Safety, Environmental and Setup Instructions
- No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- The mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect devices shall remain readily operable.
- Connect this device to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet only. Make sure the mains voltage corresponds with the specifications on the rating plate.
- Make sure the mains cable stays dry during operation. Do not pinch or damage the mains cable in any way.
- A damaged mains cable or plug must immediately be replaced by an authorized service center.
- In case of lightning, immediately disconnect the device from the mains supply.

The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote control.

Remove the battery compartment door by pressing in on the tab and lifting it off.

Insert two (2) AAA size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.

Replace the battery compartment door.

CONNECTION
➢ Ensure that the voltage is the same as that indicated on the identification plate.
- Connect the mains cable to a properly installed safety power socket.
Connect the provided DAB/FM antenna to the antenna socket and align it for best reception.
BASIC OPERATIONS
POWER ON / OFF
In Standby, press "⏻" to turn on the unit.
In on mode, press “ ⏻ ” to turn the unit in standby. The time and date are shown in the display.
SELECTING MODES
Press "FUNCTION" repeatedly to switch between the modes.
ADJUSTING VOLUME
To increase or decrease the volume, rotate "VOLUME" or press "VOL-/+"
MUTE
Press „MUTE“ on the remote control to switch off the volume.
Press the button again or change the volume.
SOUND SETTINGS
This unit provides 5 differences sound mode to enhance your listening experience. You can select the desired effect by pressing “EQ” repeatedly at following sequence:

INFORMATION
Press repeatedly “INFO/MENU” at the unit control to announce the available station or file information’s during radio or MP3 playback.
ERP POWER MANAGEMENT
Due to ErP stage two requirements and protect the environment. The unit will switch to standby mode automatically once no any music playing over 15 minutes.
DAB/FM RADIO
DAB RADIO
- Switch to DAB radio.
- At the first start the unit will automatically start the scan function and search all available stations.
- To select a found station, rotate the "TUNE/ENTER" knob or press the "FOLDER / ST LIST ▼" or "FOLDER / ST LIST ▲" button on the remote control.
If no radio station is found, check the position and connection of the antenna and press "SCAN/DELETE" to start a full scan again.
FM RADIO
Auto tuning
- Set the unit to "FM" mode.
- Press "SCAN/DELETE", the unit will start to scan and stop at next available station.
Manual tuning
Rotating "TUNE/ENTER" to tune by 0.05 MHz steps to the desired station.
Auto memory station
Long press "SCAN/DELETE" button starts complete band scan and storing the found stations to the FM station list.
To select a stored station, press "FOLDER / ST LIST ▲" or "FOLDER / ST LIST ▼" on the remote control.
FM-Stereo reception
Press "TUNE/ENTER" repeatedly; the FM programs are receiving in mono and stereo mode repeatedly. When stereo signals are weak, it is preferable to receive the program in Mono. If stereo signal is being received, the stereo indicator "St" will appear
Preset stations (DAB and FM)
- You can store up to total of 20 radio stations in the memory each.
- When the radio station is playing, press "MEM/CLK-ADJ".
- The program number empty will display.
- Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" to choose the preset number any from 1-20 for storing the desired station.
- Press and hold "TUNE/ENTER" to confirm.
- Repeat steps 2 to 5 until all desired radio stations are stored.
Recall preset stations
- When the desired recall preset stations, press "MEM/CLK-ADJ".
- The preset radio stations number will display.
- Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" to select the required station and press "TUNE/ENTER" to confirm.
Note: In FM mode "TUNE/ENTER" on main unit and / TUNE +" or " / TUNE -" on remote control have same function.
CD
- Select "CD" mode.
- Press to open the CD tray.
- Place a CD with the printed side facing up and then close the CD tray.
- The unit reads in the CD and automatically starts with the first track when a new CD is played. If the CD was played immediately before, the unit starts with the last listened track. To start from the first track, press "STOP ■" and then the "▶II".
Play / Pause mode ▶II
Press "PLAY/PAUSE ▶II" to pause playback, digit will flash on the LCD display.
Press again to resume to playback.
Stop mode ■
Press "STOP ■" to stop playback
Skip mode (UP/FF ▶▶ - DN/FR ◀◀)
During play or pause mode, press "UP/FF ▶" for next track. During play or pause mode, press "DN/FR ◀" for previous track.
For MP3 Disc
- After reading the total number of track and album will be shown on the LCD display. The unit will start to plat directly.
- Rotate "TUNE" or press "FOLDER/ST. LIST ▲ / ▼" to select the desired folder.
- Press "UP/FF ▶" or "DN/FR ◀" to select the track number.
MP3 track format requirement:
- Bit rate: 32 kbps\~320kbps, sampling rate: 32khz, 44.1khz and 48 kHz decodable
- The performance of playing MP3 Disc is various from the quality of recording disc and the method of recording. Furthermore, the searching lead-time for MP3-CD is longer than normal CD due to difference format.
REPEAT/RANDOM MODE
Press "PLAY MODE" during playback to select repeat and random function, a single track, all the tracks repeat or folder repeat (MP3 only) and random can be played in difference mode as follow:

