APPLIANCE LOCATION

The temperature of environment must not be higher than 40^ C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%. Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device is being used. There should be at least 10 cm distance between each side of the device and the wall or other objects. The device should always be used when positioned on an even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out of the reach of children and persons with limited mental and sensory functions. Position the device such that you always have access to the power plug. The power cord connected to the appliance must be properly grounded and correspond to the technical details on the product label.

3.3. Device use

1. Use of power stations

a) Press the power switch (12) to switch on the power station and the indicator (13) will start.
b) AC operation mode: Press the AC ON/OFF button (14) to switch the unit on and the display will show AC ON (6).
c) Approximately 3 seconds after AC ON, connect one end of the cable to the AC socket (9) and the other end to electrical appliances.
d) When you have finished using the unit, press the AC ON/OFF button (14) again to turn it off, the display will show AC OFF (6).
e) DC operation mode: press the DC ON/OFF button (11) to turn on the DC mode, the DC ON sign (1) will be displayed.
f) Connect one end of the cable to any DC port such as USB-A (8, 15), USB Type-C (7), circular DC port (16) or cigarette lighter socket (10) and the other end of the cable to a mobile phone, laptop, drone, or other digital electronic equipment.
g) When you have finished using the unit, press the DC ON/OFF button (11) again to switch off the unit, the display will show DC OFF (1).

Turn Off Mains Switch When Not in Use:

- When your device is not in use, it's a good practice to switch off the mains switch. This helps conserve energy and prevents any potential risks associated with leaving the device powered on when not needed.

Switch On AC Output Only for AC Appliances:

- Only switch on the AC output when you need to power AC appliances. This step ensures that the inverter, which converts DC power to AC power, is only active when necessary. Running the inverter continuously can deplete the battery over time.

Inverter and Battery Management:

- The built-in inverter could drain the battery if left running for extended periods. This is common behaviour in devices with built-in inverters. If the inverter is active, it consumes power from the battery. To prevent excessive battery discharge, switch off the inverter when not powering AC appliances.

NOTES:

a) When the power drops below 1%, both AC and DC stop working, turn off the power switch to protect the batteries from damage due to loss of power.
b) When the power is less than or equal to 10%, the battery level symbol turns from green to red.
c) When the power level is less than or equal to 5%, the battery level symbol flashes red.
d) If possible, fully charge the power station before prolonged downtime. (For long-term use, fully charge the station at least once every 6 months).

2. Charging the power station

a) Charging via AC cable (maximum charging power: 200 W)

Plug the charging cable into a wall socket, then plug the other side into the AC input port of the portable power station, you can see the charging status on the LCD display (2).

b) Charging with solar panel (maximum charging power: 200 W). Solar panel is optional.

Place the solar panel in a location where it can receive as much direct sunlight as possible.

The charging status can be checked on the LCD display (3). Charging will end when the battery is fully charged.

NOTES:

  1. For charging from a wall socket, use only the charger specified by the manufacturer.
  2. For solar charging, a solar charger with the following specifications is recommended.

- DC output: 12-30 V Over 200 W

- Charging type: MPPT

- Connector: DC male connector

How to use the EC5 port

a) To assist in starting the car (to supply power to the car battery), but ensure that the remaining battery capacity is at least 60% before using this function.
b) Observe the correct polarity of the starter cables.
c) After connecting the starter cables to the battery station, turn on the main power switch and press the DC button, the display will show DC ON, wait about 10 minutes, press the DC button again, the display will show DC OFF, remove the starter terminal, try to turn the ignition key to start the car.

Description of alarm information.

a) Overload

When the output power used is greater than the specified output power that can be used for the model, the message "OVERLOAD" will be displayed in the alarm area. It is necessary to reduce the power of the electronic equipment. If the AC output is off at this time, press the AC ON/OFF button again and restart the unit.

b) High temperature.

When the internal temperature is higher than 35 degrees Celsius or the output power is higher than nominal power, the cooling fan starts to operate. When the internal temperature is higher than 80 degrees Celsius, the temperature alarm sounds. The AC and DC outputs are switched off and the alarm area shows "HI TEMP", which will stop operation immediately. To restart the unit, wait until the temperature drops below 40 degrees Celsius.

3.4. Cleaning and maintenance

a) Always unplug the device before cleaning or putting it away.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
d) Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge it in water.
e) Do not allow water to get inside the device through vents in the housing of the device.
f) Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
g) The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
h) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
i) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they may damage the surface material of the appliance.
j) Do not clean the device with an acidic substance, agents of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or other chemical substances because it may damage the device.
k) Before storage, the power station must be charged and recharged to full capacity every 6 months. Otherwise, the battery capacity will not be restored.

CAUTION:

Low temperatures (below zero) can affect the capacity of the power station battery. Never charge the unit in sub-zero conditions as this will damage the lithium-ion battery and its capacity may not be restored.
