Frequently Asked Questions - 20037 Schellenberg

How do I couple the timer with a tubular motor?

Follow the Coupling with the smart home system section of the manual. Activate programming mode on the motor, then press the timer buttons as described.

What should I do if the timer does not respond?

First check the batteries. If the display is blank, replace the batteries (2x AAA). If the problem persists, perform a factory reset (see section Q).

How do I set the time and date?

Press the Menu button, use the +/- buttons to navigate to the Time and date setting option (section R of the manual). Confirm with OK and adjust the values.

Can I use the timer with non-motorized roller shutters?

No, the timer is designed exclusively for Schellenberg radio products (motors, receivers, etc.). It is not suitable for manual shutters.

How do I program an upper limit point?

Put the motor into programming mode, select the channel, then use the Up/Down buttons to position the shutter. Confirm with the OK button (section H of the manual).

What does the low battery symbol on the screen mean?

The symbol indicates that the batteries are low. Replace them quickly to avoid any malfunction.

How do I use the Astro function?

Activate the Astro function in the menu (section V). The timer automatically calculates sunrise/sunset times to open/close the shutters.

The radio range is insufficient, what should I do?

Avoid metal obstacles and sources of interference. The range can be reduced by walls. Place the timer in the center of the building if possible.

How do I reset the timer to factory settings?

For the timer, follow section Z: press and hold the Stop button for 5 seconds until the display flashes. For the motor, see section Q.

Can I control multiple motors with a single timer?

Yes, the timer has 5 channels. Each channel can be coupled to a different motor or receiver (see sections E and O).

• Keep people away from the movement range of the roller shutter system. The movement range of the roller shutter system must be completely visually accessible during the operation.

• The product (Item No. 20032/20037) is exclusively designed for the respectively approved wireless products of the Alfred Schellenberg GmbH.
• The roller shutter or awning system and its components must be in a perfect condition. Defects in the system or its parts must be repaired before installing the radio reception module.
• Any other or further utilization beyond the explicitly specified shall be regarded as not intended use.
• Alfred Schellenberg GmbH shall not be liable for any consequential damage, property damage and personal injury due to improper use.
• The operation of the hand-held wireless remote control in the vicinity of equipment that emits electromagnetic radiation or has metal surfaces can affect the correct operation.
• The structural conditions affect the range and function of the radio equipment.
• The radio equipment may not be operated in areas with high risk or if third parties are disturbed (for example, hospitals, airports and similar facilities).

• There is no protection from interference from other properly constructed or operatedradio equipment. Particularly from properly operating systems that utilize the same frequency range.
