Technical information

If the fan has to be stored for a long time and is not used regularly, place the fan in its original packaging in a dry place. When you use it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure that the fan is clean and that the motor blades are unrestricted (device not supplied with power).

Installation / Assembly

Preparation

a. Carefully remove all parts of the product from the packaging and place them on a horizontal surface.
b. Check that all parts and accessories are complete and match the packing list.

Fitting the castors

Insert the five castors into the corresponding openings on the base.

Mounting the fan housing

Insert the housing into the base so that the fixing holes match.

Take the tool and screws from the accessory bag and connect the housing to the base. Ensure that the screws are firmly tightened.

Mounting the upper fan components

1. Place the fan housing vertically on a horizontal surface for further installation.
2. Insert the corrugated pipe and the cable connections into the openings in the housing and then insert the upper fan components into the housing.
3. As shown in Figure 3, loosen the locking ring and align the upper fan components so that the upper and lower parts of the fan are in the correct position and the arrows match.
4. Tighten the locking ring.

Connecting the cables

1. Locate the connection cable on the back of the fan housing.
2. Align the cable connections with the connections on the control board, plug in the connections and check that they are secure.
3. Wrap the protective cover of the connection cable completely around the connection to protect it from water vapor.

Mounting the corrugated pipe

1. Locate the corrugated pipe on the back of the product.
2. Remove the fog container, insert the corrugated pipe and secure it in the intended position.
3. Insert the mist container into the fan housing and adjust the position so that it is firmly seated in the housing.

Refill water

1. Loosen the lid of the water tank and remove it.
2. Fill the tank with the appropriate amount of clean water (pure water is recommended).
3. Replace the tank cap and tighten it.

Insert the water tank into the housing from the back of the product, check that all sides are level and ensure that it is inserted correctly.

When the device is connected to the power supply, a signal tone sounds and the fan switches to standby mode.

Switching on/off

Press the "button once to switch to operating mode.

Press this button again and the fan will stop and switch off.

Setting the operating mode

When switched on, press the "button to select between normal wind, natural wind and sleep wind modes.

Setting the timer

When the appliance is switched on, press the "button to set the automatic switch-off in the range from 1 to 24 hours. Press the button again to delete the timer setting.

Setting the automatic swivel function

When switched on, press the "button to select the swivel function: 30° swivel, 70° swivel, 110° swivel or stop.

Setting the spray function

When switched on, press the "n" button to set the spray intensity to High, Low or Off.

When switched on, press the "button to select the wind speed from P1 to P12.

Setting the ambient light

Press the wind speed button "for 3 seconds to switch on the ambient light. Press it again for 3 seconds to switch the light off.

Preparing the remote control - Inserting or replacing the battery

Please note the following instructions:

Initial operation:

To use the remote control for the first time, pull the plastic cover out of the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.

Change the battery:

Pull out the battery holder on the back of the remote control and remove the old battery from the holder:

Now insert a new CR2032 battery, always paying attention to the polarity markings (+/-) on the battery and the battery holder.

Then push the battery holder all the way back into the remote control.

Cleaning

NOTE:

Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.

1. DO NOT immerse the device in water or spray it with other liquids.
2. DO NOT use solvents or other chemical products for cleaning. Store the fan in a dry place when not in use.
3. If you no longer use the fan at the end of the season, wipe off the dust to keep it in good condition for the next season. If necessary, dismantle the grille and remove the fan; clean it with a soft, damp cloth.
4. Remove the water tank and clean it with lukewarm water; before replacing the water tank in the appliance, make sure that it is completely dry. Drain the water from the appliance, place a container under the water drain (marked with an arrow at the bottom) and drain the water remaining in the water tank.

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision for innovation, durability and reliability.

For this BECOOL appliance we grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase valid in Austria! If, contrary to expectations, service work is required on your appliance during this period, we hereby guarantee to repair it free of charge (spare parts and labor) or (at Schuss's discretion) to replace the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a current value credit note.

In the case of air conditioners, please always contact the customer hotline as a first step (see sticker on the appliance or front page of the operating instructions); in the case of fans, please contact your specialist dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized workshop in Austria will immediately invalidate this warranty.

This guarantee does not cover

• We do not accept any liability for consequential damage in the event of improper use
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
• Damage due to non-compliance with the operating instructions
• Devices that are used - even partially - for commercial purposes
• devices mechanically damaged by external influences (fall, impact, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
- Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves on air conditioning units or incorrectly inserted water tanks.

We would like to emphasize that within the warranty period, a lump sum of € 60,- (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged for operating errors or if no error was detected.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year guarantee is only valid on presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the full name of the appliance) and the corresponding guarantee certificate, on which the appliance type and the serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the appliance) must be noted! Without the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this guarantee and remain unaffected.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or intent. Liability for loss of profit, expected but unrealized savings, consequential damages and damages from third party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
