The adjustable temperature of up to 400°C makes the appliance suitable for the quick preparation of pizzas or tarte flambée. At lower temperatures, e.g. rolls can be baked or dishes can be over-baked.13 Generally This appliance is for private and indoor use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to ano- ther person the instruction manual should be passed to that per- son, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual. Remove all pa- ckaging and sticker. Wash up all parts carefully (see cleaning). Safety information ∙ Hot surface! There is danger of burning when touch- ing the surface during operation. Set the back of the device with a distance of 10cm to the kitchen wall. ∙ Connect and operate the appliance in accordance with the specifications shown on the rating label. ∙ This device is no built-in oven and cannot be used like this. ∙ Do not use if the plug cord is damaged. Verify before every use. ∙ Do not plug with wet hands. ∙ Connect the power plug to a properly installed and easily acces- sible socket only. ∙ To unplug the power plug, always pull the plug – not the cable. ∙ Plug off the appliance after each use or in case of failure. ∙ Do not pull at the cord. Don’t pull it over edges and don’t bend it too much. ∙ Keep the cord away from hot parts. ∙ The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capa- bilities or lack of experience/knowledge, provided that are su- pervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers. Children must not use the packaging as a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised.14 ∙ Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from the appli- ance and the connecting cable. ∙ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or packaging material (e.g. Plastic Bags). ∙ The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate remote system! ∙ Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. ∙ Do not leave the appliance outdoors or in a damp area. ∙ Never place anything on top of the device and do not cov- er the ventilation slots. ∙ Do not touch the high-power quartz radiators with metal- lic objects. Food must not touch the radiator. ∙ Never immerse the unit in water. ∙ Leave a space of about 10cm around the device. ∙ Never use the device after a malfunction, e.g. if it felt down or has been damaged in any other manner. ∙ The manufacturer is not liable for damage which is occurring due to the usage of the appliance in a different way as de- scribed or a mistake in the handling has been made. ∙ To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing a damaged cord, should only be carried out by a customer service. Only original spare parts have to be used. ∙ The device gets hot, only transport after it cooled down. ∙ Only use the device as described in this manual. ∙ You must not wrap the grill with tin foil (accumulation of heat). ∙ You must not put any materials such as paper, cardboard, pla- stic etc. into the appliance. ∙ This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: o staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and others working environments o by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type en- vironments o bed and breakfast type environments. ∙ Before initial use: clean all parts – except the heating ele- ments - carefully and leave to dry. Heat up the device for about15 15 min. to eliminate the smell of newness. ∙ Attention! Housing gets hot. Danger of burns! Do not place the appliance on a sensitive surface (e.g. painted furniture) and keep a distance of at least 70cm to burnable materials. ∙ During operation steam emerge. Keep hands and face away. ∙ If an extension cable is used, it has to have a cross-section of 1,5mm². A cable drum must always be unwound. ∙ If a GS-tested 16 A multi-pin extension is used, it may not be charged with more than 3680 watts due to fire hazard. ∙ Make sure that children do not tease the cable or that a trip hazard occurs. ∙ The device must always be disconnected from the power supply if it is not supervised and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning. ∙ Attention: since fats can easily ignite on the heating element, never prepare foods with a high fat content! Always use the stainless steel lifter and oven gloves when removing food! ∙ Clean after every use. ∙ Always push the crumb tray under the lower radiator. ∙ Hygiene: Please always clean the device to avoid bacteria and mold formation. Cleaning ∙ Attention! Pull the plug before cleaning and allow the device to cool down. ∙ Never immerse the unit into water. ∙ Fat residues must be removed for reasons of hygiene and fire