2. SYMBOLS DEFINITIONS

• DANGER: Indicates an imminently hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury. This symbol appears only in the most extreme situations.
• WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which could result in death or serious injury.
• CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, may result in minor/ moderate injury or product/property/ damage. It also warns against unsafe practices.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of insulated ‘dangerous voltage’ within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

I. Restrictions

• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not place or operate the Bluetooth speaker near water sources.
• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
• While using the appliance, make sure that the power cord must not be caught or crushed.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in

order to avoid Hazard.

- Never immerse the speaker or the charging cable-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the speaker falling in water take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.

- Do not place or operate the speaker on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.

- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or irreparable damage to the product.

- Do not use the speaker for any other purpose than described in this manual.

- Do not leave the speaker charging longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may damage the battery or the speaker itself.

- Do not use the speaker while in charge, otherwise it may also damage the speaker.

- This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform servicing. Take the product to the electronics repair shop of your choice for inspection and repair.

- NEVER let anyone, especially children, push anything into holes, slots or any other openings in the unit's casing as this could result in a fatal electric shock.

- Don't mount this product on a wall or ceiling.

- Do not place the unit near TVs, speakers and other objects that generate strong magnetic fields.

- Do not leave the unit unattended when it is in use.

NOTE: To disconnect the system completely if it not to be used for a long time, remove the AC power plug from the wall outlet.

- Do not drop, disassemble, deform, modify or insert any objects into holes of the speaker as it may result the product damage.

- Do not clean the product with alcohol, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive cleaners.

- Do not place this product in to contact with any sharp objects as this may cause scratches and operating damage.

- Do not attempt to replace the product battery, it is built-in and is not user changeable.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.

II. Precautions while during the usage of product

- This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.

- The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.

- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before

plugging in the appliance.

• In case of speaker malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return it to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
• In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
  • Always place the appliance on to the flat and even surface.
• When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.
• Make sure your hands are dry before plug or unplugging.

Keep the speaker away from direct sunlight, fire, or other high voltage equipment.

WARNING: the device might get warm during charging. Always ensure the speaker is turned off when you plug and unplug the device. If the device is not turned off you might damage the speaker or injure yourself.

- Place the unit where there is good ventilation. Place the system on a flat, hard and stable surface. Do not expose to temperatures above 40°C. Allow at least 30 cm clearance from the rear and the top of the unit and 5 cm from each side.

- Press the buttons of the unit gently. Pressing them too hard can damage the unit.

• Always ensure that the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before moving or cleaning. Clean it with dry cloth only.

• Unplug the product during lightning, storms or when it will not be used for long periods of time.
• Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switch off in designated areas.
• Dispose of the product and the product's battery in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• Dispose of used batteries in an environmental-responsible manner.

Top panel

This panel is located on the top part of the speaker, with multiple buttons and functions we can manage multiple things.

1. DC INPUT 9 V: To connect the Power adaptor to charge the speaker.
2. Power Switch: With the help of this button can switch on and switch off the unit.
3. Mode: Bluetooth / FM / AUX / Microphone mode: When we switch on the speaker it automatically enters into Bluetooth mode as default mode. With the help of this button, we can change it into FM or Aux mod.
4. REC: Press and hold for 3 seconds to record/Press REC button to repeat it.

5. MENU: Treble/Bass/Echo/Mic volume/Main volume: In this speaker model there are not any individual buttons, so with the help of this button we can change the mode and selected mode appears on to the Digital LED display. The functions which appear on the digital screen are as given below.

6. b - BASS. By pressing the "Menu" button, screen show default function sign, which means Bass function. With the help of rotating knob (Button no. 16), we can increase or decrease bass value.

