General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

  • Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
  • Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
    • Always place the appliance on to the flat and even surface.
  • This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use.
  • Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
  • The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.
  • Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
  • Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
  • Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

  • Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
  • Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
  • Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
  • Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  • Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

Instructions to follow when using the appliance

  • Your supply socket must be properly earthed.
  • Clean the water container before the first usage.
  • During use, the product must be located in a position, which is not easily reached by children, and the cover should be securely closed to avoid spillage of boiling water.
  • This product should only be used to boil water. Please do not boil other liquids such as milk and coffee.
  • Fill with water according to the pre-set water level with minimum level at "MIN" and maximum level at "MAX".
  • Switch off and unplug from the outlet before filling, emptying or cleaning, or when not in use.
  • If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
  • Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near hot surfaces (such as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
  • Avoid touching the surface of the hot kettle, use the handle and knobs.
  • To avoid possible steam damage, do not face the spout when operating the kettle.
  • If operated on wood furniture, use a protective pad to prevent damage to delicate finishes.
  • To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid is correctly positioned before operation.

  • Scalding may occur if the lid is removed while heating.

  • Carefully open the lid when it is hot.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle containing hot water. Never lift the kettle by its lid. Always use the body handle.
  • Do not switch your kettle on if it is empty.
  • To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this kettle, power base or cord set in any liquid.
  • To protect against fire, do not operate it in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
  • Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water; the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
  • Avoid spillage on the connector.
  • To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
  • A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
  • The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
  • Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

The display shows the real time temperature and the 40^ C, 60^ C, 90^ C and 100^ C setting lights will be on. The default temperature for the kettle is already set on to the 100^ C and then program on 100^ C starts flashing. To select any another option kindly press “+” or “-” During the temperature selection process, the selected temperature light keep flashing and the other light stays on.

NoteIn all cases and situations of uses of warm and hot water mentioned below, the water must be transferred in a safe way to another container. And then the water can be used for the purpose you require. For example, do not dip the baby bottle directly into the kettle when temperature reaches 40°C even if you have switched off the kettle
40°CThis temperature function can be used to warm baby milk. Note: Do not warm the milk directly, use the warm water at this temperature to warm milk in baby bottle
60°CThis temperature function can be used to brew the honey. Note: Use the warm water to brew the honey at this temperature
90°C This temperature function can be used to make the tea and infusions.
100°CThis is the normal temperature to fully boil the water

KEEP WARM: After temperature selecting, press" keep warm" button, the display will only show the selected temperature and light will be turned on.

The kettle starts working, After the water boils to the selected temperature, there will be a long-beep and it will automatically enter into keep warm stage. After 4-hours of keeping warm, the buzzer will beep 3 times, all the lights will off to end the keep warm stage, the kettle go into standby stage.

"START-STOP": After temperature selecting, press" START-STOP" button, the display will only show the selected temperature and the selected light on only. The kettle starts working, After the water is boiled to the selected temperature, the buzzer will beep 3 times, all the lights will go off, the kettle enters into standby mode.

BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE

If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before use by boiling the water and then discarding twice with max. quantity. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.

NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.7L.

BOIL-DRY PROTECTION

Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the function of boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool prior to filling with cold water before re-boiling.

USING YOUR ELECTRIC KETTLE

  1. Place the kettle on the flat surface.

  2. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and remove the lid handle to open the lid, then fill the kettle with the desired amount of water and close the lid. The water level must be within the Min and

the Max level. Too little water will cause the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.

NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.

  1. Position the kettle on the power base.

  2. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.

NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald, besides, don't open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.

  1. The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.

NOTE: Always disconnect the power supply when not use.

- Position the kettle base on a dry and flat surface and away from any potential heat source.

- Unwind the length of cord required to reach the mains electrical outlet. Ensure the cord does not hang over the work surface edge

- Remove the kettle from the base

- Open the lid. Fill the kettle with cool water, between the MIN and MAX markings located inside the kettle.

- Close the lid and place the kettle back onto its base. Make sure that the lid is securely closed before boiling. Note: Always remove the kettle from its base before filling. Do not fill the kettle above the MAX mark or below the MIN mark on the water gauge.

- Plug the kettle into the mains electrical outlet.

- Press the power switch and its indicator will light up, and then the kettle starts to boil the water. Once you have made your touch-control selection as mentioned above in to the control description, the kettle will sound with notification tone, indicating that the selected function is about to start.

Once kettle arrives its selected temperature it starts heating the water and once finished kettle switch off automatically.

Note:

  1. When the kettle enters into temperature selection stage, if there is no operation within 1 minute, the buzzer will sound 3 times, All lights will go off, and the product enters the standby state.

  2. The display should always display the real-time temperature after power on.

  3. The default selection is 100^ C after power on;

  4. After entering the working state, you can only exit the program by pressing the "START-STOP" key.

- There will be ± 5^ tolerance different from the setting temperature.

- During operation, the digital display will illuminate with real time temperature and count up as the water temperature increases.

The digital display will also countdown in real time as the water temperature decreases.

NOTE: Ensure that switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed, the kettle will not turn off if the switch if be constrained or if the lid is opening.

- The kettle will switch off automatically and the indicator will turn off once the water has boiled. If necessary, it will take you 30 seconds to wait before pressing the power switch again to re-boil the water. You may shut off the power by directly lifting the kettle from the power base at any moment to stop boiling process.

- Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.

NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scalding, besides, don't open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.

- The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.

NOTE: Always disconnect from the power supply when not in use.

NOTE: You can stop the kettle boiling or keep warm process at any time by pressing the START-STOP button

- Should you lift the kettle from its base during a functions cycle and place it back on to the base the kettle will enter standby mode and not resume the pre-selected function cycle. The screen will display the real temperature of the water on the digital tube. Please do not add water into the kettle during a boiling or keep warm cycle. Always ensure to remove the kettle from the base before pouring.

- When the water has boiled (without using the keep warm cycle) the kettle will enter standby mode and its display will turn off approximately 30 seconds. To activate the appliance, press any button.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down completely before cleaning.

  1. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
  2. Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.
    ⚠️CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.
  3. When not use or storage, the power cord may be wound under the power base.

REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS

Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on the bottom of kettle so as to cause the operation less efficiency. You can use the commercially available de-scaler and follow the instructions on the package of de-scaler. Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using the white vinegar.

  1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount so as to cover the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
  2. Then discard the mixture in the kettle, then filling the kettle with clean water to the maximum position, boiling and then discard the water. Repeat several times until the odour of vinegar has been flushes away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
