How to charge the battery for the first time?

Before first use, charge the included NC accumulator with the dedicated charger for about 5 hours. Full capacity is reached after about five charge/discharge cycles.

What maximum pressure can the pump reach?

The pump can generate up to 9 bars of pressure. Never exceed this limit to avoid risk of bursting.

What items can I inflate with this pump?

It is designed to inflate vehicle and bicycle tires, as well as inflatable toys, sports and beach items. It is not suitable for large items (boats, large mattresses) or industrial use.

How to use the included adapters?

Use the bike adapter (ref. 8) on bicycle valves, the ball needle (ref. 9) for balls, and the mattress nozzle (ref. 10) for air mattresses. Attach them to the pump or pressure hose.

What to do if the battery does not charge?

Check that the power outlet is live and the charger contacts are clean. If the problem persists, send the charger and accumulator to customer service.

Can I use the pump continuously?

No, the operating time must not exceed 10 minutes per cycle. Let the compressor cool for about 10 minutes between each inflation to avoid overheating.

How to clean and maintain the device?

Use a dry soft cloth to clean the surface. Never use detergents. Store the device in a dry, frost-free place. Always remove the battery before any maintenance.

What to do in case of contact with battery acid?

In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with water and soap. If acid gets into eyes, rinse with clear water for at least 10 minutes and consult a doctor immediately.

Where can I dispose of a used battery?

Do not dispose of accumulators in household waste. They contain toxic cadmium. Return them free of charge to ISC company or drop them at an appropriate collection point. Ask your local council.

Is this pump suitable for truck tires?

No, it is not suitable for high-pressure tires like those of trucks, tractors or trailers. Use it only for light vehicle and bicycle tires.

Important information:

Be sure to read the following information before you use your cordless air pump for the first time:

1. The replaceable NC battery pack for the cordless air pump is not charged when delivered. The battery pack has to be charged before you use the tool for the first time.
2. Charge the battery pack with the charger supplied. An empty battery pack requires a maximum charging period of 5 hours. Do not use the supplied charger to charge other items of equipment.
3. The battery pack does not reach its maximum capacitance until it has been charged and discharged approximately five times.
4. NC battery packs lose their charge even when they are not being used. Regular charging is therefore recommended.
5. Please check the data marked on the rating plate of the battery charger. Be sure to connect the battery charger to a power supply with the voltage marked on the rating plate.
6. In heavy use the battery pack will become warm. Allow the battery pack to cool to room temperature before commencing with the charging.
7. Always check the actual air pressure of the object before you start to pump it up.
8. The objects to be pumped must be firmly held or clamped.
9. Always check that the pump and the object to be

pumped up are correctly connected.

1. Before you attach the pressure hose or adapter, tighten the union nut securely.
2. Do not unscrew the union nut during use.
3. Activate the transport brace when not in use.
4. Always use the pressure hose for difficult to access positions. To do this, unscrew the union nut, attach the pressure hose by inserting with a twisting movement and retighten the union nut.
5. The cordless air pump can generate up to 9 bar of air pressure. In order to avoid bursting the object you are filling, always comply with the instructions for that object.
6. Never exceed the specified air pressure! Bursting objects can cause serious injury
7. Never clean your clothes with compressed air.
8. Do not blast persons or animals with
   compressed air.
9. Keep the air vents clean.
10. Take steps to ensure that the cordless air pump does not draw in any dust or contaminants.
11. Do not use the cordless air pump to fill high-pressure tires, such as those on heavy duty trucks, tractors and trailers.
12. If you wish to fill several objects, allow the compressor to cool down for approximately 10 minutes each time between filling each object. The maximum operation time of the unit is 10 minutes. Do not exceed this limit!
13. Never subject the device to so much load that it stops operating.
14. Use only genuine accessories.