7. E-Tweeter. By pressing the "Menu" button, screen shows default function b by pressing it again it start to show b which represents Tweeter function. With the help of rotating knob (Button no. 16), we can increase or decrease Tweeter value.
8. Echo. By pressing the "Menu" button, screen shows default function, we keep pressing the menu function until word appears on to the digital display. It represents ECHO function. With the help of rotating knob (Button no. 16), we can increase or decrease Echo value.
9. H - mic volume. By pressing the "Menu" button, screen shows default function 5. we keep pressing the menu function until word appears on to the digital display. it represents Mic volume function. With the help of rotating knob (Button no. 16), we can increase or decrease Mic volume. Rotating it in clockwise direction increases the volume and anticlockwise decreases it.
10. Main Volume. By pressing the "Menu" button, screen shows default function . we keep pressing the menu function until word appears on to the digital display. it represents speaker volume function. With the help of rotating knob (Button no. 16), we can increase or decrease the unit volume. Rotating it in clockwise direction increases the volume and anticlockwise decreases it.
11. LED Switch: This speaker has an attractive function of flashing RGB lights automatically following the musical beats. There are multiple light functions, with the help of LED light button any lighting function can be set/choose as per need and as per choice. Also the same button we can use to turn off the LED light.
12. Next Song/Next Channel: To change to the next song, hold the button and press and it will move to next song and the same way, keep pressing the button until you get the desired song from the play list.
13. Previous Song/Previous Channel: To move on the previous song / channel hold the button and press it once and it will move to previous song and the same way, keep pressing the button until you get the desired song from the play list.
14. Play/Pause/TWS: Play/Pause: short press to Play or Pause, long press TWS pairing : Play pause button can be used to turn on the music and stop it. The same button we can use to get the unit into TWS pairing mode. In the TWS pairing mode 2 same model units can connected to a single device and this helps in enhancing the sound power as well.

17. Line /AUX input: With the help of Auxiliar cable can connect any devise like MP4, Radios or any other devise and enjoy the content.

    Note: This speaker has 2 inputs to connect 2 microphones at a time. Although this speaker model has been provided with a wireless microphone.
20. Digital LED display: located on to the top part of the speaker, to show speaker functional mode and other sound setting details.
21. Rotating knob: this rotating knob helps to change the various sound settings (with the help of Menu button) and same button helps to increase of decrease volume in various modes.

8. Remote control buttons overview

1. Power / Standby: With the help of this button unit can be switch on and put in the standby mode, to switch it off permanent, need to switch of with the button located on the back part of the speaker.

2. Mode conversion (Media Player/AUX/FM): Audio switch mode (Memory card or TF card mode): This speaker works in multiple modes, among one is Bluetooth mode and others are like Auxiliar, FM; USB drive and Micro TF card mode.

3. Power / Standby: With the help of this button unit can be switch on and put in the standby mode, to switch it off permanent, need to switch of with the button located on the back part of the speaker.

The Bluetooth mode is default mode and when the speaker doesn't have any memory card it works only in the default mode, but when the speaker has memory card / USB drive inserted, then it enters into the Memory SD card / USB drive mode.

This button helps to change and select the from Bluetooth to Auxiliar or FM mode. 3. Mute: To Mute or unmute speaker sound.

1. Play/pause: this button helps to play / pause the music in any mode. In FM mode, with the short press can be moved to next saved channel. If we press this button once in FM mode, this same button starts searching different FM channels and keep saving automatically.

2. (fast rewind): In Bluetooth audio mode this button helps to move on to the previous song or video, In Fm mode to move on to the previous channel to search manually.

3. (fast forward): In Bluetooth audio mode this button helps to move on to the Next song or video, In Fm mode to move on to the next channel searching manually.
4. EQ: This unit has a built-in equalizer system, press the EQ button on remote to select a setting that best matches the music style: FLAT, CLASSIC, ROCK, POP and JAZZ. In audio Bluetooth mode, with the short press song equalizer can be changed.
5. Vol-volume: To reduce the volume.
6. Vol+volume: To increase the volume.
7. RPT: With the help of this button, you can listen your favourite song multiple times and tirelessly.
   11 USB/SD: to change the USB / Micro SD mode.
8. 0-9 numbers: Directly select the channel which has saved in the speaker system already.

9. Bluetooth Speaker functions

Before starting

Make sure to full charge the battery of speaker before first use, as it enhances the battery lifespan. The default mode is Bluetooth mode and later you can change it in any mode with the help of mode button.

IPX4 PROTECTION:

This unit provide with IPX4 protection, it means it is protected from water splashes. So, make sure while using it any nearby water source button panels are away from direct water connection, also need to make sure that the charging input must not get wet.

How to connect devise with the Bluetooth speaker?

On / Off / Audio XLINE Prev. and next button SOGO SS-8785

To connect your electronic device, turn on the speaker with the help of On/Off button located in the back panel and the speakers automatically enters into pairing mode, also turn on the Bluetooth mode of your electronic device and make sure it will be visible to all the nearby devices.

Search for the Bluetooth pairing name SOGO SS-8785 on your device screen and once it appears press it to connect with the speaker and wait until connected.

