5 Initial use
Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor and insert two 1.5V AAA batteries. Configure the desired channel of the outdoor sensor using the switch in the battery compartment. Then close the battery compartment. Then open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and insert two 1.5V AAA batteries.
Now the weather station starts to connect with the outdoor sensor and automatically searches for the DCF signal.

Note: The backlight is not constantly on. The display lighting is switched on when the motion sensor detects a movement at the top of the device.
6 DCF signal
The DCF signal is a time signal, which is sent out by one of the most accurate clocks in the world. It is located near Frankfurt am Main. Under ideal conditions, your weather station can receive this signal from a distance of up to 1500 km.
If the weather station has detected the signal, then it displays Central European Time, the date, and the day of the week. The DCF symbol "W" is then shown in the display.
If the attempt to receive a signal fails, then the weather station stops searching after about 7 minutes. The DCF symbol disappears from the display.
Re-activate the search by pressing the "Down" button for about 3 seconds until the DCF symbol is shown once again in the display. You can cancel the manual search by pressing the "DOWN" button again for about 3 seconds during the search.
Alternatively, you have the option of manually setting the time. Further information on this topic can be found in the "Basic settings" section.
7 Connecting with the outdoor sensor
Make sure that both the devices are within each other's range. The connection symbol "●" flashes in the "Outdoor temperature display" of the main unit. If the main unit cannot establish a connection with the outdoor sensor within 3 minutes, then it stops searching. The connection icon stops flashing and the temperature display shows "--." °C" in the display. Ensure that the switch in the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor is set to the desired channel.
In most cases, the connection cannot be established due to specific factors such as reinforced walls or a too great distance between the sensor and the main unit. In this case, position the sensor and the main unit closer to each other.
To restart scanning, press and hold the "CH" button on the back of the main unit for 3 seconds until the connection symbol in the display starts flashing.
The weather station will now automatically search for the outdoor sensor in the configured channel (CH1, CH2 or CH3) again.
8 Display
Time display:

DATE MONTH 8/12 DAY FREThe weather station has a date and day display. The date is displayed in the lower section and the day in the upper section. The pre-configured language is German. If you want to change the language, please refer to the section "Basic settings" for more information.
DCF symbol: The radio tower symbol indicates that the DCF signal has been successfully received. The weather station synchronises the time every night. The symbol begins flashing during synchronisation. If the time has been successfully received, then the symbol glows constantly until the next synchronisation.
Indoor temperature display:
The indoor temperature is measured by the base station and is shown with an accuracy of one tenth of a degree. The configured temperature unit is displayed to the right of the measured value. The temperature unit can be changed between °
C and ° F. This can be changed by pressing the "DOWN" button.
The measured value should not be below the minimum value ( 0^ ) or above the maximum value ( 50^ C).
Outdoor temperature display:

The measured value should not be below the minimum value (-40°) or above the maximum value (60°C).
9 Basic settings

Note: Any movement above the motion sensor on the top of the housing will switch on the backlight. Please note that the base station does not respond to 2 buttons at the same time. It is therefore advisable to press only one button.
Press and hold the "SET" button in time mode for about 3 seconds to configure the basic settings. With the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons you can change the values accordingly.
By briefly pressing the "SET" button in the time settings, you can confirm entry and proceed to the next option. In this way, you can change and customise the following settings in the sequence mentioned below:
• 12/24 hour display
- Time zone- Note: If you set the time zone, for example, to +01 and the weather station is actuated using the DCF-signal, then the clock displays one hour later than the DCF-signal.

- Minutes
- Language setting- To set the day in the display. The following codes can be configured and selected using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons: GER (German), DAN (Danish), ESP (Spanish), NET (Dutch), FRE (French), ITA (Italian), ENG (English)

9.1 Alarm setting
The weather station can store up to 2 alarm settings, which can be turned on and off separately. By pressing the "SET" button you can view the configured alarm times. You can turn the alarm times on and off using the "ALM" button.
Setting the alarm
Press the "SET" button to view the alarm times. Press and then hold the "SET" button to change the corresponding alarm time. You can make the desired settings using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons. Confirm the settings respectively using the "SET" button. You can configure these settings using Alarm 1 (A1) and Alarm 2 (A2). The alarm times of alarm 1 refer only to weekdays (Mon-Fri). The alarm times of alarm 2 refer only to weekends (Sat-Sun).
Turning the alarm on and off
After successfully setting the alarm, the respective alarm times can be turned on or off using the "ALM" button on the back of the device. The corresponding alarm is turned on as soon as the corresponding symbol (alarm 1 or/and alarm 2) is shown in the display.
Muting the alarm
When the alarm is activated at the configured time, the backlight also turns on automatically. The alarm is active for 2 minutes before it turns off automatically. If the alarm does not turn off within these 2 minutes, then it repeats automatically after 24 hours.
If the "Snooze/Light" motion sensor detects a movement, then the alarm stops for 5 minutes before going off again. If the corresponding alarm symbol starts to flash this means that the snooze function is activated and the alarm will go off again in 5 minutes.
To turn off the alarm, press the "ALM" button repeatedly, until the alarm symbol in the display disappears.
10 Backlight
The backlight can be switched on for about for 5 seconds by making a movement over the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" motion sensor.
