Emerald 360 Pro is a car seat that complies with the new European regulation i-Size R129.

i-Size aims at increasing children's safety in car by promoting UNIVERSAL ISOFIX installation, by supporting rearward-facing travel up to minimum 15 months, by improving protection for head and neck. - The Emerald 360 Pro is developed for an intensive use of approximately 12 years.

- Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked in the child restraint.

The Emerald 360 Pro car seat in the car:

Before buying this product make sure the car seat is compatible with the vehicle it is to be used in.

For a child from 40-105 cm:

- For a child with a height from 40-105 cm and with use of the support leg and 5-point harness, the car seat can be rotated 360^ and slide out to help you get your child in and out of the vehicle easily. This also allows you to change the position of the seat from rearward facing to forward facing. - The car seat must be used rearward facing up to a minimum age of 15 months (and up to 75 cm) to guarantee optimum safety for your child. Maxi-Cosi recommends you use the seat in the rearward facing position up to 105 cm (until approx. 4 years of age). This makes it possible to improve the protection of the head and neck of the infant, which is still very fragile at this age, very significantly.

- The car seat must be installed with ISOFIX and support leg when your child's height is from 40 cm to 105 cm (max. 17 kg).

- When the support leg is used, it must always be unfolded completely, locked, and placed in the most forward position.

The car seat must be used with the 5-point harness when your child's length is from 40 cm to 105 cm and weight is max. 17 kg.

- You may install the car seat in a forward-facing position with the 5-point harness when

your child is from 76 cm up to 105 cm in length and older than 15 months.

- When the child restraint is installed in the maximum rearward facing position, it may not fit in all approved vehicles. Please check that all possible positions of the car seat (recline positions and headrest adjustment) fit in your car.

WARNING:

• It is MANDATORY to install the support leg when your child's height is from 40 cm to 105 cm.
• The ISOFIX anchors have been developed to obtain a safe and easy fixation of the child safety systems inside the car. Not all cars are equipped with these anchors although they are standard on more recent models.
• The car seat must always be locked in the forward facing or rearward facing position when travelling with the child in the car seat. Do NOT travel when the car seat is rotated to a lateral (loading) position or to any other unlocked intermediate position with your child in the car seat.
• When installing the car seat, spaces between the base of the car seat and the vehicle seat are possible depending on the position of the anchorage points within the vehicle.
• Use the car seat only on a front-facing seat that is fitted with an automatic or static 3-point belt that has been approved according to the ECE R16 standard or similar. Do NOT use a 2-point belt.

For a child from 100-150 cm:

• Install the car seat with the vehicle belt and ISOFIX connectors when your child's length is from 100 to 150~cm . It is NOT recommended to install the car seat with vehicle belt only.
• The support leg must be folded under the car seat when your child is using the vehicle safety belt.
• When using the car seat with the vehicle belt, only the forward facing position is allowed and it is NOT possible nor allowed to rotate and slide out the car seat.

- The newborn inlay included in your Emerald 360 Pro seat plays an integral part in the efficiency of the restraint system for your child from 40 to 75~cm . It can be removed, and the cover taken off for washing, but it is essential to place it back again where it belongs and only use this official Maxi-Cosi Emerald 360 Pro newborn inlay. This newborn inlay is exclusively for use with the Emerald 360 Pro seat.

- The newborn inlay is MANDATORY for a baby from 40-60 cm. From 60-75 cm you can choose to remove the inlay if your child no longer fits. - Always make sure to remove the inlay when your child's length is more than 75 cm.

- Make sure you can fit no more than one finger between the harnesses and your child (1cm). If there is more space than 1 cm, tighten the harness belt further.

- Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the proper height..

ATTENTION:

• It is prohibited to adjust the seat position while travelling.
• Never allow your child to climb in and out of the car seat when the Emerald 360 Pro is in the slide out position.
• Never close your car door with the Emerald 360 Pro in slide out position.
• When using Emerald 360 Pro in a rearward-facing position with the newborn inlay, it is MANDATORY to use the maximum recline position for a child up to 75~cm .
• It is prohibited to recline the car seat when your child is using the vehicle safety belt.
• If you use the car seat in rearward facing position on the front seat, it is mandatory to deactivate the passenger airbag. We advise to move the vehicle seat back to a maximum (Please consult your car manual).

CARE

The cover, headrest cover, shoulder pads, lap pads, crotch pad and the newborn inlay can be removed for washing. If the cover needs to be replaced at any time, only use official Maxi-Cosi covers because it constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.
