SOMMAIRE
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
This appliance is intended for home use only.
Use only as described in this manual. Use only accessories recommended by Cecotec.
Check that the mains voltage corresponds with the rating of the appliance before operating.
No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by noncompliance with these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling.
Check the power cord for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type of danger.
Do not immerse the whole unit into water or other liquids.
Never pull the supply cord to unplug it. Instead, grasp the plug firmly and pull to disconnect it.
Do not let it touch hot surfaces. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. Do not run the appliance over the cord. Do not operate the cleaner with a damaged cord or plug.
This device is intended for use without a timer or remote control.
Do not use this appliance to vacuum flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline.
Do not vacuum sharp objects such as pins or nails, screws,
splinters, glass, porcelain, etc.
Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be repaired by Cecotec's Technical Support Service in order to avoid any damage.
Please turn off all controls before unplugging the appliance from electrical outlets. Do not leave the cleaner unattended while in operation. Unplug the electrical cord when not in use and before doing maintenance. Do not touch the plug or the vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
Store your appliance indoors in a cool, dry area.
Do not operate several high wattage appliances on the same electrical circuit.
Never leave your appliance unattended when it is switched on.
Use only accessories provided or recommended by Cecotec.
Unplug the appliance before filling the water tank.
Do not leave the cleaner on stairways or other unstable areas where it might be knocked over.
Never add alcohol-based products or perfumes, eau de
Cologne, etc. or any other cleaning products, detergents or
stain removers to the water.
Do not point the jet of steam at a person or an animal.
The steam generated is extremely hot and could cause serious burns.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way, and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the device.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from openings and moving or suctioning parts. Keep
this product out of the reach of children under 8 years old. The cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be carried out by children without supervision.

2. BEFORE USE
Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging materials, rating labels and transport protectors before plugging the device. Keep the original box.
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact Cecotec's Technical Support Service immediately.
Note:
Steam or steam pressure may loosen, detach, discolour, deform or melt the surface to be cleaned.
Always check the heat and humidity resistance of the material to be cleaned by carrying out a preliminary test on a hidden surface.
3. OPERATION
Attaching accessories
Attach the accessories to the pistol handle or one or two extension tubes.
Filling the water tank
Suitable water: Tap water, demineralised water or distilled bottled water.
Always use clear, pure water.
To ensure the long-life of your appliance, we recommend that you use mix tap water and non-perfumed demineralised water (50:50).
Never use pure demineralised water, water collected from a tumble drier or water softener or rainwater.
Switch off your appliance before filling.
Release the safety button from the water tank.
Fill the water tank using the filling beaker (max. 750 ml) and funnel.
Replace the water tank safety button.
Note: The safety button will not open when there is pressure in the device.
You must remove any steam or leave the appliance to cool before opening.
Warning:
Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of any person, animal. electrical plugs, equipment or electric appliances including the cleaning appliance itself.
Do not change the attachments whilst the appliance is emitting steam.
Using the device
Plug the appliance into a power supply.
Press the ON button.
The pressure indicator light will illuminate.
The appliance is ready to emit steam when this indicator light changes from orange to green.
Remove the steam safety lock and press the steam On/Off button positioned on the pistol handle to generate steam.
After use, press the steam button for a few seconds to remove any residual condensation water in the main hose.
Using the accessories:
The floor head is suitable for large surface areas (floors).
Use it with the mop cloth.
The big nozzle can be used with or without the extension tubes. The concentrated steam jet increases the cleaning power to remove any encrusted dirt.
The round nylon brush connects to the big nozzle. It is suitable for cleaning small, very soiled surfaces and bathrooms.
The ironing brush is fitted with the cloth, with or without extension tubes, and can be used to remove dust from textile surfaces (sofas and cushions, etc.)
Note: On cold windows, pre-heat the surface initially by spraying the steam thirty centimetres
away from the glass.
Filling the water tank during use
Fill the water tank when the steam flow rate decreases.
Always wait for the appliance to stop generating steam and ensure that the device is no longer
pressurised before releasing the safety button (a special protective device prevents the safety
button from being released if there is still pressure in the device).
Filling methods: Press the steam generator button to spray the steam until the device is empty.
Release the control and open the safety button. Steam may be released on opening.
Fill the water tank.
Cleaning
Before cleaning a delicate surface (carpet, fabric, etc.), test the appliance on a hidden surface.
Wait for the steam to take effect and check that there is no colour change or deformity.
Switching off the device
Place the On/Off button in the Off position.
Unplug from the electric socket, leave the appliance to cool and put away.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply, turn it off and allow it to cool down before cleaning or storing it.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device's surface.
Clean dust from the device's surface and vents regularly.
Clean and store the device in a safe, dry place if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
Avoid the use of abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads as these could damage the product.
The power cord should not be in contact with sharp edges, and it should not be compressed by heavy objects. Store the cord in a clean, dry location always away from metal objects.
Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance during storage as this may result in possible damage of appliance.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
