• This electric underblanket should not be used by persons who are sensive to heat or who require protecon, because they cannot respond to overheang (e.g. diabecs, persons with skin alteraons or scars in the applicaon area that are caused by disease, aer intake of painkillers or alcohol).

• Do not use this electric underblanket for very young children (0- 3 years of age), as they cannot respond to overheang.

• Do not use this electric underblanket for young children (3- 8 years of age), unless the switch is set by a parent or supervisor and it has been properly explained to the child how the electric underblanket can be operated safely.

• This electric underblanket can be used for children of 8 years and older and by persons with limited physical, sensory and mental capacies or lack of experience or knowledge, provided they use the electric underblanket under supervision or have been instructed about its correct use and understand the hazards it may involve.

• Children are not allowed to play with the electric underblanket.

• The appliance may not be cleaned or maintained by children, unless this is done under supervision.

EN - 15 Important safety instrucons - read carefully and keep for later reference! WARNING• Do not sck needles in the electric blanket!

• Do not use if it is folded or crumpled.

• Do not use when wet.

• Prior to use on an adjustable bed, check that the electrical components and cords cannot get jammed in the hinges for example.

• Only use this electric underblanket in combinaon with the switch indicated on the label.

• Under certain condions, the electric and magnec elds transmied by this electric underblanket could aect the operaon of your pacemaker. However, the radiaon values are far below the limit values: electric eld strength: max. 5000 V/m, magnec eld strength: max. 80 A/m, magnec ux density: max. 0.1 millitesla. Therefore, contact your physician or the manufacturer of your pacemaker prior to using this electric underblanket.

• Do not pull, twist or sharply fold the cords.

• Regularly check this electric underblanket for signs of wear and tear. If there are signs of wear and tear, or if the electric underblanket has not been used as intended, or the underblanket no longer gets warm, have the electric underblanket checked by the manufacturer prior to use.

• Do not open the appliance or repair it yourself under any circumstances. If you do, a fault-free operaon can no longer be guaranteed. If you do not observe this instrucon, the warranty will become invalid.

• If the power cord of the appliance is damaged, it should be removed. If it is not possible to disconnect the power cord from the appliance, the enre appliance should be disposed of.

• When this electric underblanket is switched on, – no sharp object may be placed on it, – no heat sources such as hot water boles, heang pads, etc., should be placed on it.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION EN - 18 PRESCRIBED USE CAUTION! OPERATION CAUTION! Safety The electric underblanket is only intended for heang beds.

• The electric underblanket has been provided with a SAFETY SYSTEM. This sensor technology prevents overheating of the electric underblanket on the entire surface through automatic deactivation in case of a breakdown. When the SAFETY SYSTEM has switched off the electric underblanket, the temperature levels in activated condition are no longer lighted.

• Do note that for reasons of safety the electric underblanket can no longer be used after a breakdown and should be sent to the indicated service address.

• Never connect the faulty electric underblanket to a different switch of the same type. This would also ensure a final deactivation through the safety system in the switch. 1 2 3EN - 19 Switching on Slide the posion buon for ON/OFF and the heang posions to posion 1, 2 or 3 to switch on the electric underblanket. WARNING: If the electric underblanket is used for several hours,

we recommend seng the lowest heang posion (posion 1) to prevent the user from overheang. Switching o Slide the posion buon downwards to switch o the electric underblanket. The heang posion no longer lights up. Use Evenly spread the electric underblanket over your maress, starng at the foot end. Fasten the electric blanket with the elasc bands around the corners of the maress. Approximately, the cord should be at shoulder height. The electric underblanket can be used on both sides. Then, as usual, lay the ed sheet over the bed, so that the electric underblanket is between the maress and the ed sheet. Each me you make the bed, check that the electric underblanket is at and properly spread, before you switch it on. CAUTION! Make sure the electric underblanket is spread out fully at and does not fold or crumple during use. We recommend switching on the electric underblanket about 15 minutes before you go to sleep and covering it with a duvet to prevent the heat from escaping.

• First connect the switch to the connecon point in the blanket by connecng the plug.

• Then insert the plug in the socket. ATTENTION

• The electric underblanket heats up the fastest when you rst switch on the highest temperature level. ATTENTION If the electric underblanket is not used for a number of days, slide the posion buon downwards to switch o the electric blanket and remove the plug from the socket. Then disconnect the switch from the electric underblanket by removing the plug. Automac deacvaon funcon This electric blanket has been provided with an automac deacvaon funcon. This means that the supply of heat is stopped approx. 180 minutes aer the electric blanket was acvated. In order to use the electric blanket again, you must rst switch the posion buon OFF. Aer approximately 5 seconds you are able to switch the electric blanket on again.EN - 20

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING Before cleaning the electric underblanket, always remove the plug from the socket. Otherwise you will run the risk of an electric shock. Then disconnect the switch from the electric underblanket by removing the plug. CAUTION!

• The switch may never come into contact with water or other liquids. It could get damaged as a result. Use a dry lint-free cloth for cleaning the switch. Do not use chemical cleaning agents or abrasives. Small stains on the electric blanket can be removed with a cloth or a damp sponge and, if necessary, a lile bit of gentle detergent liquid. CAUTION!

• The electric underblanket should not be dry cleaned, spun, dried in the machine, mangled or ironed. In case of a stronger level of contaminaon, the electric underblanket can be washed in the washing machine. Set the washing machine to a 30°C programme (wool programme). Out of environmental consideraons, we recommend washing the electric underblanket at the same me as other items. Use a gentle detergent in accordance with the manufacturer's dosing instrucons. CAUTION!

• Please note, the electric underblanket will wear if washed too oen. For that reason, the electric underblanket may be machine-washed for a maximum of 5 mes during its lifeme. Immediately aer washing, pull the electric underblanket in its original size and form while sll wet, and leave it lying at on a drying rack.

• Do not use pegs or other clamps to aach the electric blanket to the drying rack. Otherwise the electric underblanket could get damaged.

• Only connect the switch to the electric underblanket when the plug connecon and underblanket are fully dry. Otherwise the electric underblanket could get damaged. CAUTION! WARNING Never switch on the electric underblanket in order to dry it in this way! You will run the risk of an electric shock.EN - 21 This symbol means that this product should not be disposed of with regular household waste (2012/19/EU). Observe the rules that apply in your country for the separated collecon of electric and electronic products. Correct disposal of the product prevents negave consequences for the environment and for public health. The packaging material of this product can be recycled 100%, return packaging material separately. RECYCLING STORING CAUTION! Allow the electric underblanket to cool down rst, before storing it. Otherwise the electric underblanket could get damaged. During storage, do not place objects on the electric underblanket in order to prevent sharp kinks in the wiring. If you do not use the electric underblanket for a longer period of me, we recommend storing it in its original packaging.
