Instruction Manual Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you enjoy using the appliance. Symbols in these Instructions for Use Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not t for commercial use.
- The power adapter is only suitable for use in dry rooms.
- Check if the output current, voltage and the polarity of the power adapter match the information on the con- nected appliance!
- Do not touch the connected power adapter with wet hands!
- When cleaning if necessary disconnect the appliance from the power adapter.
- Ensure that the cable of the power adapter does not be- come kinked, jammed, driven over or come into contact with heat sources.
- Do not use a damaged power adapter.
- Do not repair the appliance yourself, but visit an author- ized specialist.
- The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
- Use only original spare parts.
- In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
Do not allow small children to play with the foil. There is a danger of suffocation! Special Safety Instructions for this Appliance WARNING of electrical shock:

WARNING of electrical shock:
- The appliance is intended for use with safety extra-low voltage. Connect only to a power supply according to the specications on the rating label.
- If the power adapter of this appliance becomes damaged, it must be replaced with an equivalent one available from the man- ufacturer or the manufacturer’s service department.
- Do not replace any parts. Do not perform any modications. Risk of electric shock!

Before operating the appliance, read the notes for use in order to avoid injuries.

Special Safety Information Concerning the Rechargeable Built-in Battery CAUTION:
- The appliance contains a lithium-ion accumulator, which may not be substituted by the user.
- Risk of explosion in case of improper replacement of the re- chargeable battery. Replace only by the same or an equivalent type.
- Do not expose the rechargeable built-in battery to hard impacts or pressure. Do not drop the appliance!
- Do not expose the appliance to intense heat such as sunlight. Also keep the appliance away from heat sources like radiators, stoves, etc.!
- The ambient temperature should be between 0 °C and max. 35 °C. Heat damages the rechargeable battery. Increas- ingly lower temperatures reduce the capacity and the life of the rechargeable battery.
- Do not charge the rechargeable battery unsupervised.
- If the charging procedure has nished, remove the power adapter from the socket. Notes for Use What Can I Use the Appliance For? The appliance is suitable for use on facial skin (apart from the area around the eyes and the area around the lips). Since, with the passing of years, the epidermal skin layer becomes thinner due to inward and outward impact, coarse skin and signs of light damage become noticeable. This appliance was developed to counteract the rst signs of aging facial skin. Use the appliance to clean, peel and massage your facial skin. With regular use, you can achieve an improved complexion. What Should I Keep in Mind When Using the Appli- ance?
- Do not use the appliance without an attachment.
- Test the attachment for damage before each use. Do not use the appliance with a damaged, broken or dirty attachment. A damaged attachment can injure your skin.
- To avoid damaging your skin or the appliance, do not use creams, chemical or mechanical peelings in combination with the appliance.
- Use the appliance a maximum of twice per week. More frequent use can cause irritation of the skin.
- Do not use the appliance for skin protection too long. Discontinue use immediately as soon as the rst signs of skin irritation appear.
- It is important that the appliance remain in constant motion when in contact with the skin and that it not be held in one place. This way, you avoid skin irritation or even haematomas.
- Do not use the appliance when the face is wet, in the bathtub or in the shower.
- In order to accelerate skin regeneration, do not use the appliance for a purpose other than to massage and gently remove the outer, dead skin layer.
- After using the appliance, your skin creams and face masks will absorb better. Negative skin reactions may nevertheless thereby occur. We recommend that you do not change the cream you use during the rst
2 - 4 weeks. If you use a new cream following this period,
test it rst on a small area. If negative skin reactions occur following use of the appliance, do not continue to use this cream. Commence or recommence use of the appliance following an interruption of more than 2 weeks.
- If you intend to enjoy the sun (e. g. during summer vacation), we recommend that discontinue use one week before the vacation, and for as long as you are exposed to the sun.
- It’s recommended that you put on sunscreen protection for at least 3 days after each use (with a minimum sun protection factor of 30). When Should I Not Use the Appliance? In the following circumstances, we advise against the use of the appliance:
- On open wounds, rashes, skin infections, psoriasis, ec- zema, inammations, sunburns, burn wounds, rosacea, active infections (e. g. active acne batches or herpes) in the areas to be treated;
- If your skin is still recovering from a cosmetic procedure, such as for example a chemical or mechanical peeling, laser resurfacing, fractional laser treatment, mesotherapy treatment or any other treatment with dermal llers in the past two weeks;
- On port wine stains, permanent make-up, large moles or birthmarks, tattoos or other skin irritations in the areas to be treated;
- In combination with other skin care systems for home use which contain active peeling ingredients.
- If you have warts, to not attempt to remove these with the appliance. This can cause the warts to spread further.
- Large, festering pimples or boils cannot and should not be treated with the appliance.
- Pregnant women and people with heart disease should not use this appliance.
- People who have undergone cosmetic surgery should not use the appliance on the operated areas.
- The appliance may not be used on the genital area. When is Medical Advice Necessary? In the following circumstances, consult your doctor before using the appliance:
- If you take medications that produce an effect on your skin, such as steroids or acne medications (Accutan, Isotretinoin or Roaccutan);
- If you have a signicant skin condition (including but not limited to melanomas, basal cell carcinoma, actinic keratosis, melasma, systemic lupus erythematosus, porphyria, coagulation abnormality and collagen abnor- malities such as keloids, excessive cicatrisation or a prior history of bad wound healing). Indicator Light The indicator light colours have the following meanings: Red = Charging process Green = Charging process nished Blue = Operating mode, adjustment of levels Charging the Battery NOTE: The appliance is equipped with deep discharge protection. This turns the appliance off if the charging for operation is no longer sufcient.

