Frequently Asked Questions - RM9000 Concept

How to use the steam function?
Pour water into the bowl (minimum indicated level), place the deep steam basket, then the shallow basket with food, and close with the steam lid. Select the 'Steam cooking' program and choose the steam flow (fast, medium, slow). The countdown starts at 95 °C.
Are the bowl and accessories dishwasher safe?
Yes, except for the motor base and the bottom of the bowl (electrical part). Accessories such as the whisk, blade, steam basket, measuring cup, grating disc, and lids are dishwasher safe.
How to adjust speed and temperature manually?
Use the 'Manual adjustment' function. Turn the main knob or swipe your finger on the screen to adjust the values. You can set the temperature from 37 to 130 °C, speed from 1 to 12 (or reverse up to 3), and time up to 90 minutes.
What to do if the appliance does not start?
Check that the lid is properly closed (a click should be heard) and that the bowl is correctly locked onto the base. Make sure the plug is connected and the main switch is set to 'On'. If the red indicator is lit, the appliance is too hot (>60 °C): wait for it to cool down.
How to use the built-in scale?
Place an empty container on the bowl (or use the bowl itself), select the 'Scale' function. Press 'Tare' to reset to zero before adding ingredients. The maximum capacity is 5 kg.
Can I crush ice with this appliance?
Yes, use the blade with the 'Turbo' or 'Chopping' function at speed 8-10 for 10 to 20 seconds. Do not exceed the indicated time to avoid overheating the motor.
How to clean the motor base?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Wipe the base with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Never immerse the base in water or use abrasive products.
What does the red light under the main button mean?
The red light indicates that the temperature inside the bowl is above 60 °C. Some programs (e.g., chopping) are then disabled. Wait until the light turns white (temperature < 60 °C) to use them.
How to update recipes?
The appliance has a 'Recipe updates' function on the screen. Connect it to WiFi, then click the icon to automatically download new recipes into the 'Search recipe' menu.
Can I use accessories from other brands?
No, only use the original accessories provided or those recommended by Concept. Using unsuitable accessories may damage the appliance and void the warranty.