Note: UP/FF ➤” and “DN/FR ◀◀” on main unit and ➤| / TUNE +” or “ ◀◀ / TUNE –” on remote control have same function.
CD PROGRAMMING (remote control only)
Up to 20 tracks can be programmed for disc play in any order. Before use, be sure to be in CD mode stop mode.
- Press "MEM/CLK-ADJ" and "P01" will appear on LCD display.
- Select a desired track by pressing "UP/FF ▶" or "DN/FR ◀".
- Press "MEM/CLK-ADJ" to store the track into memory.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 to enter additional tracks into the memory if necessary.
- When all the desired tracks have been programmed, press "PLAY/PAUSE ▶II" to play the disc in assigned order.
- Press "STOP ■" to stop playback, press it again to clear all stored memory.
- The programming mode will automatically stop if no button is being pressed in a period of about 10 seconds after pressing "MEM/CLK-ADJ".
USB
Connecting
The system is able to playback all MP3 files which stored in the USB (max 16 GB with FAT32 format) memory.
- Set the system to standby mode
- Plug-in the USB with the face up & make sure it going into completely.
- Select "USB mode.
- The system will start reading the storage media automatically after connecting, and LCD display will show the total number of folder and automatically starts with the first track when a new USB is played.
- If the USB was played immediately before, the unit starts with the last listened track. To start from the first track, press "STOP ■" and then the "▶II".
The playback procedures are same as playing CD/MP3 disc above.
Remark
- The system can detect and read the file under MP3 format only at USB mode but no other music file format.
- If connect the system to MP3 player via the USB socket, due to variances in MP3 encoding format, some MP3 player may not be able to play via the USB socket. This is not a malfunction of the system.
- USB port does not support connection with USB extension cable and is not designed for communication with computer directly.
Removing of USB
To remove the USB storage media, change the function mode to CD, Aux or Tuner first. Then unplug it by pulling out the USB socket directly.
PHONO
- Remove the stylus protector.
- Be sure that the tone arm is being detached from the tone arm rest before operating and re-secured again afterwards.

Cartridge Stylus assemblyIMPORTANT before use:
The device has a transport protection!
Rotate this with your hand or a piece of money (clockwise to the right) completely!
Please keep the dust cover open when playback the record.
- Select "Phono" mode.
- Set the speed selector to the proper position depending on the record to be played.
- Place the record on the platter (use the spindle adaptor if required).
- Set the cue lever to the up position.
- Lift the tone arm from the rest and slowly move it to the record side. The platter will start to rotate and position the tone arm over the desired position of the record.
- Pull down the cue lever. The tone arm will come slowly on the recorder and start playback.
- At the end of record, the tone arm will return to the rest position automatically.
- To stop manually, lift the tone arm from the record and return it to the rest.
Play suspension
Set the cueing lever to the up position will life up the tone arm and then stop playback temporarily
Remark:
- Due to the auto return system was mechanical design and reset point will be affected after transportation. Thus, the tone arm will return to the rest automatically when first time place it to the platter and it was not the malfunction
- Due to the length of the record is various, if you find the tone arm cannot return automatically after playback of record. Please return the tone arm back to the rest position manually or adjust the auto return point as below procedure.
Important:
To make sure the turntable can play the record with different standard completely, a hole with "NO OPEN" PVC plate located at the back of the unit to adjust the screw inside the turntable.
When the turntable stop early and the auto-return, pls use a screw driver to turn the screw inside the hole about 45 degree in clockwise direction, if the record still cannot be played completely, stop play and re-turn the screw 45 degree in clockwise direction again, till the turntable can be play the record completely and auto return.
When the turntable cannot be stop and auto return but keep running after playing the record completely, pls use a screw driver to turn the screw inside the hole about 45 degrees in counterclockwise direction, if the record still cannot be played completely, stop play and re-turn the screw 45 degree in counter-clockwise direction again, till the turntable can be play the record completely and auto return.
CASSETTE
Select tape mode
Cassette playback: The system will start the playback automatically after inserting of cassette tape
Stop and ejection: Press the "TAPE FORWARD/EJECT" button completely inwards and the cassette tape will be ejected though the cassette door cover. The "TAPE FORWARD/EJECT" button will keeping at lowest height position.
Fast forward: Press the “TAPE FORWARD/EJECT” button half inwards during Playback mode, the tape winding forward direction. The “Tape forward/eject” button will keep at middle height position.
Slightly press the "TAPE FORWARD/EJECT" button again to resume normal playback. The "TAPE FORWARD/EJECT" button will resume to the highest position.

