4 Set date / time

Setup menu
Measurement-specific settings on the connected device can be defined in the Setup menu.

5.1 Sampling rate
The sampling rate defines how often measurements are recorded. Setting options: 1 ... 60 seconds, 1 ... 60 minutes and 1 ... 24 hours. The maximum measurement duration is calculated under "Recording time". The measurement memory is full at the end of this time. See also section 5.6 "Continuous / non-continuous recording".
5.2 LED cycle setting
Active recording is signalled by the LED (3) and "REC" on the display. The LED signal can be set to appear every 10, 20 or 30 seconds. Or the LED signal can be switched off.
5.3 Options when starting to measure
Measurement can be started manually, automatically or after the set time.
Manually Hold the key (1) down to start or stop measurement.
Automatically: Measurement starts as soon as the device is disconnected from the computer.
Time lag on start: Measurement commences at the end of the set time.
5.4 Current time
"Current time" displays the set date and time. You can change the date format in this menu.
5.5 Alarm function settings

The alarm range can be freely defined for the three measurement variables: Temperature, relative humidity and dew point. If the measuredvalue goes above or below the set cap or floor, the alarm LED (2) flashes once a minute.
LED red: Max./min. temperature exceeded LED yellow: Max./min. humidity exceeded LED flashes when alarm signals low / high: The alarm function can be switched on or off.
Alarm when recording is not active: A signal is issued when the recording function (REC) is not active.
5.6 Continuous / Non-continuous recording
Continuous recording: The device records until manually stopped.
Older measurements are overwritten.
Non-continuous
recording:
Recording stops automatically when the data
memory is full.
Notes on the measurement process and on use
- Connect ClimaData Box to the PC
- Download and backup any existing data. Starting or configuring a new measurement deletes all existing data.
- Configure the recording function in the Setup menu and save your settings
- Depending on your start parameter, position the device at the measuring point and record measurements. If set to manual start, hold key 1 down. The display shows "Rec" to indicate that measurement recording is active.
- To stop recording, either hold key 1 down again, or recording stops when the memory is full, depending on the set parameter.
- Connect ClimaData Box to the PC, download and backup data.

Position the device upright to ensure sufficient air circulation around the sensor. Use the supplied wall bracket.

If the device has been placed in a cold and/or very humid environment, condensation may form in the sensor housing when it is removed due to the change in climate. Position the device upright for a while to allow it to acclimatise.
7 Download
To edit and document the recorded data, they must be transferred to the software program. To do this, start the software and connect the device to the PC vis USB interface.

Laserliner
During data transfer, the LC display indicates "-PC-". Once all the data has been loaded, the ClimaData Box displays the actual value of the current measurement. New measurement deletes all previous data.

Data is not automatically saved.
Measurement analysis
The recorded measurements are displayed in a bar chart.

The measurements can also be shown as a list.

8.1 Zoom

You can zoom in and out of partial areas by holding down the left mouse button, drawing a box over the required area and then releasing the button. Use the horizontal scroll bar to display further measurements. The left-hand vertical scroll bar changes the view of the temperature data and the right-hand bar of the relative humidity.
