KONTROLA PUNJAČA

Ako se baterija ne puni pravilno:

  • Provjerite nekom drugom alatku izlaznu struju. Uvjerite se da utičnica nije izolirana.
  • Provjerite da na kontaktima punjača nije došlo do kratkog spoja uslijed krša ili drugog materijala.
  • Provjerite je li konektor ispravno umetnut u mašinu (s punjačem baterija CG 20 Li B)

6. ČIŠĆENJE

Prije nego što očistite punjač ili kada u njemu nema baterija, trebate ga iščupati.

Da biste izbjegli rizik od požara, električnog udara

7. SKLADIŠTENJE

Ako se baterija i punjač neće koristiti duže vrijeme, uklonite bateriju iz punjača (ili iz mašine, ako postoji) i odspojite AC utičnicu.

Ako bateriju ne budete punili dugo vremena, morate je čuvati u hladu, u svježoj prostoriji bez vlage, na temperaturi između 0\~45°C.

VAŽNO U slučaju dužeg nekorištenja, napunite bateriju svaka dva mjeseca da produžite njen vijek trajanja.

8. ASISTENCIJA I POPRAVKA

Ovaj priručnik pruža sva uputstva potrebna za upravljanje mašinom i za njeno osnovno ispravno održavanje koje može izvršti i sam korisnik.

Sve operacije podešavanja i održavanja koje nisu opisane u ovom priručniku moraju se izvršiti kod ovlaštenog zastupnika ili specijalizirane servisne službe, koja posjeduje originalne rezervne dijelove, znanje i alat potreban da se ispravno izvrše pomenuti zahvati te da se zadrži izvorni stepen sigurnosti mašine i izvorni uslovi.

1. GENERAL ASPECTS

1.1 HOW TO READ THE MANUAL

NOTE or | IMPORTANT These give details or further information on what has already been said, and aim to prevent damage to the machine.

2. SAFETY REGULATIONS

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

⚠️ Keep these instructions for future reference! It is important to read and understand the instructions provided in this manual in order to avoid serious injuries, fire hazards, explosions and dangers from electric shocks and electric arcs:

2.1 BATTERY

a) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery pack. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury or fire.
b) Make sure that the machine is switched off before inserting the battery. Inserting a battery in a machine which is switched on can cause a fire.
c) Always remove the battery pack before cleaning, inspecting or servicing the tool.
d) Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
e) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from battery.

Electrolytes released from battery pack chemical leakage are corrosive and toxic. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns. Do NOT allow chemical substances to come into contact with eyes, skin and, above all, do not ingest them. If chemicals in the battery come into contact with the eyes, wash them

immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical care immediately.

If the outer seal breaks and chemicals in the battery come into contact with the skin: wash immediately with soap and water, neutralise with lemon juice, vinegar or other mild acids.

f) Stop using the battery if it produces unusual smells, becomes hot or changes colour/shape and looks abnormal.

⚠️ If the battery pack cracks or breaks, with or without chemical leakage, do not recharge or use it.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR IT!

In order to avoid accidents and risks of fire, explosion or electric shock and to prevent damage to the environment:

• Cover the battery terminals with strong adhesive tape.
- DO NOT attempt to remove or destroy any part of the battery pack.
- DO NOT attempt to open the battery pack.
- Dispose of and replace it with a new battery pack.

g) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

h) Do not expose the battery to fresh or salt water.
i) Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130 °C may cause explosion. Always keep it at a normal room temperature.
j) The cells in the battery pack may leak if used too much or at extreme temperatures.
k) Do not attempt to short-circuit the battery pack terminals. Do not switch the negative and positive battery terminals. Do not connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery to metal objects.
I) When transporting accumulators, make sure the contacts never come into contact with each other and never use metal containers to transport them.
m) Do not disassemble the battery.
n) Do not hit, tap or stand on the battery.
o) Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

2.2 BATTERY CHARGER

The charger is designed for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. Some other types of batteries may explode, resulting in personal injury and property damage.

