SOMMAIRE

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• Do not use outdoors.
• During ozone disinfection and within 30-40 minutes after the appliance has been turned off, people or animals shall not remain in the same room as the appliance. Staying in the room could cause body harm.
• Avoid contact between air outlet and eyes and respiratory system.
• Do not operate the appliance in places where temperature is below 42 °C.
• Do not throw, drop, or knock the equipment. Do not block the air outlet to ensure proper operation and to avoid possible hazards.
• At the entrance of the ozone treated room, a notice shall be posted at a visible location at a height of 150-200 cm, stating "Ozone treated room".
• It is recommended to install the appliance in an elevated position in the room to favour the distribution of ozone.
• Ozone generators may be used and/or installed in premises where there

are other ozone producing sources provided that in those premises the incision levels established by the regulations or recommendations in force are not exceeded.

• This appliance is not considered to be a high ozone generator. This appliance must be adjusted to the size of the room to be treated and may not be used for any other purpose than that for which it was designed.
• Do not change location without consulting the specialist technician.
• Do not install in premises where volatile chemicals are handled.
• Ozone may be irritating at immission levels higher than those indicated in this brochure.
• This producer may not be used in the presence of people or animals, although monitoring by a specialist technician is recommended in premises where people with pulmonary deficiency or who perform physical exercise that increases their normal respiratory volume are present.
• Entry to premises where producers of this type are in operation shall be made in compliance with appropriate protective measures against irritant gases.
• Before cleaning or other maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above under supervision.

• This appliance can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• The ozone generator must be used in a controlled manner and only by suitably equipped professional personnel to minimise the risk of exposure.
• No liability is accepted for any eventual damage or personal injuries derived from misuse or non-compliance with this instruction manual.
• After using the appliance to conduct ozone disinfection or remove formaldehyde, ozone can be decomposed into oxygen itself, which will not produce residual leave.
• Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
• When used in a damp environment such as a bathroom or a kitchen, make sure not to spray water on the machine and avoid any risk of wetting it in order to avoid damage to the appliance.

• The appliance contains an ozone high-pressure module, therefore it must only be disassembled or repaired by qualified personnel. In case of fault or malfunction, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

• Warning: high voltage inside the equipment. The equipment may not be disassembled by anyone who is not authorised by CECOTEC.

• If the power/charging cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cable or assembly to be supplied by the manufacturer or its after-sales service.
• To recharge the battery, only use the power supply unit/cable provided with the appliance.
• Do not disassemble, open, or break secondary batteries.
• Do not leave the battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
• After long periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
• Dispose of the battery properly at the end of the appliance's service life.
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children.
• Store the appliance and its instruction manual in a safe and dry place when not in use.

Battery instructions

- This appliance includes a Li-ion battery, do not incinerate, or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.

- Leaks from the battery or cells can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery.

• If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
• Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
• Avoid contact between the battery and small metallic objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.
• Before a new battery is used or the battery is used for the first time after long-term storage, fully charge the battery. When the appliance is stored and not used for long periods of time, ensure that the battery pack is fully charged.

2. BEFORE USE

• Take the appliance out of the box.
• Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any sign of visible damage is observed, immediately contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

3. OPERATION

This appliance has a built-in battery, which allows using the appliance in different spaces once it is charged, such as refrigerator, toilet, bedroom, office, wardrobe, shoe cabinet, car, etc. It can be used to disinfect or deodorise.

• Press and hold the power button to activate this mode. The indicator light will start flashing. Under this mode, the appliance operates for 20 minutes and then turns automatically off for 6 hours.
• It will run this cycle until continuously until it runs out of battery.

Single deodorisation mode

Press the power button while the cycle deodorisation mode is activated to switch to this mode. The indicator light will remain steadily on. The appliance will run for 40 minutes and then turn automatically off.

Battery indicator

• Low battery: fast flashing
• Charging: slow flashing
• Battery charged: light off

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always unplug the appliance from the mains before performing any cleaning or maintenance action.
• You must dry the appliance properly before switching it on or using it again.
• Remove all metal parts that are resting on the appliance.
• Do not obstruct the ozone generator grilles or openings.
• You should always keep the air inlets and outlets free and clean for proper air flow.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
• Do not wet or allow water to come inside the appliance.
• Do not use chemical or harsh abrasive cleaning agents.
• Store the appliance in a safe, fry place when not used for a long time.

Ozone excitation curve: peak after 40 minutes of non-stop use.

- Ozone decomposition curve: in one cubic metre, temperature 20 °C, 5 minutes after start-up, the ozone concentration can kill bacteria. After 40 minutes of operation, it reaches the highest concentration of 0.2 mg/L. After 40 minutes, open the window to provide good ventilation and to disperse the ozone concentration in the room (5-10 minutes). In a confined space under regular circumstances, it takes about 1-2 hours for ozone to dissipate.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the appliance and/or battery must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this appliance reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the cells/batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities. Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old

appliances and/or their batteries.
