USER MANUAL Transporter Plus JANE
INSTRUCTIONS - IMPORTANT: Read these instructions carefully before using the article and keep them for future reference. WARNINGS: - This product is only suitable for children who cannot yet sit up unaided. - Never leave the child unattended. - Do not let other children play unattended near the carrycot. - Do not use this product if any of the parts are missing, broken or torn. - Do not use this carrycot on top of a stand. - Do not add an extra mattress pad. - Only use on a rm, horizontal, level and dry surface. - Do not use this portable carrycot without securing it to the pushchair as indicated in the instructions. - For safety reasons, this article should not be used on slopes with an inclination of greater than 12º, as this could compromi- se the stability of the pushchair. - Do not put the portable carrycot on raised surfaces such as tables, beds, etc. as there is a risk it could fall off. USE RESTRICTIONS: - Only use original JANÉ parts. - Always put the brake on your pushchair before attaching or removing your TRANSPORTER carrycot. - Always be aware of the risk of re and other sources of heat such as heaters, gas res, etc., when these are near to the carrycot. - The handles and the bottom of the carrycot should be regu- larly inspected to check for signs of damage or wear and tear. - This carrycot is designed for use with children from birth up to 9 kg in weight. - This product is suitable for children who cannot yet sit up unai- ded, or turn over by themselves or get up onto their hands and knees. Maximum weight of child: 9 kg. - Do not go up or down stairs with the pushchair. - Check that the child’s head is in a higher position than the rest of the child’s body. RECOMMENDATIONS - Keep this instruction book for future reference. Always store it inside the pocket in the upholstery at the foot end of the carrycot.19
Your new TRANSPORTER from JANÉ is a carrycot designed for use with children from birth up to 9 Kg. in weight.
- You can also use your TRANSPORTER with any of the JANÉ chassis tted with the PRO-FIX system.
- It is very important that you read these instructions carefully be- fore using the TRANSPORTER carrycot for the rst time. Make sure that everyone who is going to use the carrycot at any point is also familiar with the correct installation and use procedure. Your TRANSPORTER safety carrycot has been designed using the latest advances in safety issues and has been tested in the strictest conditions. It is equipped with the following features: COMFORT AND SAFETY FOR THE BABY: - High density foam mattress. - Ventilation in the frame for better breathability. - Extra ventilation windows that can be opened or closed as required. - Impact absorbing material over the whole surface in contact with the baby. - Automatic reclining backrest. CONVENIENCE FOR PARENTS: - Pro-Fix anchors compatible with all the JANÉ chassis. - Carry handle. - Removable upholstery.
D. GENERAL ADJUSTMENTS
CARRY HANDLE The carry handle has 2 positions (diagram 1a), each with a specic function:
Position 1: Hood down. Position 2: Carry position. Position for attaching and removing the carrycot to and from a JANÉ chassis, for transporting the baby. To change the position, simultaneously press the buttons on both sides of the handle and set it to the required position. ATTENTION: Make sure that the handle is in the correct posi- tion before carrying or lifting the carrycot.
ADJUSTING THE ANGLE OF THE BACKREST
The backrest of the TRANSPORTER carrycot can be adjusted from the exterior using the adjustment knob. It can be set to multiple !21
PORTER from the chassis, quickly, simply and safely, securely anchor- ing it to the chassis.
WARNING: Before using the product, always make sure that
your TRANSPORTER is rmly anchored to the chassis by pulling it upwards. To attach your TRANSPORTER to the chassis, insert the connectors into the slots in the chassis and press until you hear them CLICK.
To release your TRANSPORTER from the chassis, press the buttons on the handle and pull it upwards.
For your baby’s comfort, it can be raised up to an angle of 20º. For your baby’s correct development, we recommend leaving him to rest in the attest position. ATTENTION: The backrest should be set to the lowest position before carrying or lifting the carrycot. VENTILATION CHANNELS Your TRANSPORTER safety carrycot is tted with ventilation channels for better breathability: Lower ventilation channel. Press the button found on the underneath part of the head area to open the two channels in hot weather. E. USING YOUR TRANSPORTER ON YOUR JANÉ PUSHCHAIR The chassis of your pushchair is tted with the PRO-FIX system, ready to attach your TRANSPORTER. The PRO-FIX system makes it easy to attach and remove your TRANS-
F. MAINTENANCE -Do not expose the cover to sunlight for long periods. -Wash the plastic parts with warm water and soap and carefully dry all the components after. -The upholstery can be taken off for washing. (Always check the care label for the washing instructions). -Regularly check the brakes, harnesses and fastening elements that may suffer wear and tear through use. -For your safety and the good conservation of this product, it is impor- tant to bring it to one of our ofcial workshops for regular inspections.

This product comes with a guarantee in compliance with Royal Legis- lative Decree 1 / 2015 of 24 July. Keep your purchase receipt, you will need to show it in the shop where you bought the product to prove the guarantee is valid if you have any complaints. This guarantee excludes any defects or breakages caused by inap- propriate use of the article or inobservance of the safety and main- tenance rules listed in the instruction pages and on the care labels, as well as faults caused by wear and tear through normal use and daily handling. The label displaying the chassis number of the model should never be taken off, it contains important information.
