Safety

General Mura instructions

Our products have been carefully designed and tested to ensure your baby's safety and comfort. Complies with safety requirements - Tested in an approved laboratory in accordance with order no. 91-1292 - December 1991 - EN 1888 :2003 + A1/A2/A3 :2005.

1. This product is designed for children frombirth and up to 15 kg.
2. Never carry more than 1 child in the pushchair at a time.
3. Never lift the pushchair with the child inside it.
4. If the manufacturer of your pushchair recommends using it in combination with a carrycot or a car seat, then, the maximum weight for the combination is that indicated on the additional product.
5. If the manufacturer of your pushchair recommends using it in combination with a carrycot or car seat, always have them facing you.
6. Never use stairs or escalators with your child in the pushchair.

7. Keep your child well out of the way when you fold, unfold or adjust the pushchair. The tyres may leave black marks on some floors (particularly on smooth floors such as parquet, synthetic laminates, linoleum, etc.)

8. The brake must always be on when putting the child in or taking him out. Always use the parking brake, even when standing still for only a few moments!

9. Only use accessories sold or approved by the manufacturer.
10. Using other accessories could be dangerous.
11. The tyres can be inflated to a maximum pressure of 26 PSI/1.8 bar. They can be inflated using the hand pump supplied (to be found in the front compartment of the basket) or at a garage or petrol station. Always deflate the tyres before taking the Maxi-Cosi Mura onto an aircraft, as the air pressure difference could cause the tyres to burst.

WARNING :

It may be dangerous to leave the child unattended.

WARNING :

Always use the harness provided with the item. Rings for attaching an extra harness are on each side, beside the seat belt.

Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.

Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the pram/pushchair.

WARNING :

Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.

WARNING :

Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.

WARNING :

This product is not suitable for running or skating.

WARNING :

To avoid the risk of suffocation, keep all plastic bags and packaging out of reach of babies and young children.

WARNING :

Raincover uses:

Do not use in sunny weather because of excessive heat. Do not use the rain cover without the hood. Use only under adult supervision.

Chassis care advice

1. The product must be maintained regularly to provide full satisfaction. We advise you to check and if necessary clean mechanical parts every fortnight.
2. Wipe the frame with a clean cloth. Clean and dry thoroughly the chassis, every time you've been in muddy or sandy areas, to avoid rust.
3. Do not use grease or oil.
4. Your pushchair may not work properly if it is not maintained regularly.
5. Do not force it if it becomes difficult to fold it up or unfold it. Clean the product.
6. If difficulties persist, contact your supplier.
7. Caring: Use a sponge and mild soap. Do not use detergent.

Environment

Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach of your child to avoid the risk of suffocation.

For environmental reasons, when you have stopped using this product, we ask that you dispose of the product in the proper waste facilities in accordance with local legislation.

Warranty

We guarantee that this product was manufactured in accordance with the current European safety requirements and quality standards which are applicable to this product, and that this product is free from defects in workmanship and material at the time of purchase. During the production process the product was subjected to various quality checks. If this product, despite our efforts, shows a material/manufacturing fault within the warranty period of 24 months, (with normal use as described in the user instructions) we will comply with the warranty terms and conditions. In this case please contact your dealer. For extensive information on applying the warranty terms and conditions, you can contact the dealer or look on our website: www.maxi-cosi.com.

The warranty is not valid in the following cases:

• In case of a use or purpose other than described in the manual.

• If the product is submitted for repair through a dealer that is not authorized by us.

• If the product is not supplied to the manufacturer with the original purchase receipt (via the retailer and/or importer).

• If repairs were carried out by third parties or a dealer that is not authorized by us.
• If the defect is the result of improper or careless use or maintenance, negligence or impact damage to the fabric cover and/or frame.
• If the parts show normal wear and tear that may be expected from daily use of a product (wheels, rotating and moving parts etc.)

Date of effect:

The warranty becomes effective on the date the product is purchased.

Warranty term:

The warranty period applies for a period of 24 consecutive months. The warranty only applies for the first owner and is not transferable.

What to do in case of defects:

After purchasing the product, keep the purchase receipt. The date of purchase must be clearly visible on the receipt. Should problems or defects arise please contact your retailer. Exchanging or taking back the product cannot be requested. Repairs do not give entitlement to extension of the warranty. Products that are returned directly to the manufacturer are not eligible for warranty.

This Warranty Clause conforms to European Directive 99/44/EG of 25 M