hazard. ∙ Do not use abrasives, oven spray or solvents. ∙ Clean the housing and the interior with a damp cloth with de- tergent and let it dry. ∙ The high temperatures discolour the surfaces of the interior. ∙ The crumb tray and accessories can be cleaned in hot water and then dried. Push the crumb tray back in.16 Cleaning the pizza stone: ∙ Food stains the stone, this is normal. ∙ The stone must be cleaned after each use. ∙ Let the stone cool down and remove coarse residues (e.g. with a ceramic hob scraper). ∙ Clean the stone with a brush in warm water WITHOUT deter- gent and let it dry. ∙ Some stains will remain on the stone, but these are harmless. Workplace Important: Never place this device on or next to hot surfaces (e.g. hot sto- ves). Only use it on a even, stable and a heat resisting surface. It is important that no inflammable items are near to the device. Do not place the device on the edge of the table so that it cannot be touched by children or fall down when touched. Getting started ∙ Secure the handle of the extractor using the screw. ∙ Connect the unit. ∙ Important! Always preheat the appliance. ∙ The appliance may smoke slightly at the beginning. Do not put any oversized food into the appliance to avoid contact with the heating elements. ∙ Timer: o The unit is started with the timer. If necessary, this can be reset to 30 mi- nutes at any time. o Set the timer to 30 minutes and the desired temperature - the power con- trol light lights up and the active cooling of the appliance starts. o After the time has elapsed, a signal sounds, the heating switches off but the active cooling continues for approx. 5 minutes. Only then pull out the plug. ∙ Temperature: o Set the desired temperature. Once this is reached, the green light shines. o The thermostat clocks and the light switches on and off again and again.17 ∙ Heating mode: o Select the desired heating mode by switching on the corresponding switch: upper heat lower heat + upper + lower heat o Note: after finishing grilling, turn the switches back to OFF and unplug the appliance. ∙ Always preheat the appliance with its door closed! ∙ Do not use baking paper, non-stick dishes or silicone moulds at tempera- tures above 230°C! ∙ As soon as the temperature is reached, pull the drawer forward horizontally by the handle. Then fold the door down.

The metal parts and the pizza stone are very hot! ∙ Put some flour on the lifter - but not on the pizza stone, because this would burn immediately! Instead of flour, durum wheat semolina could also be used. ∙ Place the food on the pizza stone with the help of the lifter. Close the drawer and push it back into the appliance. ∙ Set the timer to the desired cooking time. Note: Always turn the timer all the way up and then set it back to the desired cooking time. ∙ When the cooking time has elapsed, a signal sounds. Do not place frozen pizzas with aluminum plates or any other packaging into the device. Do not cover with aluminum foil!18 Pizza dough 500g flour 250ml water 1 pack of dry yeast Salt 3 tbsp. olive oil Put all ingredients into a large bowl and knead well with a mixer until the dough is smooth. Cover the dou- gh with a towel and give it a rest in a warm room for 1,5 to 2 hours until its volume doubled. Put the dough on a table an briefly knead. Roll out the dough to 3 to 4 mm. To avoid the dou- gh sticks to the table, lightly add flour to the table. Pizza sauce Canned tomatoes 1 small onion, sliced 1clove of garlic, sliced 1 tsp sugar 2 tbsp olive oil Salt, basil, oregano Sauté onions and garlic with oil in a pan. Add the sugar and leave to slight- ly caramelize. Add the tomatoes and simmer for about 15 minutes. Mix briefly with a stick blender and stir in the herbs. Spread the lukewarm sauce onto the pizza crust. Pizza toppings According to your taste you can add the pizza with tomato sauce and: ∙ Salami / ham ∙ Tuna / anchovy ∙ Mozzarella / gorgonzola ∙ Onions / peperoni ∙ Garlic ∙ Oil / rosemary Drizzle with good olive oil and place the pizza on the stone. Back at 380°C for about 5 – 6 minutes. Tarte flambée 250 g flour 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp oil 140 ml water Mix the ingredients and knead into a smooth dough. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured tabletop. For the topping, spread approx. 100 ml sour cream on the dough and season with salt and pepper. Then spread the ham cubes and onion rings on top. Bake at 300°C for about 5 minutes. The baking time and temperature are guidelines and depend on the food and personal taste.19 Correct Disposal of this product This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU.
