- Only use this appliance for the purposes described in the instruction manual.
• The outer surface will become hot! - Never fill the appliance above the maximum indication. The appliance may overflow.
- The appliance must be connected to an alternating current supply, via an earthed wall socket, with a mains voltage that matches the information given on the information plate of the appliance.
- Never bend the power cord sharply or allow it to run across hot parts.
- Fully unwind the cord to prevent it from overheating.
- Never place the appliance near appliances that give off heat, such as ovens, gas cookers, hotplates, etc. Keep the appliance away from walls or other objects that may catch fire, such as curtains, towels (cotton or paper, etc.).
- Always make sure the appliance is placed on an even, flat surface and is only used indoors.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in operation.
- If you wish to move the appliance, you must ensure that the appliance has cooled down and that the plug is removed from the socket.

- The appliance may be used by children of 8 years and older and by persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they use the appliance under supervision and are instructed about the safe use of the appliance, and understand the associated hazards.
• Children must not play with the appliance. - The appliance must not be cleaned or maintained by children, unless this is done under supervision.
- If the appliance is not in use or is being cleaned, the plug must be removed from the wall socket.
- If you decide to cease using the appliance due to a defect, we recommend cutting off the cord after removing the plug from the wall socket.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, please proceed as follows: carefully remove the milk frother from its packaging and remove all the packaging material. Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport. The whisk is packed at the bottom of the appliance. Take note to unpack it from the power base. Place the milk frother on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Clean the milk jug, lid, whisk and mixer with warm water and mild detergent. Dry these components thoroughly. Only clean the base unit with a damp cloth, and dry thoroughly. The milk frother is only suitable for frothing and warming milk. Never fill the milk frother with other liquids.
WARMING MILK
Check that the voltage corresponds with what is stated on the information plate. Insert the plug into the socket. Place the mixer (without spring) at the bottom of the milk jug onto the drive shaft. Fill the milk jug with the required quantity of milk. Take note of the upper maximum indication for warming milk only - MAX◎ - 300 ml. The minimum capacity is 100 ml. Place the cover and place the milk jug on the power base. Press the function button T repeatedly to select the correct function / temperature. The colour of the indicator light in the function button corresponds to the selected function.
WARM ± 38°C - green indicator light
HOT ± 68°C - red indicator light
Press the on/off button to switch on the milk frother. The indicator led in the on/off button will light and the mixer will start to turn.
Depending on the quantity of milk, the milk frother will stop automatically after approximately 310 to 550 seconds. Once the selected programme is finished, the indicator led in the on/off button will turn off.
When the drink is ready to serve, remove the milk jug from the power base and pour the warm milk into a mug or cup via the spout. Remove the plug from the socket after each use.
After use, the milk frother should be cleaned as described in the chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE.
Allow the milk frother to cool for 2 minutes before using it again, or pour some cold water into the milk frother. This will allow it to be used again sooner.
FROTHING MILK
Check that the voltage corresponds with what is stated on the information plate. Insert the plug into the socket.
Place the whisk (with spring) at the bottom of the milk jug onto the drive shaft. Fill the milk jug with the required quantity of milk.
Take note of the lower maximum indication for frothing milk - MAX - 150 ml. Frothing milk expands and the milk frother may overflow when using too much milk. The minimum capacity is 100 ml.
Making warm frothed milk
Place the cover and place the milk jug on the power base.
Press the function button T repeatedly to select the correct function / temperature.
WARM FROTHING - purple indicator light
The colour of the indicator light in the function button corresponds to the selected function.
Press the on/off button to switch on the milk frother. The indicator led in the on/off button will light and the whisk will start to turn. Depending on the quantity of milk, the milk frother will stop automatically after approximately 270 seconds. Once the milk frother is ready, the indicator led in the on/off button will turn off.
Making cold frothed milk
Place the cover and place the milk jug on the power base.
Press the function button T repeatedly to select the correct function / temperature.
COLD FROTHING - blue indicator light
The colour of the indicator light in the function button corresponds to the selected function.
Press the on/off button to switch on the milk frother. The indicator led in the on/off button will light and the whisk will start to turn. Depending on the quantity of milk, the milk frother will stop automatically after approximately 110 seconds. Once the milk frother is ready, the indicator led in the on/off button will turn off.
When the milk frother is ready, remove the milk jug from the power base and pour the frothed milk into a mug or cup via the spout. Remove the plug from the socket after each use.
After use, the milk frother should be cleaned as described in the chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE.

TIPS
- You will get the best milk froth result with full milk.
- If there is too little milk in the milk frother (less than 100 ml), the result will be poorer.
- The quality of the milk froth may differ significantly between different brands of milk. Experiment with other brands, if necessary, for a better result.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the milk frother to cool prior to cleaning.
Clean the milk frother after every use.
Remove the milk jug from the base and remove the whisk or mixer from the milk jug by lifting it directly upwards. Rinse the milk jug with hot water and detergent (if required) to remove all milk residue.
Ensure that no milk residue remains in the milk jug. This is unhygienic and may be harmful to your health. Clean the cover, silicone ring of the cover, whisk and mixer with warm water and mild detergent. Dry these components thoroughly. The loose components, the milk jug with lid and the whisk/mixer may be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Never immerse the power base in water and/or other liquids. Do not rinse it under the tap. Regularly wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
Never use detergents and/or abrasives or sharp objects that could damage the coating!
