2. Safety instructions for the user

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• This product is designed for indoor domestic, non-industrial and non-commercial use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems with the appliance and may cause injury to the user.
• The unit must only be used for its intended purpose. No liability is accepted for damage resulting from improper use or incorrect handling.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
• It is necessary to supervise when any electrical appliance is being used by or near children.
• Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down.
• The device is not completely disconnected from the power supply, even after it has been switched off. To disconnect it completely, unplug it from the mains socket.
• The appliances are not designed to be operated by an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

• Never use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging the appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance or plug in water or any other liquid. If the appliance should fall into water, immediately disconnect it from the mains and take it to an authorised service centre for repair before using it again.

• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. If the cable is damaged, it must only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cable or similar cable available from the supplier or after-sales service.

• If the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way, return it to the nearest authorised service centre for examination, repair or adjustment.

Restrictions for use with children and the elderly

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision and instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children.

Instructions to be followed when using the device

• Do not fold the heating pad. Do not use the heating pad folded.
• Do not use pins on the heating pad.
• Do not wrinkle the heating pad.
• Do not puncture, cut or otherwise damage any part of the heated heating pad.
• Keep away from water, moisture and high humidity.
• Do not use when the pad is wet or damp. Use only when completely dry.
• Do not use on helpless or insensitive persons or infants.
• Do not attempt to modify, repair, disassemble or reassemble any component of the heated heating pad.
• This product is not intended for use in hospitals. It is for domestic use only.
• Warning Never go to sleep with the heating pad in use. Prolonged use may cause skin burns.
• Do not cut or puncture the heating pad.
• Do not pull, twist or apply force to the cables.
• The switch must not be placed above or below the appliance or covered when the appliance is in operation.
• During use, do not place heavy or large objects on the pad.
• During use, do not place any heat sources on the pad, e.g. hot water bottles, heating pads or similar.
• The appliance must not be used for heating animals.
• The appliance must be repaired or replaced if the cover is broken.

• Use the heating pad only with the cord and plug provided.

• To disconnect the heating blanket, turn the button to the "0" position, remove the plug and unplug the connector from the heating blanket.

• This heating pad should not be used by small children or persons insensitive to heat.
• Examine the appliance regularly for signs of wear or damage. If such signs are observed or if the appliance has been used incorrectly, return it to the supplier before further use.

! Important notes:

• Do not use the appliance without unwinding the cable. It may cause damage to the product and personal injury. Before use, unwind the cord completely and plug it in.
• Do not place the cable or controller under the appliance while it is in use. Doing so will cause it to overheat, which may cause damage and personal injury.
• Be sure to turn off the device's power switch, and the controller to the "0" position before going to sleep.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

USING THE HEATING PAD

OPERATION

• Plug it into the mains socket and switch it on at the plug.
• Set the temperature to the desired level:

0 = OFF (disconnection)
1 = Low heat
2 = High heat

• The heating pad/heating jacket takes about 10 minutes to reach the desired temperature and then automatically regulates its operating temperature.
• Safety cut-out temperature of 60^ .

6.INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

• The heated heating pad should be checked periodically to ensure that the control box and pad are intact. Use of the pad should be discontinued immediately if any wiring is exposed or if the pad or control box is damaged.
• The heating pad should be stored in a cool, dry place.
• DO NOT EXPOSE THE CONTROLLER, CABLES OR HEATING PAD TO WATER, MOISTURE OR HIGH HUMIDITY.
• Sponge clean only with lukewarm water and neutral detergent. Rinse with clean water using a sponge and allow to air dry before reuse.
• WARNING: Do not allow the electric control to get wet during cleaning.

Small stains can be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge, and possibly a small amount of liquid detergent for delicate fabrics.

Caution: do not dry clean, wire dry, tumble dry or mangle dry and do not iron. The heating pad cover is machine washable. Use a cycle for delicate fabrics at 30^ . Use a washing product for delicate fabrics and use the amount recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not wash the jacket too often, as this may damage the jacket. It should not be machine washed more than 5 times during its life.

Do not hang to dry using clothes pegs or anything else.

Do not expose to heat sources such as the sun, radiators, etc.

Note: Under no circumstances should the jacket be turned on to dry.

7. STORAGE

If you are not going to use the heating pad for an extended period of time, we recommend that you store it in its original packaging in a dry place and do not place anything on top of it.

Before storing the heating pad, be sure to follow the steps below:

• Make sure that the knob is in the "0 position".
• Disconnect the power supply.
• Allow the hot pad to cool completely.
• Store the heating pad preferably unfolded with the cord and plug folded up, taking care not to damage it and store it in a protected place
