How to clean the milk frother?

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool. Remove the milk pot, whisk, and stirrer. Wash the removable parts (pot, lid, whisk, stirrer) by hand or in the dishwasher with hot water and dish soap. Wipe the power base with a damp cloth; never immerse it in water.

Why is the milk foam not forming?

Several possible reasons: use whole milk for better foam. Make sure you are using the whisk (with spring) and not the stirrer. Check that the milk quantity is between 100 and 150 ml. Milk that is too skimmed or certain milk brands may produce less foam.

How much milk to use for frothing?

For frothing, pour between 100 and 150 ml of milk into the pot. Do not exceed the MAX ⚙️ mark as the milk expands and may overflow. For heating without frothing, you can use up to 300 ml (MAX Ⓐ mark).

Can I heat milk without frothing it?

Yes, use the stirrer (without spring) and select the warm function (green indicator) or hot function (red indicator). The milk will be heated and slightly stirred, with no foam.

How long does it take to heat milk?

The heating time varies from 310 to 550 seconds depending on the milk quantity and selected temperature. The appliance shuts off automatically once the temperature is reached.

Can I use plant-based milk (soy, almond, etc.)?

The milk frother is designed primarily for cow's milk. Plant-based milks can be heated, but the foam quality is often not as good. For better foam, choose plant-based milks specially formulated for coffee frothing.

How do I know which function is selected?

The function button T allows you to scroll through the modes. The color of the indicator light in the button indicates the function: green (warm 38°C), red (hot 68°C), purple (hot foam), blue (cold foam).

Does the appliance turn off by itself?

Yes, the milk frother has an automatic shut-off. It turns off automatically after the heating or frothing cycle (approximately 110 to 550 seconds depending on the function). The control light on the on/off button then goes out.

Is the milk pot dishwasher safe?

Yes, all removable parts (milk pot with lid, whisk, stirrer) can be washed in the dishwasher. Make sure to dry them thoroughly before reuse. The power base must never be immersed.

What to do if the frother does not work after turning on?

First check that the plug is properly inserted and that the power outlet works. If the circuit breaker has tripped, this may indicate an overload or fault. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself; contact technical support or your retailer.

• Carefully read the instruction manual in full prior to using the appliance and store the manual in a safe place for future reference.

  • The outer surface will become hot!

PRIOR TO FIRST USE

Before using the appliance for the first time, please proceed as follows: carefully remove the milk frother from its packaging and remove all the packaging material. Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport. The whisk is packed at the bottom of the appliance. Take note to unpack it from the power base. Place the milk frother on a flat, heat-resistant surface.

Clean the milk jug, lid, whisk and mixer with warm water and mild detergent. Dry these components thoroughly. Only clean the base unit with a damp cloth, and dry thoroughly. The milk frother is only suitable for frothing and warming milk. Never fill the milk frother with other liquids.

WARMING MILK

Check that the voltage corresponds with what is stated on the information plate. Insert the plug into the socket. Place the mixer (without spring) at the bottom of the milk jug onto the drive shaft. Fill the milk jug with the required quantity of milk. Take note of the upper maximum indication for warming milk only - MAX◎ - 300 ml. The minimum capacity is 100 ml. Place the cover and place the milk jug on the power base. Press the function button T repeatedly to select the correct function / temperature. The colour of the indicator light in the function button corresponds to the selected function.

WARM ± 38°C - green indicator light

HOT ± 68°C - red indicator light

Press the on/off button to switch on the milk frother. The indicator led in the on/off button will light and the mixer will start to turn.

Depending on the quantity of milk, the milk frother will stop automatically after approximately 310 to 550 seconds. Once the selected programme is finished, the indicator led in the on/off button will turn off.

When the drink is ready to serve, remove the milk jug from the power base and pour the warm milk into a mug or cup via the spout. Remove the plug from the socket after each use.

After use, the milk frother should be cleaned as described in the chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE.

Allow the milk frother to cool for 2 minutes before using it again, or pour some cold water into the milk frother. This will allow it to be used again sooner.

FROTHING MILK

Check that the voltage corresponds with what is stated on the information plate. Insert the plug into the socket.

Place the whisk (with spring) at the bottom of the milk jug onto the drive shaft. Fill the milk jug with the required quantity of milk.

Take note of the lower maximum indication for frothing milk - MAX - 150 ml. Frothing milk expands and the milk frother may overflow when using too much milk. The minimum capacity is 100 ml.

Making warm frothed milk

Place the cover and place the milk jug on the power base.

Press the function button T repeatedly to select the correct function / temperature.

WARM FROTHING - purple indicator light

The colour of the indicator light in the function button corresponds to the selected function.

Press the on/off button to switch on the milk frother. The indicator led in the on/off button will light and the whisk will start to turn. Depending on the quantity of milk, the milk frother will stop automatically after approximately 270 seconds. Once the milk frother is ready, the indicator led in the on/off button will turn off.

Making cold frothed milk

Place the cover and place the milk jug on the power base.

Press the function button T repeatedly to select the correct function / temperature.

COLD FROTHING - blue indicator light

The colour of the indicator light in the function button corresponds to the selected function.

Press the on/off button to switch on the milk frother. The indicator led in the on/off button will light and the whisk will start to turn. Depending on the quantity of milk, the milk frother will stop automatically after approximately 110 seconds. Once the milk frother is ready, the indicator led in the on/off button will turn off.

TIPS

• You will get the best milk froth result with full milk.
• If there is too little milk in the milk frother (less than 100 ml), the result will be poorer.
• The quality of the milk froth may differ significantly between different brands of milk. Experiment with other brands, if necessary, for a better result.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the milk frother to cool prior to cleaning.

Clean the milk frother after every use.

Remove the milk jug from the base and remove the whisk or mixer from the milk jug by lifting it directly upwards. Rinse the milk jug with hot water and detergent (if required) to remove all milk residue.

Ensure that no milk residue remains in the milk jug. This is unhygienic and may be harmful to your health. Clean the cover, silicone ring of the cover, whisk and mixer with warm water and mild detergent. Dry these components thoroughly. The loose components, the milk jug with lid and the whisk/mixer may be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Never immerse the power base in water and/or other liquids. Do not rinse it under the tap. Regularly wipe the outside with a damp cloth.

Never use detergents and/or abrasives or sharp objects that could damage the coating!
