USER MANUAL FD 4011 AMICA

Note! To minimize the risk of re, electric shock or injury:

  • Carefully read this instrucon before using the appliance.
  • The appliance becomes hot during operaon. When turned o some parts may sll be hot for some me.
  • Children do not realize the dangers that can arise when using electrical appliances; therefore keep the appliance out of reach of children.
  • Do not immerse the appliance or its base in water or other liquids. Immersing in water may cause an electric shock.
  • If water spills on the exter- nal components of the appli- ance, dry it thoroughly before switching back on.
  • Do not touch wet surfaces in contact with the appliance connected to power supply, immediately disconnect it from the mains.
  • Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage to the power cord, or if the appli- ance has been dropped on the oor.
  • Aer use, always pull out the plug from the socket, and also in case of any malfuncon, be- fore cleaning or before chang- ing accessories.
  • When pulling out the plug from the wall outlet, never pull by the cord, only the plug, holding the socket with your other hand.

5. Heat and froth milk buon

USE THE APPLIANCE TO: - Froth milk - Heat milk - Heat and froth milk BEFORE FIRST USE:

1. Aer unpacking the appliance, make sure that all the aachments

are included and there are no visible signs of damage.

2. Before rst use, wash all parts that come in contact with the food

3. Do not wash the pitcher or base in water. Clean the pitcher and

base using a damp cloth and then wipe dry.

4. The appliance’s lid is equipped with a mixing unit and a froth-

ing ring wand. The frothing ring wand can be used to froth cold or heated milk. The mixing unit is used to sr the milk while heang to prevent it from scking. MILK FROTHING FUNCTION:

1. Place the appliance on a at surface.

2. Fill the pitcher with your preferred amount of milk and put the

lid on. NOTE! The maximum amount of milk allowed is 150 ml to avoid overowing aer frothing. Use full-fat milk with 3.2% fat content for frothing.

3. Place the pitcher on the power base and plug into the wall power

socket, all indicators will light up white.

4. Press the frothing buon once, the corresponding indicator will

turn white and ash. The mixing unit and frothing ring wand rotate separately while frothing. The heang element will not heat up. When nished, both the mixing unit and the frothing ring wand will come to a stop. NOTE! During appliance operaon, press the frothing buon to stop it.

5. When the appliance stops, open the lid and pour the frothed milk.

During appliance operaon, press the heat buon to stop it. The mixing unit srs the milk to prevent it from scking. It does not froth milk. When the appliance stops, open the lid and pour the warm milk.

6. Always unplug the appliance from power supply when not in use.

HEAT AND FROTH MILK FUNCTION:

1. Place the appliance on a at surface.

2. Fill the pitcher with your preferred amount of milk and put the

lid on. NOTE! The maximum amount of milk allowed is 150 ml to avoid overowing aer srring or frothing. Use full-fat milk with 3.2% fat content for frothing.

3. Place the pitcher on the power base and plug into the wall power

socket, all indicators will light up white.

4. Press the heat and froth buon once, the corresponding indicator

will turn white and ash. The appliance will start. When the milk temperature reaches approximately 70 ± 10°C, the heang element will stop heang and the mixing unit will stop automacally.

6. Always unplug the appliance from power supply when not in use.

NOTE! Do not open the lid when the appliance operates. The appli- ance won’t start if you aempt to start it before you close the lid. Warning! Please ensure there is at least a 3-minute gap between two consecuve cycles, otherwise the appliance may trigger au- tomac overheang protecon aer 5 connuous cycles and the indicator will turn red and ash. Aer approximately 10 minutes, the appliance will enter standby, allowing you to resume using it. CLEANING AND CARE: Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down. WARNING! Do not immerse the power base in water and protect against contact with moisture.
