• The brush and vacuum cleaner were specially designed for use on carpetsandhardoors.Inrarecases,anddependingonthetype ofoor,itispossiblethatscratchesaremadeinthesurfaceto be cleaned. Tomado is not responsible for any damage made on theoor.Ifnecessary,aspecialparquetbrushisavailableviathe Tomado webshop.

• If the appliance is not being used or if parts or accessories must be mounted or removed or if the appliance is being cleaned, fullyswitchotheapplianceandremovetheplugfromthesocket.

• Do not leave the appliance unsupervised if the appliance isoperaonal.

• Neverplacetheappliancenearappliancesthatgiveoheat, such as ovens, gas cookers, hotplates, etc.

Followtheseinstruconswhenusingthevacuumcleanerfortherstme:Carefullyremovethevacuumcleanerand allaccessoriesfromthepackagingandremoveallpackagingmaterial.Keepthepackaging(plascbagsandcardboard) outofreachofchildren.Aerunpackingtheappliance,carefullycheckitforexternaldamagethatmayhaveoccurred duringtransport.Placethevacuumcleaneronasturdy,dryandatsurface. Makesuretheplugofthevacuumcleanerisnotinsertedinasocketwhen(dis)assemblingaccessoriesorparts. HOSE Connecngthehosetothevacuumcleaner:inserttheendofthehoseinthehoseconnecononthevacuumcleanerandturn itclockwisewitharmtwistunlyouhearaclicksound-g.1. Disconnecngthehosefromthevacuumcleaner: check that the plug is not in a power socket. Turn the end of the hose counter-clockwise to disconnect it from the vacuum cleaner. TELESCOPIC TUBE

1. Insert the handle of the hose in the telescopic tube - g.2A.

1. Placethevacuumcleaneronasturdyandatsurface.

2. Carefully pull the cord out of the vacuum cleaner and insert the plug in a power socket - g.5. Do not pull the cord any further than the red mark.

3. Adjust the telescopic tube to the required length.

4. Switchonthevacuumcleanerbypressingtheon/obuon

with your foot - g.6.

5. Dependingonthesurfacetobecleaned,youcanadjustthebrushesintheoornozzle-g.6.

Whencleaninghardoors,youmustmakesurethebrushesareextended. Whencleaningoorcoveringsoroorcloths,thebrushesmustberetracted.

1. Switchothevacuumcleanerbypressingtheon/obuon

forautomacrewinding with your foot. Guide the cord with your hand to prevent possible damage. The cord isautomacallywoundupinthevacuumcleaner. STORAGE Thevacuumcleanercanbestoredintwoways.Standingonitsrearside-parkingposion-oritsboomside,sothatthe appliance takes up less space - g.9.

• Rewindthecordbypressingthebuonforautomaccordrewinding with your foot.

13. Accessory holder: the accessory holder can be snapped on the telescopic tube - g.3B.Theaccessoriescanbeaached

to the holder, so you always have them at your disposal when vacuum cleaning.

• Replace the dust bag when the dust bag full indicator becomes red or when the dust bag seems to be full.

• Openthedustbagcompartmentbypressinginthehandle.Lithecoverandcarefullyremovethefulldustbagfrom the holder - g.10. Throw away the full dust bag.

• Fold a new dust bag as shown - g.11 - and slide it in the dust bag holder.

• Openthecoverofthedustbagcompartment.Theopeningofthedustbagisautomacallypushedonthecorrectlocaon when the cover is being closed. The cover of the dust bag compartment cannot be closed when the dust bag has not been placedcorrectly.Placethedustbagoncemore,inaccordancewiththeinstrucons.

REPLACING OR CLEANING THE MOTOR FILTER

Themotorltermustbereplacedaerevery5dustbags.Inbetween,itcanbecleaned.

• Removethemotorlterbyslidingtheholderupwards-g.12.

• Placeanewmotorlterintheholderandslideitbackorcleanthemotorlterwithlukewarmwater-g.15 - and allow it to dry in the air for 24 hours - g.16beforeplacingthemotorlterbackintheholder.

CLEANING OR REPLACING THE HEPA FILTER

• CleantheHEPAlterwithlukewarmowingwater-g.15-andallowtheltertodryintheairfor24hours-g.16. Do not use cleaning agents or brushes.

• Onlyusethevacuumcleanerwhentheltersandadustbaghavebeenplaced.Ifnot,thesuconpowercouldbereduced or the motor could be damaged.

• Removetheplugfromthesocketbeforecleaningorreplacingthelters.

• Tornornotproperlysealinglterscoulddamagethemotor.Whenalterisdefecve,itmustbereplacedbyaneworiginallter.

• Theltersmaynotbecleanedinthedishwasher.

When the dust bag full indicator becomes red:

• Check whether the dust bag is full.

Warning:the dust bag full indicator remains red if:

• the dust bag is full

• the tube or hose is clogged

• theltersaredirty MAINTENANCEEN-19 If the vacuum cleaner is used for more than 10 minutes when the dust bag full indicator is red, the vacuum cleaner switches oautomacallytopreventitfromoverheang.Ifthishappens,switchotheappliancewiththeswitch,removetheplugfrom the socket and resolve the problem. The safety device will reset once the vacuum cleaner is switched on again. Tomado recommends the use or original Tomado dust bags. Any damage caused by using non-original Tomado dust bags is not covered by the warranty. Dustbags,ltersandotheraccessoriesareavailableviatheTomadowebshop:hps://www.tomado.com/support If you choose to use non-original Tomada dust bags, do make sure the capacity of these dust bags corresponds with the capacity of the vacuum cleaner. Manufacturersofvacuumcleanerbagsoenusethename“Uni-bag”forvacuumcleanerbagsthatmaybesuitablefortheTomado vacuum cleaner. In case of doubt, you can contact the manufacturer of those vacuum cleaner bags. Thissymbolmeansthatthisproductshouldnotbedisposedofwithregularhouseholdwaste(2012/19/EU).Observe therulesthatapplyinyourcountryfortheseparatedcolleconofelectricandelectronicproducts.Correctdisposal oftheproductpreventsnegaveconsequencesfortheenvironmentandforpublichealth.Thepackagingmaterial of this product can be recycled 100%, return packaging material separately.
