• Only use this appliance for the purposes described in the instrucon manual.

• Never ll the appliance above the maximum indicaon. The appliance could overow.

• Only connect the appliance to alternate current, to an earthed wall socket, with a mains voltage that corresponds with the informaon provided on the informaon plate of the appliance.

Never bend the power cord sharply or allow it to run across hot parts.

• Fully unwind the cord to prevent it from overheang.

• Never place the appliance near appliances that give o heat, such as ovens, gas cookers, hotplates, etc. Keep the appliance away from walls or other objects that could catch ame, such as curtains, towels (coon or paper, etc.).

• Always make sure the appliance is placed on an even, at surface and is only used indoors.

• Do not leave the appliance unsupervised if the appliance is operaonal.

• If you want to move the appliance, make sure it has cooled down and that the plug has been removed from the socket.

• Do not use the appliance when the plug, cord or appliance have been damaged, when the appliance is no longer funconing sasfactorily, or has been dropped or damaged in any other way. If this is the case, consult the shop or our technical service. Never replace the plug or cord yourself. Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed by skilled persons. Incorrect repairs could cause considerable hazards for the user. Never use the appliance with parts that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer.

Do not pull the cord and/or appliance to remove the plug from the wall socket. Never touch the appliance with wet or moist hands.

EN - 8• Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Children do not see the dangers when handling electrical appliances. Therefore, never allow children to work with electrical appliances without supervision. Keep the appliance and cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

• The appliance can be used by children of 8 years and older and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capacies or lack of experience or knowledge, provided they use the appliance under supervision or have been instructed about its save use and understand the hazards it may involve.

• Children are not allowed to play with the appliance.

• The appliance may not be cleaned or maintained by children, unless this is done under supervision.

• If the appliance is not being used or is being cleaned, remove the plug from the socket.

• If you decide not to use the appliance any more due to a defect, we recommend cung o the cord aer removing the plug from the wall socket.

• If the appliance does not funcon aer it has been switched on, it is possible that the fuse or earth leakage circuit breaker has been acvated in the electrical distribuon box. The group can be overloaded or an earth leakage current may have occurred.

• In case of a breakdown, never make repairs yourself; a blown safety device in the appliance could indicate a defect that cannot be remedied by removing or replacing this safety device. Only original parts should ever be used.

Before using the appliance for the rst me, please proceed as follows: carefully remove the milk frother from its packaging and remove all the packaging material. Keep the packaging (plasc bags and cardboard) out of the reach of children. Aer unpacking the appliance, check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport. Place the milk frother on a heat-resistant at surface. Clean the cover, aachment and spring with warm water and a mild washing-up liquid. Dry these components thoroughly. Only clean the base unit and interior with a moist cloth and dry thoroughly. The milk frother is only suitable for frothing and heang milk. Never ll the milk frother with other liquids. Check that the voltage corresponds with what is stated on the informaon plate. Insert the plug in the socket. Place the aachment (without spring) at the boom of the milk jug onto the drive sha. Fill the milk frother with the required amount of milk. Take note of the upper maximum indicaon for only heang milk - MAX - 300 ml. Place the cover and place the milk frother on the power base. Switch the ON/OFF buon to I. The indicator LED will light up and the milk frother will start working. Depending on the amount of milk, the milk frother stops automacally aer approximately 90 seconds. The indicator LED will swicth o and the milk frother is ready. When the milk frother is ready, remove the cover and pour the hot milk in a mug or cup. Aer use, the milk frother should be cleaned as described in chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE.

Place the aachment (with spring) at the boom of the milk jug onto the drive sha. Fill the milk frother with the required amount of milk. Take note of the lower maximum indicaon for frothing milk - MAX - 185 ml. Frothing milk expands and the milk frother could overow when using too much milk. The minimum capacity is 75 ml. Makinghotmilkfroth Place the cover and place the milk frother on the power base. Switch the ON/OFF buon to I. The indicator LED will light up and the milk frother will start working. Depending on the amount of milk, the milk frother stops automacally aer approximately 90 seconds. The indicator LED will swicth o and the milk frother is ready. When the milk frother is ready, remove the cover and pour the milk froth in a mug or cup. Do not use a spoon or other metal object to scoop out the milk froth. This will damage the coang. Aer use, the milk frother should be cleaned as described in chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE. Ifthemilkisnotornotcompletlypoured,themilkfrotherwillautomacallyrestartwhenithascooleddownbelow50C. Aer use switch the ON/OFF buon to 0 and remove the plug from the wall socket. BOIL-DRY PROTECTION If there isn’t sucient milk in the milk frother, it will shut OFF automacally. Nevertheless, always ensure that there is enough milk in the product, as switching the device OFF automacally can shorten its life span. Allow the product to cool down before lling it again. TIPS

• You will get the best milk froth result with full-cream milk.

• If there is too lile milk in the milk frother (less than 75 ml), the result will be less good.

• The quality of the milk froth can dier signicantly between dierent brands of milk. Experiment with other brands, if necessary, for a beer result. Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the milk frother to cool prior to cleaning. Clean the milk frother aer each use. Neversubmergethemilkfrotherandpowerbaseinwaterand/oranyotherliquid.Alsodonotrinseitunderthetap. Regularly wipe the outside with a moist cloth. Remove the whisk or mixer from the milk frother by liing it straight upwards. Pour some hot water in the milk frother to remove all milk residues. If necessary, use a drop of washing-up liquid to remove the fay lm le by the milk. Then wipe clean the inside of the milk frother with a so cloth or some kitchen paper to prevent the coang from geng damaged. Make sure there are no more milk residues in the milk frother. This is unhygienic and could be harmful to your health. Clean the cover, silicone ring of the cover, whisk and mixer with warm water and a mild washing-up liquid. Dry these components thoroughly. Never use detergents and/or abrasives or sharp objects that could damage the coang!
