Intended use
This product is intended only for straightening human hair. Under no circumstances is it to be used for wigs and hairpieces made of synthetic material.
This product is intended exclusively for private use. This product is not intended for commercial applications.
Heed all the information in this instruction manual, especially the safety information.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation.
Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Connect the product only to properly installed mains power sockets supplying a mains power voltage of 220-240 V~, 50 Hz.
In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the product, remove the plug from the mains power socket.
Always pull on the plug to disconnect the product from the mains; never pull on the power cable itself.
Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged.
- Never take hold of the product, the power cable or the power plug with wet hands.
In case of damage to the product or its power cable, request a replacement product or cable from the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
Do not use the product outdoors.
- Do not use extension cables - this will make it easier to disconnect the product quickly in an emergency.
Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
Do not wrap the power cable around the product. Protect it from damage.
Never immerse the product in liquids or never allow liquids to penetrate the product housing. Do not subject the product to humidity. If liquid does get into the housing, disconnect the product from the mains power socket immediately and have the product repaired by a qualified technician.

WARNING! Do not use this product near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
- Disconnect the product from the mains power source immediately after use. The product is completely free of electrical power only when unplugged.
As additional protection, we recommend you install a residual current circuit-breaker with an activation power rating of not more than 30mA for the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
When the product is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the product is switched off.
WARNING! BURN HAZARD!
- Keep the product out of reach from young children, particularly during use and cooling down.
When the product is connected to the power supply, never leave it unattended.
Never place the product close to sources of heat, and always protect the power cable from damage.
Do not operate the product if it has been dropped or is damaged in any way. Have the product checked and/or repaired by qualified technicians if necessary.
- Allow the product to cool down completely before cleaning or storing it.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Do not open the housing or attempt to repair the product yourself. This can lead to risks and also invalidates the warranty. Defective products should be repaired by authorised specialists only.
d The product heats up during use. Always hold the product by its handle when it is hot.
Never cover the product or put it down on soft materials (e.g. towels). Always place the switched-on/hot product on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.
Unpacking
DANGER! Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.
Remove all parts of the product from the carton.
Remove all packaging material.
Clean all parts of the product as described in the chapter "Cleaning and care".
Operation
- Switching on/off and setting the temperature
Insert the power plug into a mains power socket.
Press the 6 button 5 for approx. 2 seconds to switch on the product. 180^ flashes on the display 2, the product starts to heat up.
Use the +3 / -4 buttons to set a temperature between 100^ and 180^ in 10^ increments. The set temperature starts flashing on the display 2. As soon as the selected temperature is reached, the display lights up permanently.
Hold down the button 5 for approx. 2 seconds to switch off the product.
Pull out the power plug 7 and allow the product to cool down completely.
Key lock
To prevent accidentally changing the temperature during straightening, you can manually activate the key lock.
Hold down the + button 3 for approx. 2 seconds. The buttons are now locked and the lock symbol appears on the display 2
Press the button 3 again for approx. 2 seconds to deactivate the key lock. The buttons are now unlocked and the lock symbol disappears from the display 2
Automatic switch-off
If the product is switched on and no button is pressed for about 40 minutes, ^ C starts to flash in the display 2. After 45 minutes, the product switches itself off automatically and the display goes out.
Hold down the button 5 for approx. 2 seconds to switch the product back on.
NOTE: The automatic switch-off is a safety function only and is not intended as a replacement for switching the product off properly using the button 5.
Selecting the right temperature

Normal to thick, natural hair 140-180 °C
Before first use: Adjust the temperature from 180^ to the lowest recommended temperature (see above table).
If required, adjust the temperature in small steps to reach the optimum temperature setting.
Straightening hair
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Make sure that the ceramic coating of the brush insert 1 does not touch your scalp or other parts of your skin. Risk of burns!
① NOTES:
Excessive temperatures, extended contact with the hair or very frequent straightening can damage the hair. Do not treat a single strand of hair repeatedly, especially at high temperatures.
The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. The only exception to this are special products which facilitate hair straightening.
Comb the dry hair carefully.
- Switch on the product and set the desired temperature.
Section off an approximately 4 cm wide strand of hair. Hold it firmly at the tip using the index and middle finger of your free hand.
Now, guide the product evenly along the strand from the root to the tips. Do not rest the product on any part of the strand for a long time.
Work through the strands one at a time until you have straightened all the hair.
- Switch the product off when you have finished and pull out the power plug 7 . Allow the product to cool down completely before storing it.
Cleaning and care
- Cleaning
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Always remove the power plug 7 from the mains power socket before cleaning the product. Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids to clean it.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Allow the product to cool sufficiently before cleaning it.
CAUTION! RISK OF PROPERTY
DAMAGE! Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents. These can damage the surface of the product.
If any hair gets caught in the bristles of the product, remove it carefully, e.g. with your fingers.
Wipe the product off with a damp cloth as required.
- Allow the product to dry fully before using it again or storing it.
Storage
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Allow the product to cool down sufficiently before storing it.
You can hang the product up by the hanger 6.
If you do not intend using the product for long periods:
- Clean the product as described in the "Cleaning" section.
- Wind up the power cable [7] and fasten it with the hook-and-loop tape supplied.
- Store the product in a clean and dry location.
Troubleshooting

Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibreboard / 80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment.
The Triman logo is valid in France only.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN 373827_2104) available as proof of purchase.
You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving, on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.

You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
