How to set the DMX starting address?

Use the menu buttons to navigate to the Addr option, then set the address from d001 to d510. The maximum recommended address is 510 to allow access to all channels.

How to use master/slave mode?

Chain the units via DMX. On the master, set the desired mode (Auto, Sound, etc.). On the slaves, set the SLA option to SLAV. The master will control the slaves.

How to replace the fuse?

Unplug the fixture. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the fuse holder cap. Remove the blown fuse and replace with a fuse of the same type and amperage. Replace the cap and plug in.

Can I use this fixture outdoors?

No, the LED Shadow is rated IP20 and must be used indoors only. Avoid exposure to rain or moisture to prevent fire or electric shock.

How to clean the fixture?

Always disconnect the fixture before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Ensure ventilation slots are not blocked.

What operating modes are available?

Modes include: automatic (5 programs with adjustable speed), sound activation, dimmer (UV 000 to 255), strobe (speed 0-8), and 3-channel DMX. Use the Aut and Sou menus to select them.

How to mount the fixture overhead?

Use the included mounting brackets and an appropriately rated clamp. Always attach a safety cable (e.g., CH-05) to secure the fixture. Read safety instructions before mounting.

What if the fixture does not power on?

First, check the fuse and replace if necessary. Ensure the power supply voltage matches the specified range (100-240 V). If the problem persists, contact technical support.

Can I use a remote control?

Yes, the LED Shadow is compatible with Chauvet's IRC-6 infrared remote (sold separately). No special configuration is required.

How to reset the fixture to defaults?

Go to the SYS menu, then select rEST. Confirm to reset the software to factory settings. All custom settings will be erased.

• The maximum ambient temperature is 104 °F (40 °C). Do not operate this product at higher temperatures.

Unpack your LED Shadow™ and make sure you have received all parts in good condition. If the box or contents appear damaged, notify the carrie immediately, not Chauvet.

Product Description

The LED Shadow™ is a stunning 3-channel LED UV black light effect light. It features blackout, static, dimmer, and strobe, with a fully adjustable flash rate. DMX control, as well as built-in automated and sound programs, allow for easy customization. The LED Shadow™ fits best in the CHS-40 VIP Gear Bag.

Product Overview

AC Power

This product has an auto-ranging power supply that can work with an input voltage range of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the product via breaker or by unplugging it.

Power Linking

For the maximum number of LED Shadow™ products that you can power link at each voltage, see the User Manual or the sticker on the product.

Fuse Replacement

1. Disconnect the product from power.
2. Wedge the tip of a flat-head screwdriver into the slot of the fuse holder.
3. Pry the safety cap out of the housing.
4. Remove the blown fuse from the clip on the front of the safety cap and replace with a fuse of the exact same type and rating.
5. Re-insert the fuse holder and reconnect power.

Mounting

Before mounting this product, read the Safety Notes. Make sure the mounting clamp is capable of supporting the weight of the product. For our Chauvet line of mounting clamps, go to www.chauvetlighting.com/cables-clamps-main.html. There are also two mounting brackets with keyhole mounting holes for flush wall mounting.

Starting Address	To ensure full access to all channels in each DMX mode, the highest recommended DMX address is 510.
Master/Slave Connection	The LED Shadow^TM uses the DMX data connection for its Master/Slave mode. Instructions for connecting and configuring this product for Master/Slave operation are in the User Manual.
IRC-6 Infrared Remote Control	The LED Shadow^TM is compatible with the IRC-6 infrared remote control from Chauvet. For more information on the IRC-6 or to download instructions, go towww.chauvetlighting.com.