Safety information

1. Protect the cordless air pump and the charger from moisture and rain.
2. Keep the battery charger and the cordless air pump out of children's reach.
3. Wear suitable work clothes. Wear safety goggles.
4. Do not use the cordless air pump or the charger near vapors and inflammable liquids.
5. Do not throw battery packs into an open fire. There is a risk of explosion!
6. Used and defective rechargeable batteries are not allowed to be disposed of with normal domestic waste. Respect your environment; cadmium is toxic. Used and defective rechargeable batteries can be sent free of charge to ISC GmbH for proper disposal or taken to an appropriate collection point. Please ask your local authority if you do not know where the nearest collection point is.
7. Avoid contact with a leaking battery pack. In

case of accidental contact, wash the affected area of skin with soap and water. If battery acids gets in your eye, rinse out the eye with clear water for at least 10 minutes and seek a doctor's advice immediately.

1. Protect the battery charger and its cable from damage and sharp edges. Have damaged cables repaired without delay by a qualified electrician.
2. Check your tool for damage. Repairs may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
3. Make sure that the contacts of the battery pack do not come into contact with other metallic objects such as nails or screws. There is a risk of short-circuiting!

Areas of application

This device is intended solely for pumping up vehicle tires, bicycle tires and blow-up leisure, sports and beach articles. It is not suitable for large-volume articles (e.g. rubber dinghies, large airbeds). It is not intended for industrial use.

Starting up:

Charging the NC battery pack

1. Before you remove or insert the battery, activate the transport brace (Pos. 3). To do this, slide the slide button for the transport brace to the left (lock is closed). Remove the battery pack (Pos. 6) from the handle, pressing the pushlock buttons (A) at the side to do so.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as that marked on the rating plate of the battery charger. Plug the battery charger (Pos. 11) in the plug socket and connect the charging cable to the charging adapter (Pos. 12). The green LED will illuminate to show that the mains power is connected to the charging adapter.
3. Plug the battery pack (Pos. 6) in the charging adapter (Pos. 12). The green LED and the red LED will illuminate simultaneously and the battery will start charging. An empty battery pack requires a maximum charging period of 5 hours. The temperature of the battery pack may rise slightly during the charging operation. This is normal.

Important! It does not switch off automatically when fully charged!

If the battery pack fails to charge, please check whether there is voltage at the socket-outlet whether there is good contact at the charging contacts of the battery station (pos. 12)

To ensure that the NC battery pack provides long service, you should take care to recharge it promptly. You must recharge the battery pack when you notice that the power of the cordless air pump drops.

Never fully discharge the battery pack. This will cause it to develop a defect!

ON/OFF switch

- Insert the charged battery in the handle until it locks into place. Deactivate the transport brace (Pos. 3). To do this, slide the slide button to its position on the right (lock is open).

●Switch the device on and off with the ON/OFF switch (Pos. 4).

Important! A force of over 60N exerted on the ON/OFF switch may cause the device to switch on in spite of the transport brace!

Pumping up:

Important! The in-built pressure manometer is not calibrated. After you have pumped up a tire, therefore, you will have to check the air pressure using a calibrated air gauge.

Pumping up vehicle tires

Attach the cordless air pump to the valve either directly or with the pressure hose (Pos. 7).

Pumping up bicycle tires

To pump up bicycle tires with conventional valves, screw the adapter (Pos. 8) onto the valve. Attach the cordless air pump to the adapter or screw the pressure hose onto the adapter, then pump up the bicycle tire. For bicycles with car valves, attach the cordless air pump to the valve either directly or with the pressure hose (Pos. 7).

Pumping up other objects

To pump up leisure, sports and beach articles, use the ball adapter (Pos. 9) or airbed adapter (Pos. 10). In doing so, take care to comply with the instructions for use of the blow-up object!

Care and maintenance

Always remove the rechargeable battery from the device before starting any maintenance or repair

work. Store the device in a dry location at above freezing temperature. Do not expose the device to strong sunlight. Do not open the rechargeable battery / device.

Wherever possible, clean the surface with only a soft dry cloth – do not use aggressive solvents. If absolutely necessary, use a slightly damp rag to remove dirt.
