"CHANNEL" switch5. Initial use
Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor and insert two 1.5V AAA batteries and select the desired channel at the “Channel switch.” Then open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and insert three 1.5V AAA batteries. Alternatively, you can use the supplied coaxial power adapter for operation. For this purpose, plug the mains adapter into a properly installed socket and then connect it to the coaxial connector of the main unit.

Note: If you want to use the device with batteries, then the backlight is not permanently switched on. The backlight of the display is continuously switched on only when operated with the enclosed power adapter.
The weather station then attempts to establish connection with the outdoor sensor. Ensure that both devices are within each other's range. The connection symbol " [ ] " flashes in the "Outdoor temperature display" of the main unit. If the main unit cannot establish a connection with the outdoor sensor within 5 minutes, then it stops searching. The connection icon stops flashing and the temperature display shows "-._°C" and "--%" on the display.
In most cases, the connection cannot be established due to specific factors such as reinforced walls or too great a distance between the sensor and the main unit. In this case, position the sensor and the main unit closer to each other. To restart scanning, press and hold the "Channel button" on the front of the main unit for 3 seconds until the connection symbol in the display starts flashing.

The current atmospheric pressure is displayed in the bottom section of the pressure display. You can view the trend of the last 12 readings (12 hours) in the "Pressure Trend" field.

Trend display:
The trend display is updated every hour. The rise or fall is determined by the atmospheric pressure or by the temperature and the humidity. If the readings change in the measurement period, for example, by at least 2 hPa (= 0.06 inHg), or at least 1°C (= 1.8°F), or the humidity changes by at least 5%, then it is taken into account in the trend.
Weather forecast:

text_image
LEARNING...The weather station calculates a weather forecast for about 12 hours, which is based on the air pressure trend. Naturally, this forecast cannot be compared with satellites or high-performance computers. The forecast shows only an approximation of the current trend.

- During the setup, you can press the "MODE" button to change the current altitude unit. The air pressure unit which is displayed in the default screen changes along with the length unit to "M/hPa" or "Ft/inHg".
The altitude correction range is -90m to 1990m.
When the setup is complete, press the "SET" button to confirm the altitude correction setting or wait for 10 seconds until the menu closes automatically.
8.2 Temperature alarm
It is possible to define a temperature range for the outdoor sensor and for the indoor temperature. With the temperature alarm, the base station will sound an alarm if the reading is outside this temperature range.
- Press the "MODE" button 4 times consecutively in the default screen, so that only the indoor and the outdoor temperatures are displayed. Then press and hold the "SET" button for about 2-3 seconds until the temperature to be configured starts flashing.
- Then press the "UP" or the "DOWN" button to select the minimum temperature of the desired range (LO). Confirm the value by pressing the "SET" button.
- You can then select between "ON" and "OFF". This selection option determines whether the corresponding alarm should be switched on or off. Confirm your selection using the "SET" button.
- Then press the "UP" or the "DOWN" button to select the maximum temperature of the desired range (HI). Confirm the value by pressing the "SET" button.
- You can then select between "ON" and "OFF". This selection option determines whether the corresponding alarm should be switched on or off. Confirm your selection using the "SET" button.
- After configuring the outdoor sensor, you can define the newly configured values for the indoor temperature as well. Repeat the previous steps for the indoor temperature for your desired temperature values.
If the outdoor sensor measures a temperature outside the previously configured range, an alarm is emitted for about one minute from the base station. This alarm can be muted by pressing a button on the weather station. The temperature which triggered the alarm will start flashing in the display.
To turn off the temperature alarm, go to the temperature alarm settings. After selecting the temperature for the corresponding alarm, you must select "OFF" (see above, paragraph 3).
8.3 Alarm setting

Atmospheric pressure
The atmospheric pressure is automatically measured every hour and shown in the display. The table shows the approximate trend of the atmospheric pressure.
10. Additional settings
14 day Learning mode
Whenever you do an electrical reset (remove batteries from the battery compartment and disconnect the mains adapter), the weather station will switch to a 14-day learning mode to ensure a more accurate weather forecast trend. As long as the weather station is in the learning mode, "Learning ..." is shown in the display above the weather forecast.
Receiving the outdoor sensor signal
The outdoor sensor sends a signal twice per minute, which is automatically received by the base station. You can also manually enable the signal reception. Press the "CHANNEL" button repeatedly until you reach the channel that was selected using the switch in the battery compartment of the corresponding outdoor sensor. Alternatively, you can also activate the automatic channel switching. Here, the weather station switches through all the channels, even through the ones not used by the external sensors.
