Check the tank 6 and the flexible hose 10 for visible damage.
Check that the flexible hose [10] and the weight [11] are securely connected.
Pump the empty pressure sprayer.
Pull the safety val to the side.
You must be able to hear the pressure escaping.
- Bringing into use
- Filling the pressure sprayer container (Fig. B)
Note: Before using the product, check to see that it is in good condition and free of defects.
Press the pump handle downwards.
Note: Before you open the container pull the safety valve 5 to the side to release any residual pressure still present in the container 6.
Turn the cover in anticlockwise direction and draw it with pump 9 out of the container 6.
Now fill the container
Note: Fill the container 6 with only the amount of liquid that you actually need for that particular spraying session by monitor the level scale 12 (not more than 2 l).
Place the cover with pump back into the container and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
Building up the operating pressure
Pull the pump handle and move up and down until the pressure sprayer has been pumped up to a pressure not exceeding the maximum permissible operating pressure of 2 bar.
Note: If the pressure of the air in the container exceeds 2 bar, the pressure is automatically released through the safety valve.
Press the pump handle downwards.
Spraying
Hold the hand and direct the adjustable spray nozzle 8 e.g. at a plant.
Note: You can rotate the spray head to change to different spray function: Straight line by rotating anti-clockwise direction (Fig. C1), Mist by rotating clockwise direction (Fig. C2).
CAUTION! Only the front part of the nozzle 8 in brass is used to adjust the spray function! Do not unscrew the whole of the nozzle holder 8 under any circumstances. Otherwise there is a risk of injury.
Note: The flexible hoge and the weight 11 can move flexibly to assist with the uptake of liquid in the tank 6 if the pressure sprayer is held in different positions (Fig. D).
Note: Push the spray bar back to press the spray button 3. The spraying process begins.
Release the spray button to stop the spraying process.
Note: When the pressure in the container is no longer sufficient to spray, pump the container 6 to increase the pressure again up to but not exceeding the maximum permissible operating pressure of 2 bar (see "Building up the operating pressure").
Pull the safety valve to the side as far as it will go to release the residual pressure in the container 6
- Transport of the pressure sprayer
