How to activate self-leveling?
Slide the lock switch to the unlocked position. The device turns off and then automatically turns on in self-leveling mode. The pendulum stabilizes the laser to project a straight line.
What does a permanent flashing of the laser mean?
If the device is tilted beyond its self-leveling range (4° ± 1°), the laser flashes continuously to indicate that it can no longer guarantee a straight line. Reposition the device on a more level surface.
How to switch to manual mode?
Move the lock switch to the locked position. The laser flashes every 5 seconds. You can then tilt the device at different angles to project straight lines.
How to switch between display modes (horizontal, vertical, cross)?