Remark
- Make sure the direction is correct when inserting the tape into the system.
- There is some searching noise can be heard and the system cannot perform normal playback function during fast forward mode.
- This is recommended to take out the cassette tape from the system every times after listening and don't leave the cassette tape inside the system when not under playback mode.
BLUETOOTH®
Note: This unit only contains a Bluetooth receiver. It is not possible to connect a Bluetooth Headset or similar it! Make sure the working distance is within 10 meters.
- Select "Bluetooth" mode.
- The LCD display will flash with Bluetooth icon, it means the BT is in searching mode.
- Switch on the Bluetooth feature of your BT device (such as mobile phone) and select "NR565" BT equipment to connecting.
- Once the connecting was finish and connect successfully, the Bluetooth icon will become solid.
- Start to playback adjust the volume your BT device and enjoy the music by the main unit.
AUX-IN
Connect another audio device, e.g. (portable) CD player, MP3 player, (portable) cassette player, iPod, etc. To this system via a cord with 3.5mm diameter jack plugs (not supplied). Connect one end of this cord to the output of the external device and the other end to the aux-in jack at the side of the unit.
Select "AUX" mode and start to playback and adjust the volume at your external device
ENCODING
The system is able to encode CD/Tuner/Aux/Phono or cassette tape to MP3 file on USB. The system will create a music folder name – “RECORD” and encode bitrate default at 128kbps.
A) CD encoding (1 track/1 disc at 1x speed)
- Perform normal playback of the CD track you want to encode / record.
- Press “●REC” the display will show “REC” and “00:01” start time.
- The unit is starting the record and separate the track on USB
Remark:
- The recording speed is 1:1 and according to the actual playing time of the CD track
- The recording format is preset at – MP3 bit rate: 128 kbps, sampling rate: 44.1kHz
- Press "STOP ■" to interrupt the recording mode any time.
- After completing of encoding, unit will stop playback automatically
B) DAB/FM encoding
- Operate tuner mode refer above listening to radio section to receive the station you would like to encode.
- Press “●REC” the display will show “REC” and “00:01” start time.
- Press "STOP ■" button to interrupt the recording mode any time.
C) Cassette/Aux /Phono/BT encoding
1) Plug in the USB pen drive for recording (make sure it has enough empty space).
2) Set the unit to your desired mode by function button and then start to playback the track would like to encode.
3) Press “● REC” the display will and show “REC” and “00:01” start time.
4) Press "STOP ■" to interrupt the recording mode any time.
D) track separation (on remote control only)
You can divide the recording music from tape or Aux/DAB etc. in to USB track by track during encoding. Every time when press the “ ” track separation) button (on remote control) once during encoding from tape or Aux in, the system will generate a new track and continuous the recording. The text “SAVE” at LCD display will flash one time, it means the unit is creating a new track successfully.
E) File delete at USB (by remote control)
The system is able to erase the file stored inside the USB pen drive by following: -
1) Insert the media storage and set at "USB" mode.
2) Stop the playback
3) Press "SCAN/DELETE" and the LCD display will show (del ---001)
4) Press "UP/FF ▶" or "DN/FR" ◀ in case you want to delete another file.
5) Press the "SCAN/DELETE" again to confirm the delete
Remark:
- Press "STOP ■" once at remote handset to quite delete mode
SLEEP
- Press "SLEEP" button.
- Select needed sleep time by rotate TUNE -/+ and confirm by "TUNE/ENTER".
- System will stop and go to standby mode automatically after running the selected time.
- To cancel the sleep mode, press "SLEEP" and select SLEEP off and press "TUNE/ENTER".
ALARM
This function allows the system to turn on automatically and wake you up by DAB, FM Radio, Buzzer mode respectively.
In standby modes, press [TIMER/SLEEP] button to enter the setting alarm menu.
Rotate [TUNE -/+] for below details and pressing the "TUNE/ENTER" to set the Alarm.

