IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

AS A BASSINET / CO-SLEEPER:

  • Do not use this product without reading the instructions for use first. Stop using the product as soon as the child can sit or kneel or pull itself up. Placing additional items in the product may cause suffocation. Do not use more than one mattress in the product. Do not place the product close to another product, which could present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, etc. Be aware of the risk of burning cigarettes, open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the vicinity of the bassinet. The bassinet should be placed on a horizontal floor. DO NOT use the bassinet if any part is missing, damaged or broken. Contact phil&teds for replacement parts, and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts. Before using the bassinet, ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged. Check carefully that they are all fully engaged before use and if you leave the child unsupervised in it. Young children should not be allowed to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the bassinet. Ensure that all components of the frame are regularly checked for a

secure and tight fit, as a child could trap parts of the body or clothing (eg. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies’ dummies etc) on loose parts, which would pose a risk of strangulation.

  • It is recommended that the mattress supplied by the manufacturer is used. The maximum thickness (25mm) of the mattress shall be such that the internal height (surface of the mattress to the upper edge of the bassinet frame) is at least 200mm. The size (700mm x 450mm) of the mattress shall be such that there is no gap greater than 30mm between the mattress and the sides and ends of the bassinet. • Only use the bassinet with all sides raised.

AS A CO-SLEEPER:

  • WARNING – To avoid hazards from the child's neck being caught on the top rail on the side that is next to the adult bed, the top rail must not be higher than the adult bed mattress.

  • WARNING – To avoid the risk of your child being strangled, the attachment system to the adult's bed shall always be kept away from and out of the bassinet. • DO NOT use co-sleeper if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact phil&teds® for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts. • This co-sleeper is designed for use only with adult beds that are between 47 and 76 cm from floor to top of adult mattress. • The co-sleeper is only suitable for adult beds where the mattress

and frame are aligned. • Use the attachment system provided and do not use any other attachment system. • Co-sleepers shall never be used in an inclined position. • To prevent a suffocation hazard from entrapment, the co-sleeper shall be properly secured to the adult bed using the attachment system. • There shall never be a gap between the lower side of the co-sleeper and the mattress of the adult bed. • Check the tightness of the attachment system before each use by pulling the co-sleeper in a direction away from the adult bed. • If there is any gap between the co-sleeper and the adult bed DO NOT use product. • Gaps should not be filled with pillows, blankets or other items. • DANGER! – Always completely raise all sides and ensure all top rails are installed when not attached to the adult's bed.

AS A COT:

  • Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot. Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer. Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind / curtain cords, etc. Do not use more than one mattress in the cot. Before using the traveller,

ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged. Check carefully that they are all fully engaged before use. • If you leave the child unattended in the traveller, always make sure the side access panels are zipped closed. • Ensure that all components of the frame are regularly checked for a secure and tight fit. • To prevent injury from falls, when the child is able to climb out of the cot, the cot shall no longer be used for that child. • It is recommended that the mattress supplied by the manufacturer is used. The thickness (25mm maximum) of the mattress shall be such that the internal height (surface of the mattress to the upper edge of the cot frame) is at least 500mm. The size (900mm x 700mm) of the mattress shall be such that there is no gap greater than 30mm between the mattress and the sides and ends of the cot.
