They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

- Intended use

This product is intended for normal use. This product is only intended for private use in both indoor and outdoor areas without an electrical connection, such as in storage areas or when camping. This product is not intended for commercial use or for other applications.

This product is not suitable for household room illumination.

This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products.
Do not use the product if you detect any kind of damage.
- Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids!
Do not modify or repair the product. The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
The Illuminants are not replaceable.
If the Illuminants fail at the end of their life, the entire product must be replaced.
■ Dispose of the product if the product or the USB cable 8 is damaged.
■ Ensure that the USB cable 8 cannot become damaged by sharp edges or hot objects. Unwind the USB cable 8 completely before use.
■ Protect the product from extreme heat and cold.
■ The included USB cable 8 is only suitable for use with this product.

- Before use

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

- Charging the product

Note: Only charge up the product in indoor areas.

Note: The product cannot be charged at temperatures below 0^ C and above 45^ C according to the battery protection.

Note: You can charge up the product using the USB cable 8 that is included. Regarding input voltage and current, please refer to the chapter "Technical data".

Note: You must charge the battery before use. The charging process takes about 3 to 4 hours.

Note: Only use the SELV power supply with a maximum working output voltage 5 V= (Uout) 1 A.

☐ Plug the USB type C connector on the USB cable 8 into the USB connection socket (type C) 6 on the product.

□ Afterwards, insert the USB plug on the USB cable 8 into the USB port on USB power supply.

Note: Pay attention to the distance between the product and USB power supply as the USB cable 8 is only about 50 cm in length.

Note: During charging, the charge indicator 7 lights up in red. The charge indicator 7 lights up green when charging is complete. When the charge indicator 7 is green, disconnect the USB cable 8 from the USB connection socket (type C) 6 on the product so that the battery does not discharge.

Note: Close the protective cap 5 before using the product. If this is not done then water could penetrate into the product if it is used outdoors.

Note: Fully charged the battery before storage. If you wish to store the product for longer than 3 months, fully charge the battery every 3 months.

● Hanging/setting up the product

You can hang up or set up the product if you do not want to hold it:

☐ Fold out the hook 4 to hang up the product in a suitable place.

Note: When hanging up the product, ensure that the chosen place is appropriate when considering the weight of the product.

☐ Fold out the three-legged base 3 so that the product can stand up when on the floor (see Fig. B).

CAUTION! Please note the position of your hands when opening up and closing the three-legged base 3 to prevent pinching your fingers (see Fig. C).

Operation

The product can be operated in two different modes that are selected by repeated pressing of the ON/OFF button 2:

Press once: The side light 1 lights up at full power.

Press twice: The side light power. 1 lights up at low

Press three times: The product is switched off.

● Maintenance and cleaning

The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced.

■ Switch off the product and disconnect from the USB power supply before cleaning.

■ Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.

■ Never use caustic cleaners.

☐ Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly moistened cloth to remove any stubborn dirt.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and fibreboard/80–98: composite materials.

The product incl. accessories and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility. Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!

Batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

- Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.

Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.

Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.

This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to

normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.

For this product, rechargeable battery is also covered by warranty.

To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:

Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN 444167_2307) available as proof of purchase.

You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.

If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail. You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