Select Alarm1 / Alarm2 by rotate "TUNE/ENTER", press the "TUNE/ENTER" to confirm. Off or On will be announced.

Press the "TUNE/ENTER", to enable/disable the selected Alarm.

Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" to set alarm time and confirm with "TUNE/ENTER", "Time: 00:00" (hour:minute) will be shown on the screen

Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" and press "TUNE/ENTER" to set and confirm the hours and minutes.

Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" to "Days" press "TUNE/ENTER" and select with "TUNE/ENTER" between "Daily / Once / Weekdays / Weekend" and confirm with "TUNE/ENTER".

Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" to "Alarm type" press "TUNE/ENTER" to select with "TUNE/ENTER" between DAB/FM/BUZZER press "TUNE/ENTER" to confirm. May you have to select the preset with "TUNE/ENTER" and confirm with "TUNE/ENTER" too.

Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" to "Volume", press "TUNE/ENTER" to confirm, select with "TUNE/ENTER" the desired alarm volume and confirm with "TUNE/ENTER".

Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" to "Save" and confirm the settings by pressing "TUNE/ENTER". Display announcement is confirming the saving.
NOTES:
It is very importance to set the alarm to be ON position, and the alarm symbol will be shown on the display.
Once the alarm has been set and activated, when the time on the clock is the same as the alarm time that has been set, the unit will ring.
To disable the alarm function, follow the step 2 set to off (in the section above) and save the setting (step 8), the Alarm symbol disappear.
If a daily alarm has been set, the alarm symbol will remain on the screen and the alarm will sound again on the next set day unless the alarm has been turned off.
HEADPHONE

To listen to music privately, use headphones with a 3.5 stereo jack plug and connect it to the headphones socket. The speakers will then be muted. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
LINE OUT
You can connect the system to your whole hi-fi system by connecting the line out socket to the auxiliary input socket with an RCA cable (not included).
SYSTEM SETTINGS
Open the system menu during standby with the "INFOMENU" button.
Select the available options below with rotate "TUNE/ENTER" knob and confirm by press "TUNE/ENTER".
DRC (Dynamic range compression)
This function (when available from broadcaster) reduces the difference between the loudest and quietest audio being broadcast. You can choose between off, low and high
ANNOUNCEMENT
Enable/disable radio station announcements like traffic announcement.
LANGUAGE
Selection of the available language announcements.
PRUNE
You can remove invalid station from the DAB station list
STATION ORDER
You can sort the DAB station by alphanumeric, active and Multiplex.
BACKLIGHT
Selection of display backlight level and timeout
TIME SETUP (manual time /date setting)
- Press "TUNE/ENTER", "Set clock" will be shown on the screen.
- Press "TUNE/ENTER", "Set clock 00:00" (hour:minute) will be shown on the screen.
- Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" and press "TUNE/ENTER" to set and confirm the time.
- Rotate "TUNE/ENTER"], "Set date" will be shown on the screen.
- Press "TUNE/ENTER" to enter setting date mode, "01-01-2022" will be shown on the screen.
- Rotate "TUNE/ENTER" and press "TUNE/ENTER" to set and confirm the day, month and year.
- Rotate "TUNE/ENTER", "Auto update" will be shown on the screen.
- Press "TUNE/ENTER" to enter the setting mode. "From radio" or "No update" will be shown on the screen by rotating "TUNE/ENTER". You may choose the desired update mode by pressing "TUNE/ENTER"].
- Rotate "TUNE/ENTER", "Set 12/24 hour" will be shown on the screen.
- Press "TUNE/ENTER" to enter the setting mode. "Set 12 hour" or "Set 24hour" will be shown on the screen by rotating "TUNE/ENTER". You may choose the desired mode by pressing "TUNE/ENTER".
