How to Use

The mouse can be connected to computer via 2.4 GHz mode or Bluetooth mode.

Connecting to computer via 2.4 GHz mode

1. Open the battery compartment cover as illustrated.

1. Take out the dongle and plug it into a USB port on the computer. The mouse has been pre-paired with the dongle when leaving the factory.

1. Install the AA battery properly as illustrated, and toggle the on/off switch to the 2.4 GHz mode to turn on the mouse. The indicator will keep on for 3 seconds and then go out, indicating that the mouse is connected to the computer successfully.

2. When there is a pop-up on your computer to notify you that the mouse is ready for use; you can close the battery compartment cover and start using the mouse.

Connecting to computer via Bluetooth mode

1. Open the battery compartment cover to install the AA battery into the mouse, and toggle the on/off switch to Bluetooth mode. The mouse enters the Bluetooth pairing mode, and the indicator of the mouse starts blinking quickly, indicating that the mouse is waiting for a Bluetooth connection, which will last 3 minutes.

Note: if the mouse has been connected to other devices and needs to be connected to a new device, under the Bluetooth mode simultaneously press and hold the forward button and the backward button for more than 5 seconds. Then the mouse will wait for a Bluetooth connection.

1. In the Windows operating system, right-click the Bluetooth icon in the toolbar and click "Add a Bluetooth device" to open the "Bluetooth and other devices" panel, or select "Settings > Devices". Then click "Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth > MI DMMS2" to complete the connection.

In the macOS operating system, open "System Settings" and click Bluetooth, then select the "MI DMMS2" from the device list and click "Connect". Follow the onscreen instructions to finish pairing.

1. When there is a pop-up on your computer to notify you that the mouse is ready for use, you can start using the mouse.

2. When you use the mouse again via Bluetooth mode, it will automatically connect to the last paired device.

Notes:

• Make sure the computer to be connected supports Bluetooth and its Bluetooth function is enabled.
- Wireless signals between your computer and the mouse may be susceptible to interference. It is recommended to change to the 2.4 GHz mode when the Bluetooth connection is unstable.

Blinks orange slowly	Low battery level.Note: Replace the battery as soon as possible.

Battery Safety & Warnings

• Only use the battery approved by the manufacturer. Replacing with an incorrect battery type may invalidate the battery safety protection and cause a fire, or oven an explosion.
• Keep the battery away from extreme heat sources, such as sunlight, fire, microwave, or oven. Failure to do so may lead to leakage of flammable liquid or gas, or even an explosion.
• Do not disassemble, strike, crush or cut the battery to avoid possible explosions.
• Do not subject the battery to extremely low air pressure as it might lead to leakage of flammable liquid or gas, or even an explosion.
• Stop using the battery immediately if there is any swelling.

• Do not swallow the battery to avoid chemical burns.

• If you think the battery may have been swallowed or may stay in any part of your or someone else's body, seek medical attention immediately.

• Stop using the mouse and keep it out of reach of children if the battery compartment is not closed securely.
• Keep new or used batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not dispose of used batteries with household waste. Dispose of them in a safe manner as per local laws and regulations.