appliance before rst use for 2.5 hours. NOTE:
- The indicator light remains red during the charging process.
- The charging process is nished when the indicator light illuminates green.
- Mere mains operation is not possible.
4. Disconnect the power adapter from the outlet once the
rechargeable battery has been charged completely. NOTE: Even when switched off, the rechargeable battery dis- charges continuously. If the appliance is out of use for a longer period of time, charge the rechargeable battery at least once every 4 to 8 weeks. Using the Appliance
WARNING: Risk of injury!
- When using the appliance for the rst time, test the attachment on your forearm before using it on your face. Lead the appliance along your arm and then wait approximately an hour. If a skin reaction which could appear then subsides, you can use the appliance on your face.
- Do not use the appliance over and under the eyes! If you treat the ne lines beside the eyes, cover the eyelid with a nger of the other hand and move the appliance from you nger towards the temple.
- Avoid using directly at the lips and under the nose. (Painful)
- Always begin using the lowest suction level! Too much suction strength can cause hematomas. Increase the suction strength only gradually.
- Do not hold the appliance against one portion of the skin as soon as you have turned it on!
1. Clean your face and dry it off completely before each use.
To open the pores, you can take a hot steam bath beforehand or keep a warm, damp cloth on your face for a while.
2. Put on the desired attachment. Make sure the sealing
necessary, select another suction level.
4. Touch your face with the attachment so that you can feel
the effect of the suction. Do not press the attachment too rmly against the skin and do not hold it in one place! Move the attachment in straight lines in one direction. Treat all areas on the face apart from the eye area. The following describes how to move the appliance in each area: - Chin: From the middle outwards - Cheeks: From the nostrils toward the ears - Forehead: From the middle outwards - Nose: From top to bottom and along the nostril - By the ears: Along the temples from bottom to top NOTE:
- In some areas, it is more difcult to establish full contact with the skin. Try to hold the appliance in different ways. Move the appliance vertically or hori- zontally, or turn just your head in order to establish better contact with the skin.
- Your skin may be reddened following use. This is normal and should (depending on skin type) sub- side again within a few hours.

- Switch off the appliance before cleaning. Disconnect the power adapter from the electrical outlet.
- Do not submerge the appliance in water!
- Do not immerse the power adapter in water! CAUTION:
- Also do not clean the appliance under running water! The electronics could get damaged.
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasives.
- Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Clean the casing with a slightly damp cloth, if necessary.
- Always clean the power adapter with a dry cloth.
- Clean the attachments using a mild soapy solution. Finally, rinse these off with water. Let the attachments dry completely before using them again. NOTE: We recommend that you treat the attachments with a commercially available disinfectant.
- The lter sponge can be cleaned with warm, owing water. Let the lter sponges dry completely before using them again. If a lter sponge becomes very dirty, replace it. Storage
- We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if it will not be used for long periods. Before doing so, remove the batteries / rechargeable batteries.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated place. Troubleshooting Problem Possible cause Remedy The appliance does not function. Move the appliance vertically or horizontally, or turn just your head in order to estab- lish better contact with the skin. Disposal Dispose of Batteries / Rechargeable Batteries The appliance contains a rechargeable battery. Used batteries / accumulators (rechargeable batteries) do not belong in household waste. The battery must be removed before the prod- uct is recycled. Contact qualied personnel. Information, where batteries / accumulators are to be disposed of can be obtained from your local or municipal authorities. Meaning of the “Dustbin” Symbol Protect our environment: do not dispose of electrical equipment in the domestic waste. Please return any electrical equipment that you will no longer use to the collection points provided for their disposal. This helps avoid the potential effects of incorrect disposal on the environment and human health. This will contribute to the recycling and other forms of re-uti- lisation of electrical and electronic equipment.
