3. Initial use

Take the appliance out of the packaging and first remove all the packaging material. Make sure that the two power cables of the switch unit are connected to the plugs on the electric underblanket. Then lay the electric underblanket out and plug the power cables into properly installed sockets.

4. Usage and function

Note: It is advisable to switch on the product 30 minutes before use. The heating process takes up to 30 minutes.

1. Place the underblanket in the desired position.
2. Slide the switch from position 0 (off) to position 1 (Heat setting 1). After a few minutes you can clearly feel the appliance heating up. The power indicator LED starts glowing.

3. If you want to adjust a higher temperature, slide the switch to position 2 (Heat setting 2) or position 3 (Heat setting 3).

4. If the heating electric underblanket becomes too hot, select a lower heat setting.

5. To switch off the appliance after use, slide the switches to position 0 (off). The power indicator LED stops glowing which means that the appliance is switched off.

Note: The appliance switches off automatically after 180 minutes in each heat setting.

5. Cleaning and Care

Follow the safety instructions when cleaning.

Before you start cleaning the electric underblanket, disconnect the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down completely.

• The electric underblanket has a removable switch unit. Disconnect the switch unit from the electric underblanket by pulling the cable from the plug on the electric underblanket.
• You can wash the heated underblanket at max. 30 °C in the gentle wash cycle of the washing machine. Use a mild detergent. After use, let the underblanket cool down for at least 10 minutes before washing it.
  • Alternatively, you can clean the electric underblanket using a dry soft brush.
• Small stains can be removed with a damp sponge and some mild liquid detergent. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or stiff brushes. This could damage the appliance.
• After washing lay the electric underblanket on a flat surface and allow it to dry completely. Use the electric underblanket again only after it is completely dry.
• Finally connect the switch unit cable to the electric underblanket.

Spread the underblanket out for storage without placing anything on top in a clean, dry place.

Avoid bending the underblanket a lot!

Objects should not be placed on the product during storage.

6. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Please do not try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not waterproof. Please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures.

Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in the user manual.

This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons.
