How to install the ProfiCare PCDVL 3078 ceiling fan?
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-100 and IEC 60364-1. Follow the detailed steps in the manual: attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling, connect the electrical wires (live, neutral, earth), install the spacer tube and canopy, then attach the blades and light kit. Make sure the ceiling supports the weight (5.7 kg) and that the blades are at least 2.3 m above the floor.
How to adjust the fan speed?
Pull the chain (mark 5) on the motor housing. Each pull changes the speed: 1 pull = high speed, 2 pulls = medium speed, 3 pulls = low speed, 4 pulls = stop.
How to reverse the blade rotation direction?
Use the switch (mark 11) on the motor housing. Set it to summer position (↻) for downward airflow or winter position (↺) for upward airflow. Make this adjustment only when the blades are stationary to avoid damaging the motor.
How to turn the light on or off?
Pull the chain (mark 8) on the light fixture to turn the light on or off.
What type of bulbs to use for the light fixture?
Use only GU10 LED bulbs of 220-240 V, 5 W, 3000 K. The fan comes with 3 such bulbs. To replace them, use the provided suction cup to handle the bulbs safely.
How to clean the fan?
Before cleaning, turn off the circuit breaker and wait for the blades to stop completely. Clean the external surface with a slightly damp cloth, then dry with a soft cloth. Do not use metal brushes, abrasive cleaners, or liquids that could penetrate electrical connections.
What to do if the fan does not work?
First check that the circuit breaker is on and the power supply is correct. If the problem persists, disconnect the appliance and contact an authorized technician. Do not attempt to repair the motor or electrical components yourself.
Can I install the fan in a bathroom?
No, the appliance is not designed for installation in humid environments. It is intended for indoor use in dry rooms only.
What is the minimum installation height?
The fan blades must be installed at least 2.3 meters above the floor to ensure safety.