Once your device is connected to the speaker, the RGB lights start to move fast. Now you can play any music or song on your device to listen through the Bluetooth speakers. With the help of Play / Pause button you can play and stop the music anytime. With Prev. and next button, you can choose the songs from the song list.

NOTE: once your device is connected with the Bluetooth speaker, then there is not any need to reconnect it and whenever you will turn on the Bluetooth of your device it automatically connects with the speaker.

TWS functioning:

TWS On / Off / Audio (Long press)

This speaker model has a special function, known as TWS (True wireless) function, In this function we can connect 2 speakers at the same time with the same device without any wired connection. This function helps to enhance the sound level and also helps to cover a big area for parties and functions.

To turn on the TWS function, switch on the 2 identical and same model speakers. Press the play button for long period (long Press) and in no time both of the speakers will be connected to the device.

Now you can enjoy music and songs with enhance quality.

NOTE: to make the use of TWS function make sure the both of the speaker must be of same models and also need to have same Bluetooth pairing name.

Aux-In / Line-In

With the help of Aux-In input you can connect all the musical devices such as Radios, Laptops, Televisions, and all the devices, which doesn't have Bluetooth connection function. To connect the devices, you need an audio cable and connect the one end to the speaker Aux-in and other side to the device which needed to connect and automatically device will connect with the speaker. Aux-In mode is automatic and one you insert the auxiliar cable speaker automatically enters into the mode. With the help of device, you can play the music and songs.

NOTE: In this mode all the functions, controlled by the external devise.

Music with the help of USB drive and Micro TF / SD card:

This speaker has USB and Micro TF card slots, with the help of these slots you can listen the music saved in your pen drive or memory card. To play the speaker in USB drive mode / TF card mode, firstly switch on the speaker with the help of power button located on the back panel. Insert the USB pen drive or micro-SD card into the corresponding slots, for this mode as well no

need to choose the mode as just by inserting USB card / micro-SD card unit speakers automatically start to play saved music.

In this mode with the help of Play button music can be played or paused at any time, and with prev. and next button you can switch the songs from the song list saved into the external memory cards.

NOTE: Make sure while you insert the USB drive / Micro SD card the speaker must be in Bluetooth mode.

FM mode:

Press the power button to switch on the speaker and with the help of Mode button you can switch from Bluetooth mode to FM mode.

Press the "Play" button and speaker automatically start to search different FM channels and once receive the signal of the channel keep saving automatically.

Once all the FM channels be saved, you can search your favourite FM channels with the help prev. / next button and listen the music.

NOTE: IN FM mode, in order to get the better FM signal, please insert audio cable in Aux-in input and it works as antenna.

Recording function:

To use the recording function, make sure that the speaker have inserted USB pen drive or TF card. Turn on the speaker and plug in the microphone, once the microphone gets connected, your device is ready to record your voice.

Press the REC button to start the recording procedure and the same button you can use to stop the recording.

Microphone connection

This speaker has 2 microphone inputs available and with the help of that you can connect microphone provide with the speaker unit. With the help of rotating Mic volume knob, you can increase or decrease the volume.

10. Charging instructions

This unit has inbuilt battery and to charge it this unit is provided with power adaptor of 9V, 1.5A. In order to charge the battery turn off the unit and insert the power adaptor in electrical wall outlet, and connect it with the help of charging slot of the speaker. The indicator light will turn Red and it means unit is charging.

Approx. charging time is 5-6 Hours, once the battery get fully charged, the indicator light turn into green light.

To extend the battery life, make sure do not charge it more than 8 hours at a time.

NOTE: Play time depends on the type of music and volume, with 50% volume and normal music or sound it works approx. 5 hours.

Inbuilt battery is not replaceable, do not remove it or replace it on your own and in case of any issue take it to the authorized service center to get repair.

Also make sure at the time of charging the battery charging adaptor input must be dry.

Do not use the speaker while in charge as it might reduce the life of battery.

11. Cleaning and maintenance

While cleaning the product, just use soft or dry cloth and in case of severe stains use the damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as it can damage the paint, plastic or even the speaker itself.

Keep it away from sun light and do not keep it in hot and humid atmosphere.

Make sure to remove the power adaptor cable and keep it in cool and dry place.

12. Disposal of electronic goods

Do not dispose the battery operated units as normal rubbish, always these should be recycle in proper manner and according to the local municipal laws. You can recycle them by taking them to government authorized disposal centres or specialized bins which you can find in any nearby big super markets, electronics or electro domestics products stores or malls who have these types of facilities available.
