ELECTRIC CHOCOLATE FONDUE
Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.24 GB/IE Intended use The product is intended for melting chocolate to prepare a chocolate fondue. Do not use the product for any other purpose. The product is designed only for use in private households and must not be used commercial areas. WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury. Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way. This product is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: –staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; –farm houses; –by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; –bed and breakfast type environments.28 GB/IE Electrical safety
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.

DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the power plug from the power supply and contact your retailer if the product is damaged. The product is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage. Before connecting the power plug to the power supply, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product’s rating label.29GB/IE Regularly check the power plug and the power cord for damages. CAUTION! Risk of burns! During use the product gets hot. Do not touch the heating area while in use nor immediately after use. Do not move the product while it is in operation. The heating area surface is subject to residual heat after use.30 GB/IE Cleaning and storage
WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Disconnect the power plug from the power supply before cleaning work and when not in use.
CAUTION! Risk of burns! Do not clean the product right after operation. Let the product cool down first. Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord. Protect the product, its power cord and power plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water. Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children. Protect the product against heat. Do not place the product close to open flames or heat sources such as stoves or heating products.31GB/IE Before first use Remove the packaging material. Check if all parts are complete. Clean the product (see “Cleaning and care”). Operation Place the product on a flat, stable surface. Connect the power plug [8] to the power supply. Turning the product on: Set the temperature control [7] to I. Increasing the temperature: Set the temperature control [7] to II. The indicator [6] lights up as long as the product is turned on. Turning the product off: Set the temperature control [7] to 0. Melting chocolate NOTE: Some chocolates when melted turn into a sticky mass rather than into a liquid. You can remedy this by adding 1 part of cream to 4 parts of chocolate. Fill the bowl [2] with the desired amount of chocolate (max.250g). Add cream if necessary. Do not fill the bowl beyond the MAXmarking [1]. Set the temperature control [7] to II and let the chocolate melt. If necessary, stir with the spatula [9] until the chocolate has completely melted. NOTE: Holding the bowl [2] in place while stirring: If necessary, hold the bowl above the notches []. It is less hot there. Use a kitchen towel or use oven gloves when touching the bowl.32 GB/IE Keeping the melted chocolate warm: Set the temperature control [7] to I. Position Status

Use the skewers [] to dip cuts of fruit or marshmallows into the melted chocolate. Cookies, pancakes or pieces of cake are well suited for a chocolate fondue as well. Cleaning and care