a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

b) Do not recharge the battery pack in rain or humid conditions.
c) Do not immerse the tool, battery pack or charger in water or other liquids.
d) Do not allow liquid to get inside the charger.
e) The charger shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no liquid container, such as pots, shall be placed above the charger.
f) Never use the battery charger in environments in the presence of vapours, flammable substances or on easily flammable surfaces such as paper, fabric, etc. The battery charger heats up during recharging and may cause a fire.
g) Do not let the battery pack or charger overheat. If they are hot, let them cool down before use.
h) Charge only at room temperature, between 0^ + 45^ . Do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the specified temperature range. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
i) Do not probe the charger with conductive materials.
j) Do not use the charger for other purposes than those specified in this manual.
k) Do not cover the ventilation grids on the top of the charger. Do not place the charger on a soft surface such as a blanket or pillow. Keep the ventilation grids of the charger clean.
I) Prevent small metal objects or materials such as steel wool, aluminium foil, or other extraneous particles from entering the charger cavities.
m) Do not attempt to connect two chargers at the same time.
n) Before use, check that the output voltage and current of the battery charger are suitable for charging the battery pack.
o) If the output polarity does not match the charging polarity, Do not use the charger.
p) Do not open the cover under any circumstances. If the cover is damaged, the charger can no longer be used.
q) The charger external flexible cable cannot be replaced; if the cable is damaged, the whole charger must be disposed of (for CG 20 Li, CGD 20 Li).

If the cord set is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord set available from the manufacturer or its service agent (for CG 20 Li B).

r) The line voltage can be disconnected by pulling the mains socket.
s) Before using the charger, check the available voltage in each country.
t) Do not mount the charger on the wall. Place it on a flat, solid surface.

2.3 ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL

PROTECTION AND

The following toxic and corrosive materials are found within the battery pack used with this tool: Lithium-ion is a toxic material.

All toxic materials should be disposed of properly to prevent environmental contamination.

Before disposing of damaged or broken lithium-ion battery packs, contact your local waste disposal

agency or the local Environmental Protection Agency for specific information and instructions.

Dispose of batteries in a certified lithium-ion recycling and/or disposal facility.

  • Do not dispose of batteries with domestic waste.
  • Do not burn.
  • Do not place batteries where they could become part of a local waste landfill or municipal solid waste.
    • Take them to an authorized recycling centre.

Do not throw electrical equipment away with domestic waste. In observance of European Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic equipment waste and its implementation, in observance of UK Regulation "The waste electrical

and electronic equipment regulations 2013 (as amended)" and in accordance with national regulations, electrical equipment that has reached the end of its product life must be collected separately and recycled in an ecologically compatible way. If electrical equipment is disposed of in dumps or in landfills, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and contaminate the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. For further information on the disposal of this product, contact your dealer or a domestic waste collection service.

At the end of their working life, dispose of batteries paying due attention to the

environment. Batteries contain material classified as hazardous for you and the environment. They must be removed and

disposed of separately at a facility that accepts lithium-ion batteries.

Separate waste collection of the products and packaging used allows the materials to be recycled and reused. Reuse of recycled materials help to prevent environmental pollution and reduces the demand for raw materials.

3. SAFETY SIGNS

Various symbols appear on the battery and charger.

Meaning of the symbols:

Do not expose the accumulator to sunlight when the temperature is higher than 45°C.
Do not immerse the accumulator in water and do not expose it to humidity.
Do not throw batteries into a fire. EXPLOSION HAZARD!
At the end of their working life, dispose of batteries paying due attention to the environment.

4. CHECKING OF BATTERY POWER RESERVE

Press the battery capacity indicator key (1). The lights (2) will turn on depending on the capacity level of the battery. See the diagram below:

NOTE During use, the battery is protected against total drainage with a protective device that switches off the machine and stops it from working.

5. BATTERY CHARGING

The battery must always be charged:

  • Before using the machine for the first time after purchase.
  • Before leaving the machine disused for a long period (over 30 days) (par. 7).
  • Before starting up the machine after a prolonged period of inactivity.

Failure in following the procedure or in charging the battery could permanently damage the battery elements. A flat battery must be recharged as soon as possible.

NOTE The battery can be recharged at any time, even partially, with no risk of damaging it.

NOTE The battery is equipped with a guard that inhibits recharging if the battery temperature is not between 0 and +40 °C.

  1. Connect the charger to an AC outlet (1).
  2. Put the battery pack (2) into the charger (3).
  3. The LED charger lights (4) and LED battery lights (5) will light in a specific order to communicate the current battery status.

