INTENDED USE:

WET & DRY VACUUM CLEANER

• The appliance is intended for use as a wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
• Failure to comply with the abovementioned conditions will lead to cancellation of the guarantee.

INTENDED USE:

ASH VACUUM

• The appliance is intended for non professional use.
• This appliance is intended to pick up cold ash from fireplaces, chimneys, ovens, ash-trays, and similar places of ash accumulation.
• It has been designed to vacuum only cold ash; it is not suitable for boilers or for fuel oil stoves nor can it be used for plaster powder or cement dust.

Area of application:

• Substance to be vacuumed – cold ashes from fire - places, wood/coal stoves, ashtrays, grill.
• Empty and clean vacuum cleaner before and after vacuuming to avoid the collection of materials that could pose a fire hazard in the vacuum cleaner.

Restriction of use:

Warning; risk of fire / flammable materials.

• Do not use for the separation of health-hazardous dusts (dust classes L, M, H).
• Do not vacuum soot.
  • Vacuum only ashes from admissible fuels.
• Do not vacuum any hot, burning or glowing objects.
• Do not vacuum any object that are hotter than > 40 °C.
• Do not vacuum any flammable substances.
• Do not use paper dust bags or bags made from similar flammable materials;
• Do not use any other vacuum cleaner to vacuum ash;
• Do not rest the ash vacuum cleaner on flammable or polymeric surfaces, including carpeting and vinyl tile.

SAFETY

GENERAL WARNING

CAUTION!

1 · Components used in packaging (if plastic bags) can be dangerous keep away from children and animals.
2 · Operators shall be adequately instructed on the use of these machines.
3 · The use of this machine for anything not specified in this manual may be dangerous and must be avoided.
5 · Before emptying the tank, switch off the machine and disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
6 · Always check the appliance before use.
7 · The suction nozzle should be kept away from the body, especially delicate areas such as the eyes, ears and mouth.
8 · The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
9 · Children being supervised not to play with the

appliance.

10·The equipment should be correctly assembled before use.
11· Ensure that power sockets used ore correct for the machine.
12· Never grasp the mains plug with wet hands.
13. Check the voltage indicated on the rating plate is the same as the supply voltage.
14. These machine are not designed for picking up health endangering dusts or inflammable/explosives substances.
15· Never leave the equipment unattended whilst in use.
16. Never carry out any maintenance on the machine without first disconnecting from the mains supply or when it is left unattended or reachable by children or disables.
17. The mains supply cable should not be used to pull or lift the machine.
18· The machine should never be emersed in water or a pressure jet of water used for cleaning.
19. When using the machine in wet rooms (e.g. in the bathroom) only connect it to sockets which are connected in series with a ground fault circuit interrupter. In case of doubt, consult an electrician.
20· Periodically examine the power cord and machine for damage. If any damage is found, do not use the appliance but contact your service centre for repair.
21. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
22. Should extension cables be used, ensure that these lay on dry surfaces and protected against water jets.

- The use of extension leads, connectors or adaptors that do not conform to the applicable regulations is not permitted.

1. If the equipment should overturn it is recommended that the machine should be stood up before switching off.

27· Aggressive solvents or detergents should not be used.

- The machine must be always used on horizontal bases.

- Keep the machine on plane surfaces.

26· The equipment should not be used to pick up water from containers, lavatories, tubs, etc.
14. These machine are not designed for picking up health endangering dusts or inflammable/explosives substances.
23· Before vacuuming liquids, check the float functions correctly. When vacuuming liquids, and when the tank is full, a fl oat closes the suction opening, and the vacuum operation is interrupted. Then switch off the machine, disconnect the plug and empty the tank. Regularly clean the water level limiting device (fl oat) and examine it for signs of damage.

1. If foam/liquid should come from the machine exhaust switch off immediately.

- If the appliance is used with especially fine dust (size below 0.3 m ) the filter supplied will require cleaning more frequently. For especially demanding applications, the use of specific filters supplied as an optional (Hepa) may be necessary.

ASH VACUUM PRECAUTIONS

see fig. ⑤

• Do not vacuum hot ashes, burning coals or liquids. Make sure that the material to be vacuumed is not burning.
• If ashes hose C becomes hot during use, turn the device off immediately and let it cool.
• Do not empty the drum into a container which is easily inflammable and make sure that the ashes are completely cool.
  • · Always check the contents of the drum; the ashes must never reach the suction inlet H.

If there should be a reduction in the suction power:

• Be sure that switch is in off position (0) OFF and connect the machine to a suitable socket.
• The machine must be always kept on horizontal bases, in a safe and stable way.
• Insert the suitable filters for the proper use.
• Never use the appliance without filters.
• Use the most suitable accessories for the requested usage.
• Put switch on (-) ON position in order to start the machine.
• (see fig. ⑦) Pneumatic filter shaker T If there should be a reduction in the suction power, operate the filter reset buton T several times to reset the filter.
• When job is over, switch off (0) OFF and keep away the plug from the socket.
• If the drum's suction force decreases, verify how full drum I is and if necessary, empty it.
• Check if the net of drum F is clogged. If necessary, clean it with a jiggling movement, a brush or by washing it.
• When the stove or fireplace has been cleaned, the appliance and suction filter must then be cleaned

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

The unit is maintenance-free.

- The machine shall be disconnected from its power source, by removing the plug from the socket-outlet, during cleaning or maintenance

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

All our machines are subjected to strict tests and are covered against manufacturing defects in accordance with applicable regulations. The warranty is effective from the date of purchase.

The following are not included in the warranty: - Parts subject to normal wear. - Rubber parts, charcoal, filters and the accessories and optional accessories. - Accidental damage, caused by transport, neglect or inadequate treatment, incorrect or improper use and installation failing - The warranty shall not cover any cleaning operations to which the operative components may be subjected, such as clogged nozzles and filter blocked due to limestones. This machine is intended to be used for domestic and hobby work: the warranty does not cover any other different kind of use.

DISPOSAL (WEEE)

As the owner of electrical or electronic equipment, the law (in accordance with the EU Directive 2012/19/EU on waste from electrical and electronic equipment and the national laws of the EU Member States that have implemented this Directive) prohibits you from disposing of this product or its electrical / electronic accessories as municipal solid waste and obliges you to make use of the appropriate waste collection facilities. The product can be disposed of by returning it to the distributor when a new product is purchased. The new product must be equivalent to that being disposed of. Disposing of the product in the environment can cause great harm to the environment itself and human health.

The symbol in the figure indicates the urban waste containers and it is strictly prohibited to dispose of the equipment in these containers. Non-compliance with the regulationis spulated in the Directive 2012/19/EU and the decrees implemented in the various EU Member States is administratively punishable.
