Can I use the device in a room where people or animals are present?

No, during the ozone disinfection process and for 15 to 20 minutes after the device stops, people and animals must not enter or stay in the same room. This could cause health problems.

How long does it take for ozone to dissipate after use?

In a normal closed environment, it takes 20 to 40 minutes for ozone to dissipate. It is recommended to open windows for good ventilation for 5 to 10 minutes.

How do I set the timer?

Press the timer button: once for 2 hours, twice for 4 hours, three times for 8 hours. The timer is available in all modes.

What does the slight humming I hear mean?

This noise is normal when the negative ion function is activated. It comes from the negative ion generator and does not indicate a malfunction.

How do I clean the device?

Use a clean, soft, damp cloth to clean the surface. Do not use abrasive or chemical products. For air inlets and outlets, use a soft-bristled brush. Always unplug the device before cleaning.

What filters does the device use?

SOMMAIRE

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. All safety instructions should be closely followed when using the appliance.

Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the outlet is grounded.

This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not use it outdoors.

During ozone disinfection and within 15-20 minutes after the device has been turned off, people or animals shall not remain in the same room as the device. Staying in the room could cause body harm.

Avoid contact between eyes or respiratory system and the air outlet.

Do not operate the product in places where temperature is above 42^ .

Do not throw, drop or cause any impact on the unit. Do not block air outlets in order to ensure proper operation and to avoid risks.

No liability is accepted for any eventual damage or personal injuries derived from misuse or non-compliance with this instruction manual.

After using the device to conduct ozone disinfection or remove formaldehyde, ozone can be decomposed into oxygen itself, which will not produce residual leave. Ensure that the product and the adjacent walls or items are at least 20~cm away, and the upper vents are at least 30~cm away.

Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

Do not try to repair the device by yourself. There are no fixable

pieces inside the device.

Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface. When used in a damp environment such as a bathroom or a kitchen, make sure not to spray water on the machine and avoid any risk of wetting it in order to avoid damage to the device.

The device contains an ozone high-pressure module, therefore it must only be disassembled or repaired by qualified personnel. Contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

Store the appliance in a safe and dry place when not in use. Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children.

2. BEFORE USE

Take the product out of the box.

Remove all packaging material. Keep the original box.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact Cecotec's Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

Ozone is a broad-spectrum fungicide, which has a strong killing effect on all kinds of bacteria and viruses. It can improve air quality an eliminate unpleasant smells too.

Place the ozone generator in a well-ventilated room. Make sure it is placed on a stable, dry surface.

Respect the safety distances stated on the safety instructions when installing the device in the room.

In order to achieve the best ozone disinfection effect, close the doors and windows. There should be no person or animal inside the room during disinfection.

Note: A slight buzzing sound may be heard when the negative ion function is activated. This is caused by the negative iron generator and does not mean malfunction.

Plug the device into a power supply.

Press the on/off button (1) on the remote control to turn the device on. The product will operate at medium speed level by default every time it is turned on. Press the On/off button to turn the device off.

Operating modes

ENGLISH

Choose between its 3 different modes:

Eco: The device will run at low speed level (2).

Medium: The device will run at medium speed level (3).

Turbo: The device will run at maximum speed level. This mode is recommended when indoor pollution is high (4).

Timer settings (5)

There are 3 time options: 2, 4 and 8 hrs. Press tue timer button once to select 2 hours, press it again to select 4 hours and press it for a third time to select 8 hours.

Ozone function (6)

Press the Ozone button to activate this function. Ozone will be released for 20 minutes and then the device will turn off for 40 minutes. This cycle will be repeated.

Press again to deactivate this function.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the upper part of the device with a soft damp cloth.

Do not wet or allow water to come inside the device.

Do not use chemical or harsh abrasive cleaning agents.

Switch off the device before start cleaning it. Make sure it is completely dry before using it again.

Use a soft brush to remove dust accumulated in the air inlet and outlet. Store the device in a safe, fry place when not used for a long time.

7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.

The warranty will not cover the following situations:

The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.

The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.

The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