Charging can be done directly on the machine, leaving the batteries inserted and connecting the connector (A) to the machine, using its own charging dock (B).

The charging dock (B) can be fixed directly to the wall or slide on the rail (C).

5.1 CHECKING THE CHARGER

If the battery pack does not charge properly:

  • Check the output power with another tool. Make sure that the outlet is not isolated.
  • Check the charger contacts against short circuit caused by debris or other materials.
  • Check that the connector is fully inserted into the machine (with charger CG 20 Li B)

6. CLEANING

Unplug the charger before cleaning or when there is no battery pack inside.

To avoid the risk of fire and electric shock:

  • Do not use damp cloths or detergents on the battery or the battery charger.
  • Clean the outside of the charger with a soft, dry cloth. Do not rinse or clean with water.

7. STORAGE

If the battery and charger are not used for a long period of time, remove the battery from the charger (or from the machine, if provided) and disconnect the AC outlet.

If the battery is not charged for a long period of time, it must be kept in a cool, shaded place without humidity, with environmental temperature between 0\~45°C.

IMPORTANT If unused for any length of time, recharge the battery every two months to prolong its working life.

8. ASSISTANCE AND REPAIRS

This manual provides all the necessary information to run the machine and for correct basic maintenance operations which can be performed by the user.

Any regulations and maintenance operations not described herein must be carried out by your Dealer or Authorised Service Centre, which have original spare parts and the necessary knowledge and equipment to ensure that the work is carried out correctly, maintaining the correct degree of safety and the original operating conditions of the machine.

Any operations performed in unauthorized centres or by unqualified persons will totally invalidate the Warranty and all obligations and responsibilities of the Manufacturer.

Non-original parts and accessories are not approved; use of non-original spare parts and accessories will jeopardize

the safety of the machine and relieve the Manufacturer from all obligations or liabilities.

9. WARRANTY COVERAGE

The warranty conditions are intended for consumers only, i.e. non-professional operators.

The warranty covers all material quality and manufacturing defects recognised during the warranty period by your Dealer or Authorised Service Centre.

The warranty is restricted to the repair or replacement of components recognised as faulty.

The warranty only applies to machines subjected to regular maintenance.

The warranty does not cover damages resulting from:

  • Failure to become familiar with the documentation accompanying the machine (Instruction manuals).
    • Professional use
  • Carelessness, negligence
  • External causes (lightning, impact, presence of foreign bodies inside the machine) or incidents
  • Incorrect use or assembly or prohibited by the manufacturer
  • Poor and/or incorrect maintenance
  • Modification to the machine
  • Use of non-genuine spare parts (adaptable parts)

The warranty does not also cover any ancillary expenses related to the enforcement of the warranty, such as costs incurred to travel to the user's location, transfer of the machine to the Dealer, rental of replacement equipment or calling of independent enterprises to perform maintenance work.

The user is protected by his or her own national legislation. The user's rights under the national laws or his or her own country are not in any way restricted by this warranty.

NAPOMENA Za vreme upotrebe, baterija je zaštićena od totalnog pražnjenja preko zaštitnog uređaja koji isključuje mašinu i blokira njen rad.

5. PUNJENJE BATERIJE

Bateriju obavezno treba napuniti:

  • Pre prve upotrebe nakon kupovine (bateriju ne šaljemo napunjenu do kraja);
  • Svaki put kad planirate da duže ne koristite mašinu (duže od 30 dana) (par. 7);
  • Pre puštanja mašine u rad nakon dužeg perioda nekorišćenja.

U slučaju nepoštovanja postupka ili neizvršenog punjenja baterije, delovi baterije se mogu trajno oštetiti. Ispražnjena baterija mora se što pre napuniti.

NAPOMENA Baterija se može napuniti u svakom trenutku, čak i delimično, a da ne postoji rizik da se ošteti.

NAPOMENA Baterija je opremljena zaštitom koja sprečava ponovno punjenje ako temperatura baterije nije između 0 i+40 °C.

  1. Povežite punjač u utičnicu AC (1).
  2. Stavite bateriju (2) na punjač (3).
  3. LED svetla na punjaču (4) i na bateriji (5) zasvetleće da označe trenutno stanje baterije.
