CAUTION, RISK OF FIRE

• Make sure the unit is in the upright position for at least 24 hours before turning it on.
• Make sure that the product is placed on a dry flat surface.
• Leave at least 50cm behind, around and in front of the appliance and make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed.
• Make sure the removable filter and the tank are properly positioned and pushed in.
• Do not remove the float from the tank because it will prevent the appliance from starting.
• If you want, you can add rubber shock absorbing pads under the dehumidifier to reduce vibrations, noise and marks on a wooden floor.

As with all electrical appliances, it is important to maintain the appliance properly in order to avoid any damage or injury. Please read these instructions carefully before switching the appliance on and keep them for later reference. WAF-direct society accepts no liability for any damage that is caused by noncompliance with this instruction manual. The appliance is only to be used in the household for the intended purposes described in this user manual. Using the appliance for other purposes than the intended ones or performing technical changes to the appliance could be hazardous for health and life.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Please read all the instructions carefully before using Lary.
2. Any use that is not recommended by the reseller can lead to fire, power surge or can hurt people.
3. Remove the packaging and make sure that Lary is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your reseller.
4. Do not let children play with the different pieces of the packaging.
5. Before using Lary, make sure that the voltage indicated on the product is in accordance with your electrical installation.
6. Pay special attention when using the appliance near a child.
7. Using an extension electric cable can create overheating and fire.
8. Do not pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance. Always unplug Lary by holding and pulling on the socket.
9. Do not insert object inside the fan. It can cause electrical shock or damage the appliance. Do not cover or put objects that can obstruct the air flow.
10. Always unplug Lary when you are not using it.
11. Never use Lary if it can fall into a liquid.
12. During operation, leave at least 20cm behind, around and in front of the appliance.
13. Make sure the product is on a dry flat and horizontal surface.

14. Do not use Lary outdoors.

15. Always unplug Lary when moving it.

16. Keep the product clean and in good condition.
17. Only use the recommended spare parts (non official parts could be dangerous and invalidate the warranty).
18. Store Lary in a dry and safe place, away from children.
19. If the power cord is damaged, it can be changed by the reseller. Only qualified persons can make this repair.
20. This product cannot be used by children less than 8 years old. Please read carefully this user manual and use Lary with caution.

Display of the humidity rate of room air:

• Between 40 and 60% , the display is green to indicate an ideal humidity rate.
• Below 40% , the display is blue to indicate a too dry air.
• Above 60% , the display is red to indicate a too humid air.

USE PRECAUTIONS

• Make sure the product is placed on a dry, level surface.
• Leave at least 50~cm space behind, on the sides and in front of the unit.
• Make sure that the removable filter and the tank are correctly positioned and depressed.
• Do not remove the float from the tank, as this will prevent the unit from starting.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Make sure that the product is placed on a dry flat surface. Leave at least 20cm behind, around and in front of the appliance. Make sure that the pre-filter and the tank are correctly placed.

1. Plug the appliance.

2. Press the ON/OFF button:

3. The digital display will flicker during the stabilisation time and then, it will display the humidity rate of the room air.

4. Lary automatically starts in HYGROSMAR® FUNCTION.

5. Press ON/OFF twice to select "CLOTHES DRYER" MODE.

6. Press ON/OFF a third time to select NIGHT MODE.
7. Press ON/OFF for a long time to turn the appliance off. The fan will stop after 30 seconds.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

A HYGROSMART FUNCTION: This mode allows you, at maximum speed, to maintain an ideal humidity level in the air (between 47% and 53% ). When the humidity level is below 47% , the unit goes into standby mode: the compressor stops immediately and the fan stops after 30 seconds. If the humidity level is above 53% , the appliance automatically switches on again; the compressor starts up again 3 seconds after the fan.
CLOTHES DRYER MODE: In "clothes dryer" mode, the appliance works at maximum speed. It is the perfect mode for laundry drying which needs significant air dehumidification.
© "NIGHT" MODE: Identical to the Hygrosmar® function, this mode allows you to maintain a humidity level between 47 and 53% . However, the appliance works more quietly, at low speed, and it does not produce sound signal once the tank is full.

TANK DRAIN (SEE PAGE 3)

"FULL TANK" ALERT: The appliance produces a sound signal once the tank is full. The appliance turns off and the indicator becomes red. To empty the tank:

① Turn off the appliance and pull out the tank using the handle provided.
② Drain the condensate.
③ Reposition the tank.
④ Press the ON/OFF button and choose the desired operating mode.

The dehumidifier is equipped with a tank positioning sensor. As a matter of security, the product turns off if the tank is missing or not properly placed.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS (SEE PAGE 3)

CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE: Thanks to the continuous drainage hose, the appliance will work independently without having to empty the tank. Make sure the hose is not bent and that it is placed on a downward slope so that water can easily drain away. Do not modify or extend the drainage hose.

① Remove the tank.
② Connect the drainage hose.
③ Pass the hose through the opening provided for this purpose before repositioning the tank.

NEGATIVE IONISATION: For your well-being, when it is in operation, the appliance diffuses negative ions into the room. These are created by the corona effect, i.e. an electric current rich in negative ions is applied to very fine carbon fibres. This means that your air dehumidifier DOESN'T produce ozone.

AUTOMATIC ANTIFREEZE FUNCTION (DEFROST): The appliance automatically enters in defrost function if the ambient temperature is between 5^ and 15^ . Every now and then, the compressor stops but the fan continues to work.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER: The pre-filter captures dust and extends the appliance efficiency. It is recommended to clean it every month. Unclip the pre-filter and clean it with warm water and a soft brush.

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE:

1. Unplug the appliance before doing any manipulation.
2. Do not immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid.
3. Do not use corrosive, abrasive or flammable products to clean the appliance.
4. Use a soft cloth to remove dust at the air inlets and outlets.
5. To avoid calc deposit, clean the tank at least once a month with an appropriate product or with white vinegar.

STOCKAGE:

To avoid any bacteria or virus proliferation, never store the appliance with water inside the tank and be sure that the appliance is perfectly dry.

1. Empty and clean the tank.
2. Clean the pre-filter.
3. Store the product in a place that is protected against dust and that is clean and dry.

ACCESSORY (NOT INCLUDED)

In order to empty the tank in a high level drain, you can easily add the Pump It Up by air&me lift pump in Lary's tank. Small and easy to handle, it is easy to install and enables the dehumidifier to work independently.

HI display	> The ambient humidity level is greater than 95%. The device stops for safety.

The appliances are under warranty for a 2-year period from the purchase date. The warranty covers all failures resulting from hidden manufacturing or raw material defects.
