GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

I. Restrictions

• Never immerse the device or the charging cable-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the speaker falling in water take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not place or operate the device on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or irreparable damage to the product.
• Do not use the device for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not leave the device charging longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may damage the battery or the device itself.
• Do not use the device while in charge, otherwise it may also damage the device.
• Do not drop, disassemble, deform, modify or insert any objects into this product as operating damage may result.
• Do not attempt to repair, modify or disassemble the product yourself. This product does not contain any user-serviceable components and may void the warranty.

• Do not clean the product with alcohol, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive cleaners.

• Do not place this product in to contact with any sharp objects as this may cause scratches and operating damage.

• Do not attempt to replace the product battery, it is built-in and is not user changeable.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.

II. Precautions while using this device

• Keep the device away from direct sunlight, fire, or other high voltage equipment.
• WARNING: the device might get warm during charging. Always ensure the speaker is turned off when you plug and unplug the device. If the device is not turned off you might damage the speaker or injure yourself.
• Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switch off in designated areas.
• Dispose of the product and the product's battery in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• In case of speaker malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return it to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

1. CONTROL PANEL:

1.1 The button is for Adjustment of Brightness and also for TF mode.
1.2 The button is to reduce the Volume / to decrease Time Setting / For going to Previous Song.
1.3 The button is for Power ON/OFF, Play/Pause Music and Handsfree Calling.
1.4 The button is to increase the Volume / to decrease Time Setting / For going to Next Song.
1.5 The button is to Set or to Cancel the Alarm.

2. LED DISPLAY:

2.1 Time Display Area.
2.2 Bluetooth Mode Indicator (Bluetooth working).
2.3 TF Mode Indicator (TF card inserted).

3.CHARGINGPORTANDCHARGINGINDICATOR:

3.1 This device comes with a Type-C charging port (5V, DC).
3.2 A small, round shaped charging Indicator is provided just below the charging slot (as shown in the image).

(Tip: Red light indicates The device is charging whereas, Blue light indicates The device battery is fully charged).

4. TF CARD SLOT AND MICROPHONE:

4.1 This device comes with a TF card reader slot.
4.2 Microphone as a small round shaped hole is provided just above the TF card slot.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Device Function / Operation:

1. How to turn ON/OFF the device?

Press ⏻ key for 2 seconds to turn ON the device and Press the same key for 3 seconds to turn it OFF.

1. How to set the time?

No need to set it separately. Just Connect the device to your cell phone via bluetooth, the device will automatically synchronize your cell phone's time and day. (Tip: Some phones will prompt for permission authorization to allow the synchronization between your cellphone and the device).

1. How to charge the Bluetooth speaker clock?

The charging cable of the device is compatible with the normal USB slot power adaptor.

Keep the device plugged in charging for to ensure the device keeps working continuously. The built-in battery has overcharging protection and the device can work continuously for upto 7 hours with a fully charged battery (Play Music).

1. How to set alarm 1 and Alarm 2?

Press SET key Alarm 1 indicator is ON

Press SET key for 2s

Press +/-key to adjust hours number flashing

Long press SET key to save the settings.

Switching between the Four Clock Modes:

Short Press to switch between the clock modes.

1) If Indicator is on, it is Alarm 1 mode.

2) If Indicator is on, it is Alarm 2 mode.

3) If and indicators are on, it is Dual alarm mode.

4) If both the indicators are off, it is Time setting mode(No alarm mode). Note: The setup steps for the other modes are the same as for Alarm 1 mode.

1. How to turn off a ringing alarm?

Each Alarm is programmed with the snooze function, you get 5 minutes extra sleep time per snooze and upto total 3 snooze times. When the alarm rings for the first time, press any key to enter into the snooze function. If you need to stop the alarm, please press any key 3 times to stop the alarm.

1. How to cancel an alarm which has been set already?

Press the key to switch between the alarm modes.

Select No alarm mode which is when both the indicators (

and ② are off).

1. How to connect the bluetooth with the Cell phone?

Turn the clock ON, it will be automatically on Bluetooth

mode. When the bluetooth indicator is ON, find "SOGO

SS-8670" in your phone's bluetooth, connect to radio clock,

the password is "SOGO SS-8670".

1. How to adjust the speaker volume, switch the song and pause/play?

Short press keys adjust the speaker's volume, Long

press < keys to switch the song and press key to pause/play.

1. How to set the Display Brightness?

Short press to adjust the brightness of the Display light, 3 levels brightness can be adjusted according to your own comfort level.

1. Can the alarm ringtone be changed and the volume of the alarm be adjusted?

As the bluetooth speaker and alarm clock are 2 separate systems, only the volume of the bluetooth can be adjusted. The volume and ringtone of the alarm can not be changed also because the volume reaches 100-105 decibels and the alarm is loud for heavy sleepers.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

While cleaning the product, just use soft or dry cloth and in case of severe stains use the damp cloth.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, as it can damage the paint, plastic or even the speaker itself.

Keep it away from sun light and do not keep it in hot and humid atmosphere.

Make sure to remove the power adaptor cable and keep it in cool and dry place.

7. DISPOSAL OF ELECTRONIC GOODS

DISPOSAL OF BATTERY-OPERATED UNITS

Do not dispose the battery-operated units as normal rubbish, always these should be recycled in proper manner and according to the local municipal laws. You can recycle them by taking them to government authorized disposal centres or specialized bins which you can find in any nearby big super markets, electronics or electro domestics products stores or malls who have these types of facilities available.
