Take the product out of the box. Remove all packaging material. Keep the original box. Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact Cecotec’s Technical Support Service immediately.

Ozone is a broad-spectrum fungicide, which has a strong killing effect on all kinds of bacteria and viruses. It can improve air quality an eliminate unpleasant smells too. Place the ozone generator in a well-ventilated room. Make sure it is placed on a stable, dry surface. Respect the safety distances stated on the safety instructions when installing the device in the room. In order to achieve the best ozone disinfection effect, close the doors and windows. There should be no person or animal inside the room during disinfection. Note: A slight buzzing sound may be heard when the negative ion function is activated. This is caused by the negative iron generator and does not mean malfunction. Plug the device into a power supply. Press the on/off button (1) on the remote control to turn the device on. The product will operate at medium speed level by default every time it is turned on. Press the On/off button to turn the device off. Medium: The device will run at medium speed level (3). Turbo: The device will run at maximum speed level. This mode is recommended when indoor pollution is high (4). Timer settings (5) There are 3 time options: 2, 4 and 8 hrs. Press tue timer button once to select 2 hours, press it again to select 4 hours and press it for a third time to select 8 hours. Ozone function (6) Press the Ozone button to activate this function. Ozone will be released for 20 minutes and then the device will turn off for 40 minutes. This cycle will be repeated. Press again to deactivate this function. 4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the upper part of the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not wet or allow water to come inside the device. Do not use chemical or harsh abrasive cleaning agents. Switch off the device before start cleaning it. Make sure it is completely dry before using it again. Use a soft brush to remove dust accumulated in the air inlet and outlet. Store the device in a safe, fry place when not used for a long time.

Ozone decomposition curve: In 30 cubic meters, temperature 24 ºC, 2 minutes after starting, the ozone concentration can kill bacteria. After 20 minutes of operation it reaches the highest level of concentration, 180 mg/L. After 20 minutes, the ozone function will stop working, open the window to ventilate the room and to allow the ozone concentration to disperse into the room (5-10 minutes). 6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual. The warranty will not cover the following situations: The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer. The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use. The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts.
