How to vacuum liquids with the Lavor Solaris?

Remove the cloth filter from the tank, install the suction head, connect the hose and suitable accessory, then turn on the main switch and select one or two motors.

How to clean a carpet with the injection-extraction system?

Pour the detergent into tank T, install the head, connect the hydraulic hoses and accessory. Press the tap lever and the pump switches to inject the solution, then release to vacuum.

What to do if the filter is clogged?

Clean the cloth filter or replace the paper filter if it is full or damaged. Use an original filter.

Can we vacuum ashes or flammable substances?

No, never vacuum flammable substances (ashes, gasoline), explosive or toxic substances. This is dangerous.

How to maintain the appliance after use?

Unplug the appliance, clean the exterior with a dry cloth, empty and rinse the tank and detergent tank. Store in a dry place, out of reach of children.

What is the warranty of the Lavor Solaris?

The warranty is 12 months minimum from the purchase date, covering manufacturing defects. Keep the receipt.

Where to find spare parts or filters?

Contact Lavor after-sales service or an authorized dealer. Use only original parts.

How to empty the tank after vacuuming liquids?

Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Remove the head from the tank and empty the liquid. Never use the appliance to vacuum water from fixed containers.

Why do the pumps not stop?

The pumps stop automatically when the tap lever is released. If they continue running, turn off the F switches immediately to avoid damaging the pumps.

Can I use a detergent other than the recommended one?

Use detergents suitable for carpet/rug cleaning. Avoid solvents or aggressive detergents. Rinse the tank after use.

USAGE

• The appliance is intended for professional use.
• The appliance is intended for use as a wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
• The paper filter cannot be reused once full or clogged. Replace with original spare parts.
• If the device is used for particularly fine powders (smaller than 0,3 m ), special filters supplied optionally (Hepa) must be employed.

- Components used in packaging (if plastic bags) can be dangerous keep away from children and animals.
The use of this machine for anything not specified in this manual may be dangerous and must be avoided.
Before emptying the tank, switch off the machine and disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
Always check the appliance before use.
The suction nozzle should be kept away from the body, especially delicate areas such as the eyes, ears and mouth.
The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.

The equipment should be correctly assembled before use.
- Ensure that power sockets used are correct for the machine.
- Never grasp the mains plug with wet hands.
- Check the voltage indicated on the rating plate is the same as the supply voltage.
- Never leave the equipment unattended whilst in use.
- Never carry out any maintenance on the machine without first disconnecting from the mains supply or when it is left unattended or reachable by children or disables.
The mains supply cable should not be used to pull or lift the machine.
The machine should never be emersed in water or a pressure jet of water used for cleaning.
- When using the machine in wet rooms (e.g. in the bathroom) only connect it to sockets which are connected in series with a ground fault circuit interrupter. In case of doubt, consult an electrician.
Periodically examine the mains cable and machine for damage. If any damage is found, do not use the appliance but contact your service centre for repair.
Should extension cables be used, ensure that these lay on dry surfaces and protected against water jets.
The use of extension leads, connectors or adaptors that do not conform to the applicable regulations is not permitted.
If the equipment should overturn it is recommended that the machine should be

stood up before switching off.

Aggressive solvents or detergents should not be used.

DRY SUCTION WET SUCTION

The machine must be always used on horizontal bases.
- Keep the machine on plane surfaces.
- Do not use the machine without proper filters.
The equipment should not be used to pick up water from containers, lavatories, tubs, etc.
These machine are not designed for picking up health endangering dusts or inflammable/explosives substances.
If foam/liquid should come from the machine exhaust switch off immediately.

Service and repairs must be carried out by qualified personnel only. Only use manufacturer original spare parts for service repair.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage/injury caused to persons, animals or property caused by misuse of the appliance, not in compliance with manual instructions.
Before removing the motor unit A from the filter canister I, remove the hoses (T_1 and T_2) and release the latches G.
- Do not pull on the water hoses that lead from the motor unit A to the tank T.

DRY SUCTION

• Insert the filter E in the tank I.
• Hook up the motor head A on the tank I and lock it up with the two hooks G.
  Fix the flexible hose L into the suction inlet H.
• Insert the extensions M into the end of the flexible hose L and connect the most suitable accessory.
• Plug the unit in.
• Turn on the illuminated ON-OFF switch C.
• Start the suction and choose 1 or 2 motors by pressing the switches B.

WET SUCTION

• Remove the filter E from the tank I.
• Hook up the motor head A on the tank I and lock it up with the two hooks G.
  Fix the flexible hose L into the suction inlet H.
  Fix, at the end of the flexible hose L, the extensions M.
• Connect the accessories (O and O 1).
• Plug the unit in.

• Turn on the illuminated ON-OFF switch C.

• Start the suction with 1 or 2 motors by pressing the switch B.

• Preparation:

• Remove the filter E from the tank I.

• Pour detergent into the tank T_1 .
• Hook up the motor head A on the tank I and lock it up with the two hooks G.
• Insert the water hoses (T_1 and T_2) into the tank T
  Fix the flexible hose L into the suction inlet H.
• Attach the end of the water hose U to the quick-release connector located on the motor unit A*
  Fix, at the end of the flexible hose L, the extensions M.
• Secure the hoses (U_1 and U_2) with the clips provided.
• Fix in the most suitable accessor.

Operation:

• Plug the unit in.
• Turn on the illuminated ON-OFF switch C.
• Press the lever on the tap and both the switches F to select operation of 1 or 2 motors.
• Release the lever on the tap (the pumps will automatically shut down).
• Use the switches F.
• Use the switches B to turn on the 1 or 2 pumps.
• To start cleaning, place the accessory on the surface, press the lever on the tap, and pull it toward you.
• When you've finished, turn off the switches F and B and the master switch C.
• Use the lever on the tap to drain the residual detergent.
  If the detergent runs out, turn off the switches F immediately to prevent damage to the pumps.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• The machine shall be disconnected from its power source, by removing the plug from the socket-outlet, during cleaning or maintenance
• Clean the exterior part of the machine with a dry cloth.
• Move the appliance only by catching the carrying handle located on the motor head.
• Store the appliance and the accessories in a dry safe place, out of the reach of children.

FILTER CLEANING

• Once the filter has been cleaned, check whether it is suitable for further use. If it has been damaged or broken, replace it with an original filter.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

All our machines are subjected to strict tests and are covered against manufacturing defects in accordance with applicable regulations (minimum 12 months). The warranty is effective from the date of purchase. If your device or accessories are handed in for repair, a copy of the receipt must be enclosed. During the guarantee period our assistance centre will repair all those malfunctions that, despite the user has followed the instructions in our manual, can be put down to defective materials. The parts deemed faulty will either be replaced or repaired under the guarantee. The replaced parts remain our property. Replacements or repairs do not extend the guarantee period; for the parts replaced, the appliance's period of guarantee is valid. We are not held responsible for damages or faults to the appliance or to any of its components if they are caused by an improper use or maintenance of the appli

ance. The same applies if the instructions given in our handbook are not followed or if parts or accessories are used that are not included in our programme. The guarantee will no longer be considered valid if people that have not been authorised by us tamper with the appliance. The guarantee does not cover wearable parts whose wear is a natural result of the appliance's use.
