In this case, the device can no longer be switched on or used. Please re-charge the portable compressor, as described.

Using the portable compressor

Take off the cover cap for the accessory compartment 15 and remove the compressed air hose with threaded connection. Screw the compressed air hose with threaded connection 11 onto the compressed air hose connection 8 of the portable compressor (see Fig.B or C).

  • Do not operate the device in a dusty environment. This is a fire risk and the device could also be damaged.

Note: You can either use the compressed air hose with threaded

connection 11 directly or use it together with the valve adapters 12, 13 and 14 supplied in the scope of delivery.

Connecting the compressed air hose without a valve adapter

Screw the free end of the compressed air hose with threaded connection directly on to the connection valve of the inflatable item.

Connecting the compressed air hose with a valve adapter

The valve adapter, 13 and 14 are located under the cover cap for the accessory compartment (see Fig. C).

First screw the required valve adapter 12, 13 or 14 to the free end of the compressed air hose with threaded connection 11.

  • Connect the valve adapter, or into the connecting valve on the inflatable item (remove valve cap on inflatable item first if necessary).

Remove the compressed air hose

  • Connection without valve adapters 12, 13 or 14: Screw the compressed connection hose with threaded connection 11 off the valve of the inflatable item.

Connect with the valve adapter 12, 13 or 14: First undo the valve

adapter from the connecting valve of the inflatable item. Screw the valve adapters 12, 13 or 14 off the compressed air hose with threaded connection (if necessary, reattach the valve cap on to the inflatable item).

Note: When disconnecting the compressed air hose with threaded connection [1], air can escape from the valve of the inflatable item. Ensure that you remove the compressed air hose with threaded connection [1] as quickly as possible.

Presetting the air pressure

Switch the portable compressor on using the On/Off switch 3.
- Connect the compressed air hose with threaded connection 11 of the portable compressor 1 to the inflatable item which you want to inflate. To do so, please proceed as follows.
- Pressing the On/Off switch again will allow you to select the desired unit of pressure. There is a choice between the following units: pounds per square inch ("PSI"), Bar ("Bar") and kilograms per square centimetre ("kg/cm²") (see Fig. A).
Use the ^ 十 + ^ 一 button and the - - " button 2 to select the desired pressure. To speed up the selection, you can keep the respective button pressed down for longer.

Pressure settings between 0.2 bar and 4.1 bar are possible in 0.05 bar steps (see Fig. A).

Note: If a button is not pressed for at least 5 seconds, the display will show the ACTUAL value of the pressure. The pressure which has been set remains in the memory.

  • Switch the integrated compressor unit on by pressing the On/Off switch for the compressor 7 once.
The compressor will start and pump up the inflatable item.
  • You can switch off the compressor at any time by pressing the On/Off switch for the compressor once more.
  • Otherwise, the compressor will switch off automatically once the inflatable item has reached the preset pressure.
  • Disconnect the inflatable item from the compressed air hose with threaded connection as described in the previous section.
At the end of work, screw the compressed air hose with threaded connection 11 back off the compressed air hose connection 8 of the portable compressor 1.

Attention: During operation, the compressed air hose connection 8 of the portable compressor 1 will get hot. Make sure that you do not come into contact with the device

during operation to avoid suffering burns. At the end of work, wait for at least 10 minutes before you unscrew the compressed air hose with threaded connection [1] back off the device.

Note: After being switched on, the device switches off automatically after approx. 30 seconds, if the compressor or the LED is not switched on.

Note: The digital pressure gauge with pressure display 5 of the portable compressor 1 is not trade-approved. After pumping up inflatable items where the wrong pressure could be dangerous (e.g. bicycle tyres), always check the pressure at a service point with a trade-approved device. Check the pressure of the inflatable item there.

Tips for use

The device is not intended for continuous operation. The device was designed to create air pressure - not an air flow. Please do not use the device for more than 5 minutes at a time, to avoid overheating and damage to the device. After 5 minutes continuous operation the "OH" display flashes on the digital pressure gauge with pressure display. This indicates imminent overheating. Switch the device off at that point in order to protect it from overheating. Then let the device cool down for at least

15 minutes. We recommend first filling a large-volume item with air, in order to then generate the required pressure with the device.

Checking the air pressure with the portable compressor
