USB cal10 provided is only suitable for use with the product.
■ LEDs are very bright, therefore do not look directly into the product.

Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries
■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
■ Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/
rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
- Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
- Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries
- Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.
If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked
or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. The removal or replacement of the rechargeable battery may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery.
Before use
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.
● Charging the product
Note: The product cannot be charged at temperatures below 0 °C and above 45 °C according to the battery protection.
Note: Fully charge the product before first use.
Note: It is recommended to use the product within 3 months after purchase.
Note: You can recharge the product by using the USB cable 10 provided with the specified input voltage and current (see "Technical data").
Note: Use only SELV power supply of maximum working output voltage 5V== (Uout) 1A.
☐ Insert the USB (type C) connector of the USB cable 10 into the USB input socket (type C) 7 of the product.
☐ Then insert the USB plug of the USB cable 10 into the USB port on USB power supply.
Note: For HG12250A: the USB input socket (type C) 7 is hidden in the lamp (Fig. B). Please extend the lamp completely before charging.
Note: Pay attention to the distance between the lamp and USB power supply because USB cable 10 length is approx. 1 m.
Note: During charging, the charging indicator 8 lights up red. When charging is complete, the charging indicator 8 lights up green. When the charging indicator 8 is green, pull out the USB cable 10 from the USB input socket (type C) 7 of the product to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging.
Note: Fully charged the battery before storage. If you want to store the product for longer than 3 months, fully charge the battery every 3 months.

Use light functions
The product has two light functions which can also be used simultaneously.
☐ Switch the spotlight 1 on and off by pressing the ON/OFF switch 2 (Fig. A).
☐ Switch on the side light 6 by extending it from the handle 3 (Fig. A). Switch it off by pushing it back into the handle 3.
Note: Only operate the side light 6 when the side light 6 is completely extended. Otherwise there is the risk of overheating!
● Fixing the product
The product can be used in 2 ways without having to hold it in your hand:
☐ Hold the magnet 5 at the bottom against a metallic magnetic surface. The product remains in this position.
☐ Fold out the hook 4 to suspend the product from a suitable suspension point.
Note: When hanging up the product, it must be ensured that the selected location is suitable for the weight of the product.
● Functions for model HG12250B
Use light functions
☐ Switch on the side light 6 by pressing the ON/OFF switch 2 (Fig. A).
☐ Press the ON/OFF switch 2 again, the side light 6 will off and the spotlight 1 will on at the same time.
☐ Press the ON/OFF switch 2 again to switch off the product.
● Fixing the product
The product can be used in 2 ways without having to hold it in your hand:
☐ Hold the magnet 5 at the back or the magnetic base 9 against a metallic magnetic surface. The product remains in this position. You can tilt the product up to 180° on the magnetic base 9.
⚠️ CAUTION! Please note the position of your hands whilst turning the magnetic base ⑨ to prevent pinching your fingers (see Fig. B).
☐ Fold out the hook 4 to suspend the product from a suitable suspension point. The hook 4 can be turned through 360°.
Note: When hanging up the product, it must be ensured that the selected location is suitable for the weight of the product.
● Maintenance and cleaning
The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
■ Switch off the product and disconnect from the USB power supply before cleaning.
■ Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
■ Never use caustic cleaners.
☐ Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stubborn dirt.
- Disposal
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed of through your local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and fibreboard/80–98: composite materials.
Product:

The product incl. accessories, manual and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility.
Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment.
The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your wornout product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled. Return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!
Remove the batteries / battery pack from the product before disposal.
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
● Warranty and service
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.
For this product, rechargeable battery is also covered by warranty

So that your request can be processed quickly, please observe the following instructions:
For all inquiries, please have the receipt and item number (e.g., IAN 465938_2404) ready as proof of purchase.
The article number can be taken from the identification label on the product, engraving on the product, the front cover of your manual (at the bottom left), or the sticker on the back or bottom of the product.
If malfunctions or other defects arise, first contact the service department indicated below by phone or email.
You can then send a product recorded as defective to the communicated service address postage-free, making sure to enclose proof of purchase (receipt) and information on the details of the defect and when it occurred.
